About the author

Adam Hargreaves is an English author and illustrator. The son of Roger Hargreaves, he continues his father's popular Mr. Men series of children's books. Hargreaves also served as inspiration for the series. When at the age of six he asked his father "What does a tickle look like?", Roger used that question to create the first book, Mr. Tickle.

Un moment donné, les rédacteurs anonymes qui ont repris les rennes de la vache à lait éditoriale que représente la série des Monsieur/Madame se sont probablement dit : il faut arriver au XXIe siècle ! Tout ça pour dire que, dans le climat très hétéronormatif de la collection, Madame Invention est une heureuse anomalie. Elle est créative, brillante et méthodique, elle déborde d’énergie et d’initiative. Elle s’ingénie à faciliter la vie de tout le monde. Vous ne voulez plus vous lever pour vous empiffrer ? Madame Invention a une solution. Vous voulez une machine pour lire en diagonale le plus de livres possible, histoire de remplir votre Goodreads ? Madame Invention travaillera à votre bonheur. Vous voulez surveiller votre population en temps réel et vous assurer de son obéissance au régime ? Madame Invention bûchera nuit et jour à vous donner satisfaction. This book is called little miss inventor and of course she invents things. She invented something that makes dots where little miss dotty can paint lines of dots of course so she can leave a trail of dots where er she goes.
