On to Book 4!
The story remains exciting and the pace marches along quickly. I like that there’s very little “down time”; enough for characters to reflect and reason, but in this situation they find themselves, there’s little time for inaction. I will say this character’s story has an inevitability about it. And some readers will doubtless draw comparisons to the plot of The Stand or Swan Song, with their similar themes of good and evil armies drawing together across post-apocalyptic America. But ...more

Ripper Zombies
This series has been great! Once I started reading I could not put this book down!
This story was about zombies & the end of the world. Only they're called rippers . They still are gross, wanting to eat everyone and somehow these zombies are smart.The characters are great. Each book is about a character that is being called by a "blind angel"" in their dreams . There is also a shadow man. Your classic case of good vs evil. The storyline is very good. This continues with a different set of characters than in the first two books, still with a theme very reminiscent of "The Stand." However, I did not care much for Luke in this book, though it will be interesting to see how he assimilates with the other groups going south.

Whew. I thought I was going to have to wait for Book 4, but it just came out! This series is heavily influenced by Stephen King's The Stand, and I love it!
