at least it does not show Lestat kissing his mommy on the mouth i've been thinking a lot about Lestat and choice. and how it seems up to this point in his life the only thing he did of his own volition is turning Gabrielle. i wonder whether that's why despite vampirism being a moral dilemma for Lestat, he revels in being a vampire so much because it gave him the power of choice (even if his turning was nonconsensual)
