This novel by Dr. Richard tells how the world as we know it has been completely destroyed by the greed of others. However, it can be saved with the help of one man - Dr. Tim Smith. Dr. Smith was once the head of DARPA’s Quantum Teleportation Program and extensively studied the art of time travel. He shows that we must use tetrastatum to help restore humanity to its former state. While it might be possible, Dr. Smith must hurry to complete his mission before it’s too late.

Honestly I know of no other work to compare Tetrastatum with other than the heady fare of Frank Herbert’s writings. Tetrastatum is a story with a truly expansive plot line that is out of this universe (and
timeline). The author weaves a story together encompassing themes such as the ancient numerical occult, references to Stanley Milgram, Schödinger’s cat (the main character Dr. Smith actually has a cat named Ann- I won’t spoil the

A fascinating and immersing novel!

Author Dr Richard Conner (aka Dr Richard) earned his BA in physics from the University of California Fullerton and two PhD degrees – in physics from the University of California Irvine and in philosophy from the Claremont Graduate School. He has certifications in laser and optical design, fiber optics, computer programming, technology business development, dance, anatomy and physiology! This novel is about Tim Smith, a researcher at DARPA. He is working on a quantum teleportation system (instant travel to nearly anywhere), but things are not going so well. He is also having a very hard time dealing with the death of his wife and young daughter in a fiery car accident several years previously.

An early morning suicide attempt gets him a one-way trip to a mental hospital. Under electroshock therapy. Tim does his teleporting, but only in his mind. Among the places he visits is Univ

Science Fiction, Physics, Time Travel, alternate reality all meet up with action and adventure in this fast paced and thrill laced book. Our main character is Tim Smith who works for DARPA as a scientist researching the possibilities of Teleportation. His life isn’t the greatest, his family recently died, he has nothing to show for his work and the bosses are breathing down his neck for results. One rowdy night with his lover and a good bottle of scotch it hits him: everything he has been missin ...more

Tetrastatum: A Time Travel Thriller is unique as the authors, Dr. Richard and Tim Smith, use their impressive knowledge to write a novel to explain parts of their scientific theories their readers would not understand otherwise. I could not find information on Tim Smith, so I am unsure if it the fictional character in the novel that is contributing to the book. In the novel, Tim Smith is eager to show the world his work in thotonic and photonic. They save him from himself and put in an asylum. B ...more

This book is not for ordinary sci-fi reader. With many physics theory and hypothesis and about multiple timelines, this book rely heavily on technical terms. The plot is confusing, the character development also felt neglected.
At first it was intriguing, to know the background story of the scientist, Tim Smith, who experienced tragic yet cliche tragedy involving his family, but the story itself quickly moved on to how Tim ends up in an asylum then visiting several alternative timelines.

Overall, sci-fi lovers will find Tetrastatum a satisfying time travel adventure with just enough action, erotic locales, and tongue-in-cheek humor. But on top of all of this, Richards has also crafted a hard sci-fi novel doing what all the best science fiction does–it analyzes and critiques our current cultural sensibilities. This makes Tetrastatum not just a compelling read but an innovative one.

“No matter how loud I scream, no one answers. Only humming, buzzing, hissing white light continues into eternity mocking my torment in an image that expands out into desolate space-time in perpetuity”

Dr. Smith works on Darpa's Quantum Teleportation Project. Quantum Teleportation Device moves matter across space-time at speed exceeding that of light. Dr. Richard is the lead scientist of the Psychothotonix Quantum Image Processing Laboratory. They are working together with one goal in mind to make

This book is a fascinating sci-fi novel (heavy emphasis on the sci). This book takes you on a deep dive into the world of remarkable plausible scientific discoveries, including time travel.
It contains conspiracy theory mysteries, ala Dan Brown and the DaVinci Code, philosophical and moral history, world history, the fantastic (the great lost city of Atlantis), the confusing/unexplainable, and a hint of Christopher Nolan’s movie Inception. It is a book that makes you wonder what is reality and wh

Thrilling time travel experience

Tetrastatum is a wild time travel ride that takes you on the journey of Dr Tim Smith and his travels through time searching for a way to control the concept of time as a whole. There are some interesting travels that introduce you to places and people of the past along with some dominate members of the tribunal that will decide guilt or innocence. I found this book to very intriguing and complex. The story continued to draw me in and have me wanting more. I found

One of the best time travel books I have ever read, this is sci-fi at its best! Yes, some of the information was over my head, I am a dr but not in physics! It did not matter, it was such a fascinating story!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
