Brief review. I played this opening based on this book for 20 years with excellent success at club and tournament level. Much of that was pre-internet, so when people faced an esoteric opening like this if they wanted to know more they had to go get a book. As a result, many people were surprised. However, with YouTube, they can go home and learn how to play against it the next day - or on their phones right after the game. Still, this book is a good look at the opening. I found most major variations were quite playable, though Soltis' suggestions against From's gambit I think need to be analyzed more. If I have time to study it, I might just transpose into the King's gambit.
