i read this book as part of an arc program. I liked this romantic suspense between Gigi and Duke. Gigi was one of three daughters her father had, but they didn't grow up together and Gigi was not close to her father. When her father dies, Gigi and her sisters travel to the tropics for his funeral and when Gigi is leaving, she is kidnapped. Her father was extremely wealthy and now the daughters will inherit everything. When Gigi realizes something is wrong, she is rescued by Duke, her father's former bodyguard and a former Navy SEAL. Duke takes Gigi and will not answer any of her questions, only tells her she is in danger and has to go with him. Gigi doesn't know who to trust and decides to go with Duke until she can get free. When it seems danger is getting closer, Gigi realizes Duke might be her only hope. There is an attraction between Duke and Gigi and the more Duke fights his feelings, The harder it gets. Soon they think they have a safe place to wait things out and they give into their feelings. I liked this book, i liked Duke and Gigi together. I only wish Duke would have explained things a little more in the beginning. There was a great connection between Gigi and Duke. I like how they fought together and protected each other. Good one, i will be reading the books about the sisters and their stories.

There was a lot of suspense in this novel. I literally could not put this book down. Turn all the chilling and discussions about Jerome I am still left wondering what was he into. Now I'm left wondering What was the gender of Gigi and dukes baby.
