Simply gorgeous work 10/10 ~
I love the art on all Cartoon Saloon movies so I grabbed this off the shelf right when I saw it (thank you local independent book store for stocking this)!
Almost all the art here shows the images used in the evolution of creating the characters, the background, and more. So while there are some images similar to the ones depicted in the film they are a small minority. A brilliant art book with a behind the scenes look at the process of the animation and creating the film. I esp loved the historical look back at where it was set and the overlay of the present. I also really liked seeing the first sketches and differen iterations before the characters reached their final form. A really enjoyable read.
An intriguing look at the process of an international indie animation studio. Tons of gorgeous Celtic-inspired art to marvel at.
I did a story analysis for a class this summer on this movie and used this book to get information about the animation process. Beautiful hand-drawn style. I'm obsessed!

A wonderful look into the art and process of creating an animated film.
This animation is absolutely amazing. I noticed so many details in the second and third re-watched that I got to read about in this book. Hats off to the team!
