This book had a lot of words that were difficult/unfamiliar for an early reader. My student, who reads at about 2 grade level, needed a lot of help. It's so condensed, without enough helpful pictures, that I think kids who haven't seen the movie may be a bit confused. Overall though a good job for fans of the movie who are fairly confident readers. I loved the movie, great story about a orphan who finds out he's got a great future and family ahead of him because he learns failure isn't a bad thing, as long as you learn from them and keep trying.
