THE LOVE MATCH was a solid three-star romance anthology. I liked the brief romances and it was a good introduction to authors that I have never read from before. If you enjoy the Regency era this book will fulfill your tastes.

Deborah Simmons THE NOTORIOUS DUKE
This was probably the best of the three short stories. Pagan, 'The Notorious Duke', was bored with everyone. A friend wagers him that he can't charm, with his good graces, Miss Scholastica Hornsby, a young woman who is a female philosopher.

Deborah Simmons is the author of twenty-five historical romances and novellas, published by Avon, Berkley, and Harlequin.
