Anna Lovind is a smart and radical feminist. She's also practical and loving. At first I almost did not purchase this book because I felt like we do not NEED more "doer's" in the world. However, her philosophy of doing comes from a place of fullness, rather than the typical advise of: "manage more, do more, be more productive, and also you gotta multitask version of doing—no matter what." I have read this book twice, and I will read it again. I adore her perspective on female creatives! We need us, thank you!

Masterfully written, The Creative Doer is indeed a guide for creative women. It is encouraging, sensitive, and also packs a punch and leaves you with zero excuses for not fulfilling your creative ambitions and dreams. This is a wonderful addition to any writer's tool belt ( alongside Natalie Goldberg, Julia Cameron, and Brenda Uleand to name a few). A must read for any creative woman.

The community that comes along with registering for the course, the Creative Doer, is heavenly although it exists here on Mother Earth.

The lessons learned in this is extraordinare but yet so natural and self-evident, I have finally found a creative place what I call home.

I have searched a life time for a serene and safe place like the community of the Creative Doer and sad to admit, I had left all my dreams and ambitions someplace else thinking it was not in my cards; creating a sustainable writing life.

I am beyond humbled, scared to death and I feel very much alive for the first time in more than two decades.

There are no words in the whole world to express my gratitude for what the three of you have created.

I think that my tears that are running down my cheeks this very moment are saying it all (you should all see me right now sitting at a seat in a train on my way home after my second shot against covid).

I am slowly lifting off the heavy weights that I have carried around on my shoulders thinking that there was something tremendously wrong with me and my way of thinking and being.

And it seems that there was nothing wrong with me. I was just with the wrong crowd.

I will honour the work and lessons learned through this course by becoming the very best writer that I can possibly be.

Initially I was uncertain as to whether I’d enjoy The Creative Doer, but I finished the book feeling motivated, enthusiastic and like I’d had a good talking to! A chat I very much needed - get on with it, don’t spend forever thinking, just do it! The right message at the right time.
