In The Ghost Of Firefly Lane, we continue reading about the adventures of Pekin Dewlap and her best friends / coworkers, Amber and Scout. At the end of the first book, they got a new client. The Dwyers have hired them to get rid of a female ghost who constantly cries as she searches for her baby. The kids come up with a plan to stay in the house while the couple goes on a week-long cruise. During their s ...more

A smart, funny, engaging story that appeals to the young and young at heart. I loved following Pekin and her crew as she tried to "bust" this sad, sad ghost. Looking forward to the next installment of this well-written series.

A fun paranormal mystery, that brings to mind Lockwood & Co. as three crime solving teens set out once again to solve a case! I really enjoyed this one as well as the first, and look forward to reading more of this series!

The Lovable "Ghosties" are back!
The second book in the Pekin Dewlap Mystery series is wholesome and fun. Not as much action as in the first book, but the banter between Pekin and her friends Amber and Scout is just as adorable. In this book, the trio have a new paranormal mystery to solve with the help of ghost whisperer Mildew and some assistance from the other side. This series is a breath of fresh air for the teen paranormal genre, as we see teens actually acting like teens. The book is fast ...more

Pamela McCord continues the adventures of Pekin Dewlap and her friends, Scout and Amber, from their first mystery, The Haunting of Elmwood Manor. These are standalone stories, but the author cleverly gives glimpses back at the previous tale as “The Ghosties” use their experience for this new case.

The holiday season is upon us and this book appears just in time for the shopping that your kids and grandkids need. If they've been good, they'll be delighted with the adventure tale with kids as heroes who dabble in the hereafter. While there's mild fright, as befits the topic, there's also a touch of young love as well as abiding friendship.
If your kids and/or grandkids have been naughtier than you appreciated, the trio of 'Ghost Buster' pals model extraordinary kindness, tenacity, and proble ...more

Pam started writing later in life when an author friend challenged her to create a book from his story idea. Being a never-say-never person, she met the challenge and managed to finish an entire novel, much to her surprise. Since that beginning, she's written several books, in several genres. Romance, middle grade and paranormal comprise most of her work. Pam has spent over forty years working as
