Demon Slayer just ramps up their shit because holy fuck it is going DOWN.

This right here is the Endgame. Right before we get into it we get to see the training and it's a decent ending to show how far the boys have come. BUT then Muzan walks right up to Kagaya and is ready to murderer the leader of all the Demon Slayer Corp. Is it a trap? Well fuck it doesn't matter because Muzan shows why and how powerful he is here as the entire Demon Slayer corp unleashes their attacks on him. Then we get a

Another awesome volume for an awesome series.

There were a lot of little things that I liked, like Giyo and Tanjiro trying to formulate a strategy to get on Genya's brother's good side (can't wait to see how that goes lol) and Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tanjiro getting some time together. Also, Zenitsu's reaction to the letter he received was chilling, he was so calm. I get the feeling badass Zenitsu's going to be making an appearance soon, which I'm hyped for! Let my boi shine more, he deserves it!

And with this volume I have one very important thing to say... They're all F***ED.

I mean sure, Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu are all clearly much stronger, there's the progress made with Nezuko and there's a bunch of Hashira on hand but uhh... Nope. They're all screwed.

Nice to know these characters while they lasted I guess... o.o;;

The training has finally ended. It was a lot of fun! Now, it's time for the epic battle between the Demons and the Slayers. I hope Gotouge won't extend the storyline more than necessary 'cos I can see the end is approaching near.🤞

Lots of tears, sweat and eating, I would love a strong female character that is not a daemon. Lots of backstory in this instalment.

The volume starts off as a training arc, which is enjoyable. But the ending is what gets this to 5 stars. The climactic moment. Like a nuke just dropped in the middle of the story. This feels like the beginning of the end.

Well, we resolved the last training-arc of the series and the final battle is upon us. The original Japanese publication of this series finished this year, but the last Japanese volume of this is not until December 2020, and the official English translation won't be done until the middle of next year (hopefully we'll have a functioning COVID-19 vaccine by then). Tanjiro get's his last training by the Stone Hashira and just in time, because Muzan makes his move and the whole Demon Slayer Corps is ...more

4/5 Stars (%81/100)

The Hashira Training Arc ends with Tanjiro trained by the Stone Hashira Himejima. We also learn more about his past and it is great to see that he is like a big brother to Tanjiro and the boys just like Tanjiro. In this way, I think they carry similar qualities. In this volume, the relationship between Muzan and the Ubuyashiki family is revealed. After a showdown between the two, the Final Battle Arc finally starts. This arc is actually split into two: Infinity Castle Arc and

A great, trickling build-up of anticipation and tension, this volume has (presumably) launched the final arc of this highly enjoyable battle Shonen. It does so with as much creativity and awesome fights as Koyoharu Gotouge can muster. I could definitely, however, do without the evil monologues from the demons. I've grown tired of hearing the "Humans are weak and filled with meaninglessness because they can die" line, and I wish Gotouge would conjure up something a little more satisfying. Otherwi ...more

Interesting plot building, but it felt like there was some sort of... gap. The beginning was rough, but there was definitely some plot development. I really liked Doma as a character so far. I think he's going to be my new favorite demon.
I only rated this down because of how rough the beginning of the volume was. Minus the first 2 chapters, this volume was super solid.

As much how sad I am about Ubuyashiki-sama, I salute him for his plan, and here it is again the undying worry I have for every chapter, like TAMAYO CAME AND OH MY GOD!!!

And I think this is the start of another breathless reading.
