Our story. Your story. Your neighbour's story. God's story. Life is an intricate tapestry of stories. How can we better understand other people's? How can we better express our own? How can a deep engagement with these stories be helpful to our life and witness, and on what occasions can they be unhelpful? This insightful new book by the 2019-20 President and Vice-President of the Methodist Conference explores these questions, and may be studied privately or in groups. Each chapter includes points for reflection, points for connection, and a suggested prayer.
Some food for thought. I think it would be better read as a group and discussed, rather than reading it individually as I did. I didn't really engage with the questions it asked but I enjoyed the prayers at the end of each chapter.
