Interesting mnemonic
I received this book through the Goodreads giveaway program. Unfortunately I couldn't read it, as it is not compatible with my old Kindle. I finally downloaded the app on my phone, and I gave it a whirl. It's a short book and I'll have to show it to a student to see if it's really helpful, but it was a little bizarre. I think it would be more helpful as a print book. ...more

This is a cute book for kids that teaches proper hygiene as well as how to solve long division problems. Sure, the book has a cute name, but it also serves an important purpose: it is a mnemonic to help remember steps in long division. Though he struggles a bit in the beginning, our main monkey finally 'gets it' with the help of a friend.

The book was a simple kids book about learning division while that is a great premise I did not the execution as much. The big factor here is the visuals are a bit too crude for my taste. In kids books one of the more important elements of a book should be visuals and for me this isn't feeling me in. ...more

I received a Kindle copy of this book from Goodreads Giveaways. The beginning was wordy and confused me about it's purpose. I thought "ugh", but once it started in on solving the division problem I felt it was quite helpful for kids struggling. Great time for this book to come out. Moms and Dads new to homeschooling... this book will help.

DNF. I don't usually do this, but I got really tired of the obtuse money spouting the title line. I'm a substitute teacher of HS math and this is confusing to me.
