The story’s starting to feel a little dragged out at this point tbh, I’m still enjoying it and it’s fun to read but I feel it coulda been condensed a few vols! Some parts were a little confusing too.

Damn this was a great fucking volume too. Got the end of the last fight which is a lot more depressing than expected, have our lightning boy not playing around anymore, and Giyu and Tanjiro working together to kill one of the strongest demons ever. In other words, this volume is fantastic and I can't say much more without spoilers. A 5 out of 5. ...more

I have a polarizing relationship with this story. Had I read it when I was 15, I think I would have loved it. And if I look at that through that lens, I see the potential for all the glory and hype. However, now I see the potential, can appreciate it in the current genre but that doesn't mean the mistakes are just magically gone.

Demon Slayer is fun, no denying that. But it lacks good pacing and better story decisions. Characters are interesting and they die, which is great but it's not enough. I

Happy Halloween folks!! (To think that the actual scariest day of this year is actual three days from now.)

No better book to read on this day than one of the best horror manga of the new century. We are in the middle of the final battle and as usual no easy victories are allowed to come here. We lead this volume off with a devastating lost for the demon slayers, but we don't linger on it for to long because we are actually visiting multiple fronts of the battle and getting in more back-story on

As far as weight and impact goes, this is one of the most epic arcs in Demon Slayer so far. Taking in the end of the last volume and the content of this volume, SO much insane stuff happens. It truly feels like a final confrontation between good and evil. A battle for the whole of mankind.

Fight After Fight & All Of Them Have Such Interesting Dynamics, Some Of Them Still Going On & I'm Looking Forward To Seeeing How They Go, Especially How They Were Left Off In This Volume
One Of The Fights In This Volume Involved Zenitsu, If You Havent Read The Previous Volume There Was Something That Came Over The Usually Cowardly Demon Slayer & In This Volume You Find Out What & I Have To Say Wow, Its Such A Good Step Forwad For Him.
From The Final Chapter It Seems There Will Be A Big Breakthroug

The battle in the dimensional fortress continues!

And (view spoiler) dead but uhh... at least they're the only "good guy" to go so far? (There's gonna be more though, aren't there? ._.)

Got to see a bit of Zenitsu and his growth (both as a character and as a fighter) in this volume, the reappearance of Yushiro, an ongoing battle with Giyu and Tanjiro against their own opponent, and even Nezuko is fighting a battle of her own!

No real glimpse at Inosuke so far though... wond

Aaaand so begins the death count for the Hashira. Fucking dammit, I don't want them to die! But realistically I know that at least some of them will die, but fuck realism I want my babies to live!!

I can say one thing with absolute certainty-I can't FUCKING WAIT for them to animate this final arc. All of the fights are going to look so fucking cool and badass, it's gonna be a feast for the eyes!

I was a little disappointed that Zenitsu's fight was so short, but the character development, backstory

5/5 Stars (%87/100)

Although I enjoyed it a lot, this volume is also all over the place with many people fighting in different places at the same time. The author also keeps showing more memories of the characters and though they are pretty interesting, it looks like he is trying to drag the story and prepare us for the big finale. Shinobu and Doma's fight is one of the most interesting battles in the series as well as Zenitsu meeting his senpai once again. However, the one fight that we were all

Thunder breathing is my favourite breath style so that Zenitsu, the only user seen thus far can only utilize the first form always struck me as very sad but now-

Gotouge is a genius who I never should’ve doubted.

Thunder is still the BEST and this volume was incredibly charged (no pun intended) and I liked that two of the chapters were named after deadly sins (Wrath and Pride)

Chapter 146 is one of my all time favourites and has not once failed to make me cry.

So in the previous book, Zenitsu received a letter brought to him by his messenger bird, (view spoiler)

I love how the pillars are seeing Tanjiro's improvement and changes. And so as the demons. No longer the newbie, but his power and strength can be compared to that of a pillar.

And wow, the revelation regarding Kaigaru and his connection with Zenitsu and the Himejima-san's temple.

this volume made it lucid that everything was over for us bitches. i mean, look, thunder breathing seventh form. “you’re my pride & joy, zenitsu.” the giyu & tanjiro tandem v. akaza, aka the hottest upper moon. kanao/shinobu v. douma (i hope this latter jackass gets poisoned so good he melts into himself, fuck you your very existence is unconstitutional). at this rate i’m gonna fuck around and die of overstimulation

While this volume is primarily action, it is easily one of best releases of this series. Exhilarating, exciting, and filled with satisfying payoffs, Gotouge is creating the final arc of this series with so much finesse that I feel like an ass for doubting his ability to weave everything together. He actually got me to like Zenitsu. That is truly an accomplishment worth noticing. Do yourself a favor and join the rest of the fans of this series as we march forward to this series' climax. ...more

This was epic and I can foresee that things are about to be getting even better! I really loved Zenitsu's fight scene because we finally got to see him as something other than a comic relief character. We also get a rematch with the demon from volume 8. We are getting to see the results of all of Tanjiro's training and I am so proud of him. He has really come a long way. ...more

The development of the abilities feels natural, but still has a feeling similar to Bleach. No wonder people suggest this book so much. It's really uplifting to see Tanjiro inherit, internalize, and utilize training to such an amazing degree. I can't waiting to keep reading! ...more
