Very different than any reverse harem I have ever read!

I’m a bit conflicted about this book. At this point I’m not quite sure what to write so I guess I will break this up into sections and see if that works out for me. First of all, the author states in the title and the blurb that this is a Bizzaro Universe/Alternate reality to her Gods and Monsters Trilogy, which I have not read. So I am not exactly sure how much the relationships in this book are driven by the relationships in those books. ...more

I've never reviewed my books before, but I feel like reviewing this one because it was the first book I've felt as though I was only a vessel for my characters as they took ME on a journey. I totally winged it on an attempt to write a quick novella, but once they took over, I didn't censor them. This also means I didn't feel the need to cut or condense as much. They were in charge, and they know "their" fans want as much of them as possible. So, a novella turned into a full-length novel 155K wor

3.5 stars for this one
I enjoyed this one & it was definitely a yummy, filthy read. My favourite character was definitely Ryder. He is all the things that I love in a high school hero. Dirty & dominant with a soft side only the heroine gets to see. I will say that I did have some moments where I felt like I lost my way in the story. The tense felt a little off to me but not enough of a problem that I couldn't enjoy the characters & their path to their version of a HEA. ...more

I've been following Janie Marie for years, I'm totally addicted to her writing and will fangirl over anything she puts out! This book was no exception to that, I have been reading the Wattpad version since the first day she posted the blurb/chapter one. It can be read as a standalone, but it's so much better if you have read her other books as this book highlights the past world’s characters in a new way.

This book was such an unexpectedly deep and refreshingly beautiful love story. It had everything I could have possibly wanted. There was a back story that was filled with rich emotional history. There was a feeling both of love lost, lost found, love fought for, and love won. I very rarely say this, but this title like a few rare others is one that I wish I could close and open again and have it be like a was reading for the first time. It’s that rare book that you want to just have that amazing

Before I start this review let me state a few facts about Jane's Team... If you are not a fan of Reverse Harem romances where the woman is the main focus and she has a group of infatuated men surrounding her and doing all sorts of kinky shit to her, you are not going to like this novel. If you are opposed to high school romances with loads of scorching sexy time scenes, you are not going to like this novel.

I must say every book that Janie puts out astounds me. The book has every element that would anyone laugh or cry. The writing itself is fantastic and seeing Janie grow as a writer from Gods & Monsters #1 proves how much she has improved in her storytelling. The books chapters are never dull...you have comedy, romance, and adventure in every page. It is filled with love and the epilogues tied the entire book together. The nod to Gods and Monsters truly made me scream in excitement. You will never

I'v been reading Janie's work for a few year now and have quickly fallen in love with the Gods & Monsters universe, her boy's- men and Jane. Jane's Team, can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading the trilogy first so you can understand her love for them all and the second epilogue.
The story has a coming of age vibe, and deals with young love. Jane, our main character, is relatable to teens and young adult readers, as she fights for what she wants and believes in; being with her ...more

I love a reverse harem and this just exceeded my expectations! being able to watch these characters grow and become comfortable in themselves and their relationships, not only with Jane, but with each other was an incredible journey. i loved seeing 17 and 18 year olds being showed as having REAL adult feelings and talking through them, because so many times people think young adults aren’t capable of that and it was so refreshing.

I read it on Wattpad and I absolutely loved it! Reading Janie Marie's Gods and Monsters series is definitely beneficial and makes Jane's Team so much more, but it's not a prerequisite.
This book is definitely a light read, and for anyone who doesn't want something too heavy, but they want steamy, cute, romantic and more unrealistic expectations of what boys should be like (as all of us romance readers do) then you should definitely give this ARTWORK a chance!

What a book. I didn't mind the quarantine while reading this book. It was my first book by this author but I loved it and will definetely be reading more of her.
i just could lose myself in this book how the writer takes you away in Jane's story and gives everyone their moment to shine. She loved them a long time and they all bring someting different what make's this a perfect fit.

After reading the whole God's & Monsters series, this book just makes complete sense. You could read it as a stand alone book and it would still make sense in a way. I definitely do recommend though to read the whole series before reading this one, as everything will fall into place and make more sense to you if you're new to this world of Janie Marie.

So I went into this story with an open mind, but a deeper understanding for the characters from knowing their souls in Janie Marie's Gods and Monsters trilogy. This reverse Harem sucked me in right away. From a gorgeous step brother to a family of panty dropping hotties next door, I couldn't have asked for more...besides having all of them for myself😅 A really good book will allow your imagination to feel the characters souls and connect in so many ways, and that's exactly what happened here. Jane is a girl who's in love with her best friend. And that best friend soon becomes a stepbrother.
But he's not the only boy in her life, there are three more. She's tutoring one and feels safe with the other two.
One morning, when she's trying to wake up her stepbrother, changes everything. There are no boundaries left, there is no holding back, there's love, lust and yes - a lot of anger.

I think I've never read a more smutty read and somehow I was quite fine with it even if there wasn't that much of a storyline.
Writing style: I don't know what I liked about it, but there was just something very nice about Marie's writing. I'm definitely considering reading her other books.
Characters: There was so much going on with the cast of characters. There were a lot of people with a lot of different personalities an ...more

I Knew going into this book that it was a "spin-off" of the God's and Monster books. It was a 'what if' this was in a different world, and different scenario book, and let me tell you it made it all the more fun and funny. Let me start off by saying you do not have to have read the original series to read this book, but it does make it a more fun read if you have. In this version Jane is trying to understand how she can have feelings for multiple guys. Take a ride as Jane tries to handle all of

Ladies and Gents, she did it again! Janie Marie created yet another story that I fell in-love with for numerous reasons.
If you like stories with yummy guys, steamy smut scenes, bromances, silly scenes that make you giggle, and characters you can find yourself relating to, then this is the book for you!
Also, if you often find yourself torn between which male character you love more and want them all, then you're REALLY going to love this story because...

Loved this story of how a girl discovered that it is ok to love more than one guy, even though it is a little unusual. I do like books that focus on the fact that unusual lifestyles are ok and it was fun reading about Jane finding her way and also discovering herself whilst being supported by those she chose to surround herself with. There were a few serious issues which were developed in this story and I thought they were navigated really well. The final chapter tied into the Gods & Monsters tr

I just finished reading the Wattpad version last night and I’m already itching for some more. I can’t wait to hold the paperback in my hands and add that beauty onto my shelf with the rest of my Janie Marie book collection. This is a reverse harem that can be read as a stand-alone book or in addition to the rest of the G&M realm. It does make some of the hinted lines easier to understand if you’ve read the other G&M books but it’s also very easy to follow along without previously reading the oth

I need to start this off by saying I've never read a book by this author before.
This is an alternate reality book from her Gods and Monsters series.
It's the same characters just in a different world and setting.
However, you can understand the book without having read the series.
The only part I found confusing was the epilogue where it brings the two worlds together.
I don't want to give too much away, but I will say I enjoyed it.

Janie Marie is a wife and mother of three. She devotes her time to her family and her characters. She enjoys entertaining her readers by giving them glimpses of their favorite characters outside of the worlds she brought them to life in.
Her wish is simply that readers who manage to make it to the end of her stories take something away, and they keep it with them always.
