The second book featuring the rather Irish madcap self proclaimed detective, Rory Branagan and his fearless sidekick, Cassidy.
This book was probably better than the last one due to the emotional content especially with dogs. The storyline again was good though wacky but again the drawings are awful! I'm sure a ten year old could draw better than that! Hence, again, why I can only give this one a score of 3 stars.

I had this book pre ordered after I finished the first one.
In this book Rory Brangan and his sidekick cat Cassidy take on a dog snatching menace.
This book is even better than the first one with many exiting plot twists and amazing adventures. I can't wait for the next one.

The book was amazing! I felt as if I was there with Rory, and all the action happened there right in front of my eyes. All the problems added up, and in the end, told us who was the criminal. It was such a page-turner, and I would love to read more books in the series.

I like that there is a dog that thinks it's a detective.

We love this book. I enjoy the literary references, and I think there's a nod to "A Prayer for Owen Meany" in the plot.
