Can you pinpoint a time in your life where you realized you are completely and utterly screwed?

I can. I got the dreaded phone call, the one every baseball player hopes and prays never comes.

I was traded. Yeah, that phone call.

Traded from my long time team of over ten years. And not just to any team, but my childhood rivals; the Chicago Rebels.

Completely and utterly screwed, right? Wrong. The trade was the least of my concerns.

I met a girl. Natalie. Man, she's perfect.

I swore I would never get involved with anyone during the season. Too complicated. But can you believe I have zero restraint when it comes to this girl? I couldn't get her out of my head and the more I talked to her, the more I realized I needed her in my life.

So what's the problem? Why am I screwed? Because, Natalie, the girl I can't stop crushing on, yeah . . . she's married.

At least, that's what I was told . . .

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

Baseball isn’t the only thing Cory Potter is really good at.

From the moment we met Cory Potter, I knew I wanted his book. This was one of my most highly anticipated reads because of Cory. I fell for him in 'The Dugout' and I was dying for his story. Cory did not disappoint me. I loved him just as much as I thought I would.

Cory is a legend in baseball. He’s played for Baltimore since his rookie season and is a fan favorite there. Now, in his early 30’s, the unthinkable happens… he gets traded. To his most hated team in the league. Cory is now a Rebel and he doesn’t know what to do with this. The only plus side is he’s in Chicago where his sister Milly is, along with his friends.

Cory has always put baseball first. He’s always felt that it was unfair to have a serious relationship when his career is so demanding. His plan was to settle down when he retired from the sport. Then he met Natalie. Natalie is Jason Orsen’s (Cory’s teammate and friend) sister. Due to some things going on in her life, Cory doesn’t think he has a chance with her. But he couldn't be more wrong.
Ask anyone who knows me, I’m the nice guy, the dependable guy, the leader with a heart. I don’t screw women over, ever.

Cory is my favorite hero in this series. I couldn’t have loved him more. I loved how kind and sweet he was, and all the stress he was under broke my heart. Natalie was great for Cory. She was just the kind of girl he needed and seeing as her brother is also a player, she understands the demands of the job better than most. I understood the stress and the tension and the build up to the conflict in this story, but I wish it wouldn’t have caused If it wasn’t for that, I think this would have been a 5 star read. Either way, I still loved it to pieces and it was a strong 4/4.5.

When it comes to romantic comedies, Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors. This sports-romance/rom-com series have been great for me. I love this group of friends so much. This book made me laugh so hard, it had just the right amount of angst, and gave me all the feels. I love these characters a ton and I hope there is more to come from this group! The Trade is a must read.
I love the way he holds on to me, as if he needs me to be connected to him. And I love the way he makes me feel, like I’m whole again.

I love the way he feels beneath me, like an unbreakable stone. I love the way he holds on to me, as if he needs me to be connected to him. And I love the way he makes me feel, like I’m whole again. Beautiful. Precious. Wanted.

Every single book in this series has been an absolute pleasure to read. Meghan Quinn doesn’t seem to have it in her to write anything less than fabulous. ”THE TRADE” had the kind of slow burn that I love. The time it took for things to heat up between Cory and Natalie was a bit of sweet torture with never a dull moment. When they finally come together it was completely worth the wait. This is the one book in the series that didn’t drag out the angst. So for those of you who avoid angsty reads at all costs, I think you’ll find that you can handle the short amount of torment in this one.

There also wasn't a ton of laugh out loud moments, but the storyline and chemistry between Cory and Natalie were what made this one a winner! I hope that we get at least one or two more installments before we have to say goodbye to this series.

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 5
Heroine: 4.5
Plot: 4.5
Angst: 4
Steam: 4.5
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 4.5

Meghan Quinn returns to the world of baseball romance with “The Trade”.

After playing over ten years with the Storm, first baseman Cory Potter was traded in the middle of the season to the Chicago Rebels. A team known for their rowdy players and even rowdier fans. A team who is not happy with straight laced Cory. That is the least of his concerns though, because after meeting his ideal woman he finds out she’s married, or so he’s been told.

Jason Orson’s recently divorced sister Natalie has been unsuccessfully trying to date again. But after one too many horrible dates she’s decided it’s too soon to try to find Mr. Right. After meeting the incredibly magnetic and gorgeous Cory Potter, she might change her mind, but would he even turn her way? Because the man is way out of her league.

After a series a funny, unfortable and charming interactions due to heinous miscommunication between them, Cory and Natalie finally, sort of, get their act together. But can they find happiness for the long haul?

With Cory and Natalie, Quinn has created two charismatic individuals. Cory is observant and attentive, caring and sweet and is looking for a partner he can share his life with while Natalie has an adorably awkward sense of humor with some self-worth issues due to her cheating ex.

The two of them were at times frustrating, but overall adorable together. Their romance was a perfect slow burn. Their banter was entertaining and their chemistry sizzling. They both had insecurities and made mistakes but they eventually found their way.

Even though I loved Cory and Natalie, I adored every single one of Jason Orson’s appearances. He is just hilarious and I couldn’t get enough of him and his Cory man crush. Absolutely adorable. I loved getting updates on the rest of the gang and cannot wait to read more from this world.

The Trade is a standalone contemporary romance by Meghan Quinn. It is sports romance, told from both points of view with a happy ending. Sub-Genre: rom-com

I like the previous books in this series except The Trade. It came out strong with Miss Quinn's signature humorous banter. The slow burn between Cory and Nathalie is hot and fun.

What really throw me off is the last part. About 30% toward the end. The drama of the break up is just.... forced. And dragged. It is not convincing for Cory's character that he suddenly have change of heart.

Overall I still enjoy this book OK

Oh man I had been waiting for Cory's book ever since Carson's book. I fell in love with both men in The Dugout and up until now Carson had been my fav but Cory gave him a run for his money. He was just so bloody amazing and sweet and gosh my heart hurt so much for all the pain the trade caused and how hard it was for him afterwards to deal with everything.

Meghan Quinn never fails to give me exactly what I crave in a book... an amazing, sexy hero, all the fun times and a whole lot of angst. She can do no wrong with this series and I hope this wasn't the end of it because I could keep reading about these baseball players and the women who bring them to their knees forever.

Cory was beyond anything I thought he would be. I absolutely loved his chemistry and banter with Natalie and the bromance with Jason omg, those two had me laughing out loud. Jason Orson is simply too much but that's what makes him the best aha. I just adored this book and this story. It was very emotional for me, I felt so bad for Cory, I teared up many times. I was a total softy for him.

So I am probably going to make myself really unpopoular around here. I have loved this series. The heart of the guys - the humor. In this book Natalie is almost as funny as her brother. And her dates. Lord. I was crying I was laughing so hard. I also adored Cory. He was solid, dependable, lovable. He and Natalie are clearly made for each other. I was all in. Until, I wasn't. So this may be a problem that is only for me and not for other readers - so I'll lay it all out with appropriate spoilery warnings and you can decide for yourself.

I will say - if you have loved this series - this certain holds up and adds to the series as a whole. It gives glimpses of other favorite characters (especially Jason) and still leaves room for the Lindsey-Walker pairing I'm hoping for! The humor is all there and the drama. It is definitely an emotional rollercoaster!

Cory Potter is a very successful and super famous baseball player who fell into a drastic event of his life. Playing and dedicating his passion and life as a Chicago Bocat, he has been traded halfway through the season to another team - his childhood rival team, Chicago Rebels, a team where there was animosity when it comes to outsiders. As in not friendly. Attending an event based on charity and on his introduction as new team mate Cory meets Natalie, who is his one but the only problem was she was married, or is she, as he was told.

Natalie Orson is the sister to Jason Orson twin to Joseph Orson, who is also Cory's team mate. She helps Jason run the charity, The Lineup. Natalie had a bad marriage, recently divorced she was fresh out to take a chance for a future with Mr. Right. Natalie is fiery and sassy, kind and genuine. When she meets Cory she finds herself attracted to him. Having uncomfortable issues on herself because of her ex husband and recent bad dates, Natalie doubts herself and thinks herself out of his league.

I indulge slow burn romance only when I'm in mood, this story triggered a heart-warming sensation. Cory and Natalie didn't start easy, although their attraction was instant. There was misunderstanding and little arsehole side of Cory. Lots of hurdles came, adding flaws, terrible situations and insecurities. Meghan Quinn has never partialised her characters, never omiting any details. There was so much rollercoaster of emotions, creating havoc of positions which eventually led to a happy ending. Cory is so charming and determined to make Natalie his. The part where is she is understanding of a basball players needs and necessities of life is applicative. These tidbits of support and guide strengthen their relationship. The characters were likeable and full of intensity. Jason and Natalie's relationship was the best brother-sister conversarion I adored. Jason is so supportive of Natalie and it is said that they share the same sense of flakiness as her brother. I've experienced their emotions as mine.

This is a Rom-Com, sports, slow burning romance. We get a sweet, sassy banter and a lingering happy feeling for a while. There are characters in the book which are inter-connected with Meghan Quinn's other books. This book can be read as a standalone. With plentiful reviews gushing on Jason and Cory, I cannot wait to read Jason's story. This book is a 5 star worth with full on entertainment. I recommend this.

So I have to say that Cory has been one of my most favourite secondary characters in this series of stand-alones. I think in part because when we met Milly he was this super famous, successful athlete, yet he was still such a great brother. And every time we met him he was so straight and together I just loved him.

He was so solid and dependable. Then to get his story and discover he's always incredibly sweet just made me love him even more. But then Meghan had to go and throw in an overabundance of muscles, a "boss" cock, and some great dirty talking and I was done.

And Natalie was perfect for him. She was just as sweet and despite her ex making her doubt her self worth she was awesome. Plus she's Jason's sister so she's well versed in all the craziness. And with them all being connected we got a lot of the couples I have really enjoyed.

Now there was a bit of a twist in this story and I really wasn't happy with Cory for quite some time. But at the same time my heart broke for him and I completely understood why he was a huge dick. Luckily for me he pulled his head out and proved why I had fallen so hard for him in the first place.

This story really took me on this awesome roller-coaster ride. First I was teetering on the edge of overwhelming chemistry and attraction. Then I was riding high on some smoking hot sexy times. Before I plummeted into a vast array of emotions. And all along the journey I was laughing and smiling and possibly shedding a tear. I really enjoyed the ride and I can't wait to see if there are any more additions to this awesome series.

Gah, you guys, this book was just so sweet.
My crops are watered my skin is clear.

description

If you want something light and swoony this is the book for you. Cory Potter is the ultimate book boyfriend - hot, gorgeous, funny and considerate. Natalie is so relatable. And how can you not root for a couple that stays in bed watching The Office? Honestly? Goals.

Also, I loved the slow-burn and friendship between these two. And now I'm definitely looking forward to reading a lot more from Meghan Quinn.

Although I loved the conflict at the beginning of the book, I wasn't a fan of the conflicts in the end. It was a bit too dragged out and made the characters look a tad whinny. But other than that, I had SO much fun reading this.

I can see why my man Jason Orson has a huge crush on the Cory Fucking Potter

After playing for his longterm baseball team in Baltimore Cory is traded to the Chicago Rebel's a team where their players and fans are known for controversy and animosity when it comes to outsiders and especially lovers of their rival team The Chicago Bobcat's who Cory grew up a fan of. Attending an event for his new team mate and friends charity event he runs into a gorgeous girl who he is instantly enamored with, only problem is she just so happens to be married or so Cory is told

Natalie who is the sister of Jason Orson helps run his charity The Lineup. Recently divorced and encouraged by friends and family to get back out there and have some fun. She finds herself running into her brothers new teammate the one and only Cory Potter who is everything she could see herself wanting and more only problem is she is way out of his league or so she thinks

This story was so freaking adorable, heart warming, frustrating at times, funny, slow burn and oh so satisfying. I loved Cory so much. He was sweet, kind, gentle, caring and extremely respectful and attentive. Natalie really is related to Jason, they both have a similar sense of humor and can be awkward at times but you just can't help but fall in love with them

Cory and Natalie had amazing chemistry and their banter and ease of conversation and connection was a joy to experience. They both had their own insecurities, vulnerabilities and stress they were dealing with. They were not perfect and had their faults also but together they found a way to lean on each other and make things work though it was not always an easy road

I ABSOLUTELY loved all the scenes with the gang from the previous books especially every single time Jason was present. He is just as funny as ever and I'm still madly in love with him though now I'm also smitten with Cory who was the perfect swoon worthy hero in yet another enjoyable read from Meghan Quinn

“Holy fucking shit, what is Cory Potter doing here?” Jason shouts, as he comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my body, his hands cupping my chest. “ Christ, you smell good.” I feel him take a deep breath of my back . “Why do you smell so nice? Dottie, babe, smell him."

Oh Jason you're still my favourite 💙💙💙

Sports Romance | Can Stand Alone

“YOU’VE NEVER WATCHED THE OFFICE? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!?!?” I’m with you Natalie, how can someone NOT have seen this show!

Once again, Meghan has dazzled me with her words. I’ve been itching to read Corey’s story and I am so delighted that he chose a smart, passionate, and realistic woman to give his heart to. This is truly what made me love him! It’s all about how the author builds connections around their characters and Meghan did their relationship justice!

The Trade was different than I expected. Probably because I was so used to laughing at some of the characters from previous books that I thought I would do the same here. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest that this one was more emotional than the previous ones, I just wasn’t expecting it. I love books where I find myself surprised by the storyline as I usually end up devouring them in one or two sittings because I’m so intrigued to see where the story goes; that’s what happened for me here! I was unexpectedly THRILLED and loved Corey and Natalie for who they were sperate and together. Their romance is a slow burn for sure, but when the flames ignite it’s exquisite to watch.

Trust me, you won’t want to miss the Trade! This is another excellent novel by a very talented Meghan Quinn who always gives her readers what they want!

The Trade is one s-l-o-w burn romance. The flame between Cory and Natalie actually burns hot right from the very beginning, but due to a combination of insecurities, misunderstandings, and fears, neither wants to act on their feelings. The sexual tension goes on and on forever and it just about tortured me to death. When they finally get together, though, Cory and Natalie set the sheets on fire! What a payoff!

As the only single people in their friend group, Cory and Natalie are thrown together and have plenty of time getting to know each other while trying to hide their mutual attraction. I really enjoyed their easy, flirty rapport.

Cory F*cking Potter, where have you been all my life? The swoony All-Star first baseman has a strong work ethic and a gentle heart. It hurt seeing him struggle with being traded to a rival team. His rejection by his new teammates and especially the fans is brutal.

Natalie is funny, bright, and charismatic but not at all confident that she’s in Cory’s league. Despite her insecurities, she’s a strong woman who ultimately knows her worth.

Cory’s teammate, Jason, is crazy and hilarious. I loved him so much. I also crushed on Natalie’s ride or die best friend, Monica.

Between the backdrop of a Carribean paradise and the allure of professional baseball, I was sold. The humor is a little over the top in places and the story is sad at times, but the chemistry between Cory and Natalie is always hella sexy. Overall, it’s a well-balanced rom com that I quite enjoyed.

Tropes:
• Forced proximity
• Friends-to-lovers
• Age gap (him: 35 yrs old, her: 26 yrs old)

This has easily become one of my top Meghan Quinn books! The beginning of it had similar vibes as “The Unhoneymooners,” which was cute 💕 It was funny, spicy & the tension was great 👌🏼

The main characters were kind, sweet, caring people. Cory was almost tooo nice, to the point that it made the book a bit boring while also making it so comforting to read, if that makes sense?¿ (I think books have just ruined my expectation for real men tbh, because Cory was genuinely the sweetest human ever)

The one thing about this baseball series is that every book seems to end the same way lmfao?! That third act breakup almost always happens for a very similar reason but anywaayy 👀

I'm back with another review for another EPIC story from the Queen of Rom-Com, Meghan Quinn. I know, I know...you are probably saying 'Dana, you say that with every Meghan Quinn"...well, you know what, that's because it is the truth!!!

So, I started The Trade on 5 March at around 6:00 pm....had to stop at 11 pm; woke up at 3:00 AM! because I needed more! I adored Cory (F^cking) Potter! He was everything I thought he would be when I first "met" him in The Dugout. Ms. Quinn brought him to "life" perfectly! Throw in Natalie (wait till you meet her), she is my spirit character! These two together....HOLY BANTER!!!!

I just want to just mention that even though this book is freaking hilarious (um, I'm going to admit that I snort laughed a few times), it also has a serious side to it. Ms. Quinn brings the laughs and of course the snort laughs, but she also brings these passages that are thought provoking and mind blowing!

"Fear should propel us forward, not hinder us"..that right there holds so much truth!”

4.5 STARS!

The Trade by Meghan Quinn was just so wonderful. Meghan writes the best romcoms and this book is no different. In fact, this series has consumed my heart and soul, and I'm so ready for Walker Rockwell's book next! ❤🖤

Corey Potter is such an enigmatic hero that you cannot help but swoon over while reading. He's facing a monumental moment in his career. He's being traded midseason to the team that rivals his beloved Bobbies, The Rebels. Its been such a hardship for him to become apart of the new team and the fans and media do not make it easy. It's the first time ever you see a great player slowly start to lose the love of the game and it starts to take a toll on his health and well-being.

Natalie Orson has just gone through a divorce that's left her devastated. Her ex-husband, Ansel, was her everything having been together since they were in middle school but his affair truly breaks her. Meeting Cory and falling for him made Natalie realize how much she was missing out on. Plus, she's exactly what Cory needs too. She becomes his constant rock and being Jason's sister, Cory's teammate, she is well aware of the ins and outs of baseball. Obviously, these two have their ups and downs and the angst is truly felt. Not going to lie, I shed some tears for their pain. There is also an age-gape element between them which made them even sexier together in my opinion. But I got to say the miscommunication that led to their downfall there for a moment was the main reason I lowered the rating to 4.5 from 5.

Overall, I love these characters. I loved the chemistry and the moments between Natalie and Cory. It was sexy and sweet and utterly special. Cory Potter is everything!! Another book husband among many!

No real review here except to say...

I love everything that Meghan Quinn writes. She is my go-to for sexy rom-coms and really knows how to write interesting characters and sexy heroes. But one thing bugged me about this book and made it all just a bit unbelievable for me.

Glancing at the other reviews, I see that this didn't seem to bother anyone else. lol. Oh well, maybe I took this too seriously. Otherwise, it was a great little romance.

Not gonna lie, Meghan Quinn pretty much has me at hello. Seriously ... she can write no wrong. If you’re not drowning in her word wizardry and getting lost in her fictional worlds, are you really living??

She entertains me with her swoony romantic heartwarming storylines over and over again. AND THEY ARE FUNNY TO BOOT. It’s a fun time to be a romance reader I tell ya! *happy sigh* I hope she writes forever and ever ....

I knew back when we met Cory back in The Dugout the guy would have swoon coming out of the wazoo and he did NOT disappoint. Oh and BTW he is MINE.

The push the pull between Cory and Natalie is Meghan Quinn perfection. And in a side of Jason Orson from The Lineup and his ridiculousness there was no way I wouldn’t love this book.

The humor, the heat, the way Meghan just makes you FEEL will have you wanting to both read faster to know what happens and slow down to savor it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for those book. Batter up baby!

Oh. My. GOSH! These baseball books from Meghan Quinn have been EVERYTHING, and she has gotten better and better with every single one. The Trade blew my mind in the best way possible, and I absolutely LOVED and ADORED the storyline and characters, as well as the author’s writing style and brilliant sense of humor. Meghan Quinn’s storytelling is unparalleled, and I am shamelessly addicted to her books and brand of romance. The Trade was a sexy, swoon-worthy, hilarious, and utterly entertaining standalone sports romantic comedy, and by far one of my FAVORITE Meghan Quinn novels to date!

The storyline and characters were PHENOMENAL. I loved the unique and intriguing plot and was riveted and addicted from beginning to end. Cory and Natalie were AH-MAZING, and I loved them with all of my heart and soul. Cory and Natalie had fantastic personalities and were incredibly lovable, had smoking hot chemistry together, and I loved all of their banter and interactions with each other. However, enduring the conflict was pretty heartbreaking, and I didn’t love that stretch of their story as much, but the conclusion was awesome and made me so pleased and happy.

Meghan Quinn knocked it out of the ballpark (pun intended) with The Trade, and this sexy, funny, highly entertaining, and insanely swoon-worthy standalone sports romantic comedy has definitely been a top favorite from this author, and I am so excited to devour more of her delicious and addicting love stories!

I have been DYING for Cory F****ing Potter’s book, and finally, it’s here! Cory Potter is everything I thought he'd be and then some. I’m telling ya, every girl needs a Cory. He’s sexy, witty, good looking, charming, sensitive, caring, romantic and oh so incredibly lovable. Meghan Quinn did something so magical with his story and I could not have loved this story more. She weaved this amazing tale that had me in my feelings. The Trade is a heartwarming, hilarious, a frustrating but wonderful slow burn that is SO worth the wait and is everything I love about Meghan Quinn’s books!

Cory and Natalie. Ahhh, these two. I loved them! They were just wonderful together. Their amazing chemistry and their banter, the ease of their conversations, interactions and connection was a joy to experience. Both had their own insecurities, vulnerabilities and stresses they were dealing with. Neither were not perfect and had their own personal flaws but together they found a way to lean on each other and make things work, though the road it took to get there was not easy. l absolutely loved them together, everything about them just fits together perfectly.

With her signature and not to mention impeccable comedic skill, Meghan Quinn crafts another delightful and warm addition to this wonderful series. The Trade deserves all the love and all the stars. I am still smiling after reading Cory and Natalie’s story. Meghan once again proves why she's on my list of Top 5 go to authors. I am forever in love with Meghan Quinn's stories. Her words and storytelling never fail to entertain me and bring joy into my life. With every single book she writes, it just gets better and better. Thank you Meghan for another fantastic book. (And for bringing Cory Potter into our lives!)

Each story in this “series” is unique but every single one captures our heart in the classic Meghan Quinn way ❤️
Pencil Cory Potter in as your new #1 book boyfriend! Do it now! This man could literally do no wrong! Jason is obsessed with him hahaha in the funniest way! A new bromance 👬.
I was so glad to be reunited with my favorite brother sister duo. Cory and Milly are literally sibling goals. Jason and Natalie also have a super special bond.
There was so much humor packed into this book. A lot of that had to do with the amazing Jason cameos 🤣.
Cory and Natalie’s story was like an intense game of tic tac toe. These toe literally tiptoed around each other. Jesus was the sexual tension and slow burn reallllll.
This relationship reminded me a lot of Milly and Carson. One that was so natural and we were lucky to be on the ride.

If forgoing a shower to read 'The Trade' by Meghan Quinn doesn't say she is one favorite authors, I don't know what does. Seriously y'all, I skipped a shower so I could devour 'The Trade' , and that says something because I am a shower as soon as I wake up person. I am glad to announce that skipping the shower was so worth it, because 'The Trade' was so amazing that I can barely put in to words how amazing it truly is. So I guess I will start from the most obvious, the cover.. Ummm Hello, < insert heart eyes>. Goodness, this cover is so yummy. Okay, okay now I will focus on the most important part; the inside!

CORY IS MINE! I SAID IT FIRST, I LICKED HIM FIRST. So now that I claimed ownership, I shall continue. I have been waiting for baseball God Cory's story since like.. FOREVER. I have loved him from his previous appearances in previous books. Meghan Quinn done something so magical with his story. She weaved this amazing tale that had me all up in my feels. I laughed with these characters, I felt with these characters but most importantly, I ached with these characters. There was an insane amount of depth, that just kept digging and digging that just done me in, I could not get enough, heck I still can't get enough. Even though it felt like Cory and Natalie's story was wrapped up nicely, I want more, heck I need more. I never want their story to end. Their story is just everything, they are everything. From the well plotted story line, to the very defined plot. From the previous characters to the present characters. I could just go on and on and it still wouldn't be enough. Meghan Quinn developed this story with such fine tuning it was impossible not to see the connection and chemistry between Cory and Natalie. It was something that grew so naturally, and Quinn done so, with so much patience and perseverance that this marks 'The Trade' my absolute favorite by this author.

Cory is by far my most favorite Hero EVER! He is nice guy, the dependable guy that has a heart that is usually not found in most men. He has so much patience and personality, that just does funny things to my heart. He puts the work in to be the best of the best. He is just amazing.

Natalie has every reason to be spiteful towards men, but she is not. She is pleasant and kind. Not afraid to make life what she wants it to be. A lover of ' The Office', and a heck of a protective streak. She is this insanely beautiful woman who values life, and all it has to offer.

All it takes, is one second, one minute to know your life is forever changed. Can Cory and Natalie ever be more than friends?

*I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK

Cory F*cking Potter...you rocked my world. What a sweet, strong, commanding type of man! I loved how he was the one who could take on any situation but this time it was a little more than he could handle. He had some lessons to learn...and so did Natalie. Natalie was also a sweet, lovely girl who was betrayed once before but looking for someone who appreciated all she had to offer. Such a perfect pair. But of course we have tons of angst. It wouldn’t be a Meghan Quinn romance without some issues to grow from. This book had me twisted up but hoping the next page would give my stud muffin some relief. So entertaining and swoonworthy and plain ol’ hot. Cory definitely was a role model for all baseball player book boyfriends. Yum.
