Oh, there's a beautiful ending to this series. Books like this should be written more.

This was such a cute series, I can't believe I am finished. I am so happy with where it ended, it was perfect. Even though I wanted more of their future, when they were older, I am still satisfied with the ending. It was everything I needed and I couldn't stop smiling.

When Futaba was in middle school, she had a hard time making friends. This was because a lot of boys in her grade liked her because she was cute. This led her to hate boys, except for one guy named Kou. Kou was a guy who was les ...more

THE END! i’m so sad it’s over, this was truly such a cute manga series that i now hold to my heart because it has so much growth between literally so many characters. i loved seeing Kou especially grow so so much! he was such an upset person in the very beginning, and then through new friends and a romance he became such a happy person. i love it. i love it so much!! It was such a bittersweet ending, i love that Futaba and Kou ended up together and that tiny scare in the end almost got me, i had

I really need to stop reading like 10 mangas in a day without rating them because then I forget what I was going to rate each one. So some of these volumes may have been less than 5 stars, I just don’t remember. Anyways, I finally finished Ao Haru Ride! When I read the first 2 volumes I thought this series might be my favourite series along side Waiting for Spring, but as I read on that wasn’t the case. While I did like the series, there were also a lot of things I disliked. The last volume thou

Kou and Futaba finally got themselves sorted out, so is there anything left to say? Not as much as you might think, but there are certainly a couple lingering things to take care of in the final volume of Ao Haru Ride!
Let me say this up front - I am definitely a fan of books that have their big confessions and then leave another volume for the newly minted couple to do couple things. It’s also nice that Kou and Futaba are not fundamentally different now, just being honest and open about their af ...more

This is an amazing shoujo series. I'd give the whole series about 4.5. Kou and Futaba are so cute together 😀.
The characters were so well developed throughout this series and I really got behind particular characters and events. The only thing I would have changed is the outcome of Shuko and Tanaka-sensei but the series wasn't about them and Kominato did grow on me towards the end and I wasn't bitterly disappointed at the inevitable outcome as did feel real and genuine (unlike the ending of Hirun ...more

Okay this volume is basically just a wrap up. I'm still disappointed about kikuchi, but it's fine. This was cute and the ending makes the most sense for the series. I really liked reading these even if I am a little disappointed.

This review is about all of the 13 volumes and was first published HERE where it's a part of my 2016 reading challenge.
I don't actually know why I occasionally enjoy these silly mangas of high school love and confessions and misunderstandings and love triangles or about harems and shenanigans but I do enjoy them and when I am not exactly sure what I'm in the mood for, I give another silly feel-good manga a shot. This one fits the bill quite perfectly.

This is such a gorgeous and beautiful manga novel, and I personally think this is the best shojo I've read though
I'm told it's quite a typical one.But nonetheless,it had such an
adorable and just lovable cast of characters.
There were those cutesy moments that made you wanna squeal like the little girl you are inside.

I can't believe this is the end of the story.
Although most of the volume is depressing, but the last 2 volumes finally make me happy.
So it's kind sad that this story ends already (๑•́︿•̀๑)

Agggh my heart! I will make a proper review for the whole volumes (1-13) of Ao Haru Ride. I need to sleep first! Haha
*****SPOILERS AHEAD*****
All in all, this was a nice way to end the series. We got a lot of cute moments between Futaba and Mabuchi and Murao and Kominato becoming a couple was definitely worth the wait. Only reason why this is three stars is that my heart didn't squee as much as I thought it would considering this is the final volume. Overall though, not a bad ending at all.

A super cute end to the series, though I do wish the friends had gotten more page time. Aya is still super cute and adorable :) I also wonder what happened with the class rep thing... it just kinda went away, even though they are second years until this volume.
I love Futaba saying that todays Kou is her favorite, and tomorrow tomorrows Kou will be her favorite. It was super cute :) This is one that will make you smile alot!

I wanted to save my review for the last volume. So dear friends, this manga series was so cute and refreshing and pure that it opened up my heart. I think I got to learn a bit more about love and its timing. It is all around you and you can touch it with both of your hands and all your ten little fingers. So go for it and do not waste a second.
i absolutely fell in love with this series, the ending was honestly amazing. i love the fact that they overcame their traumas and such and helped each other not knowing one liked the other. the ending was beautiful, and kou’s character development throughout the book brought me joy knowing that people can change in the best way possible. overall i would re-read this series just to experience the obstacles futaba and kou went through. i love this series!!
This series was excellent! So much that I'm sad that it ends...However, I am very happy with the ending, it was perfect. I will recommend this series to everyone. The characters are all awesome and endearing. This series also made me smile a lot! This series makes you believe in love.
