Our heroine tries to stay out of trouble and safe, but trouble seems to follow her and now it is time to put up or shut up. But she is not going down without a fight.

This is the fourth (and last) book in the series. Whereas this book can be read on its own, I strongly recommend that they be read in order as that will provide a much more memorable experience.

The story is very well written with a complex plot with lots of threads going on, as well as multiple twists and turns which keep you on you

It's a well crafted story with good action scenes and fleshed out characters. While I was interested to read it, I did miss Edtroka, an Adveni soldier who was in the first three books, and who offered the reader a deeper insight behind enemy lines. Because the book is from Georgianna's POV only, that lack of connection made it harder to see the Cahlven as anything but ruthless overlords. Olless, the supreme leader's partner, had more of a role to play in this book, but it wasn't enough for me to ...more

This is the 4th book and the end of a series. It's hard to write a review of this book when I didn't read the other three books. You really need to read the beginning stories to really understand this story. I gave it a three because I didn't get with the program with the first three books. This story did keep me reading. I liked the way the author writes. I really want to read the rest of the books so that I can understand this story. Don't let this review turn you off from the series. It was v ...more

When is a ring something more?
Georgianna is something else I love what happened between her group and the Cahlven and Adveni. Then, of course, we get a wonderful twist now what was Georgianna going to do and who is going to help her? This book brings a very satisfying ending to a very well-written adventure. I wonder what other goodies Chele Cooke will give her reader. This is a series I highly recommend I have enjoyed each book! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to re

I read the first book in the series and loved it but then I did not read the next two. Confusing but I did catch up and the book is so well-written with a wonderful story and characters. Hope to catch those middle ones and then I will reread this one.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
