I was a little uncertain about reading this one when I read the blurb. The Instagram obsession made me think that the main character will be immature. However, the book started out strong. The main character mentioned Instagram a couple of times, but her main thing was hashtags in her head so she didn't seem quite so immature. As I mentioned above; the book started out strong but slowly because less. And this was all because of the relationship between Maisy

So quick rundown- in this book we have Maisy, our main character, who is drunk and partying on her 21st birthday when she takes a dare to climb up to a seemingly haunted cave.
While on the climb she cuts her hand, and inside the cave she accidentally unleashes the Titan of all Titans Cronus. Now finding herself bound to the big ole battle god she has to stick to him like glue and try to keep them from both being killed by the other Greek gods....and to possibly try and stop the

I didn’t love it. And it hurts me to say that because I absolutely love these authors. The storyline is good, the slow burn romance is frustratingly ok, the characters could be better. I’m sorry I wasn’t that big of a fan of the main female lead. Way too many hashtags where it just comes off as annoying, shallow, and young. I felt like they tried to make her image a little on the shallow side throughout and then peppered her with courageous characteristics where it made her seem like there

Wow. Okay. So...

A really enjoyable book, with a nice blend of magic, mythology, romance and action.

The Plot: Maisey is a girl who is a massive social media star, and she aspires to expand her social media influence. After a dare from her friends, she explores a cave they said was scary or haunted or whatever, and her blood accidentally freed a Titan from the cave where he was trapped. His name was Cronus, and he wants to take revenge on the Greek gods for killing and imprisoning his family.

Sometimes I don't read a book's blurb or check its tags. That's how I ended up reading half of this book thinking this was going to be the first book in a reverse harem series. In my defense, this cover screams RH so you know... it's not my fault ahah. When I found out it was a MF romance, I was a little disappointed but I was enjoying the ridiculousness of this book.

I have to say, if the main character would stop mentioning the "gram" or hashtags at every page, that would be lovely. Because ye

Interesting premise but too fast-paced and too many f-ing hashtags.

The hashtags made me feel like the book was juvenile and lowered my reading experience. Also what normal person thinks in so many hashtags?!

I would have also liked the pace of the book to have been slowed down so that the build of the relationship between the main characters was more fleshed out. This would have also given Maise more time to have genuine emotions. There was no real emotional struggle in the book. There was no s

These two authors together!! I freaking loved this!! Maisy is snarky and funny. She cracked me up the whole time. I loved her. What a cliffy, but a I cannot wait for book two!!

Let this book be a lesson to other authors: if you fill your pages with trendy shit, it does. not. age. well.
It literally took me one day to read this book. It was just THAT good! I totally got sucked away from reality and immersed in an incredible world that did potential cause my heart pain but all in all it was FANTASTIC! So No complaints... So if you want that to happen for yourself go and get yourself a copy. I know the release day says not until December but the ladies brought that date right in and I believe its coming out the 2nd November!!

Now onto the harder stuff…one thing I learnt after read

Mythology meets blonde bimbo.

This is the first book by Jaymin & Leia that I almost stopped reading. I just couldn't stand Maisey, she was too stupid. When you hit halfway through the book she suddenly gets smarter. She isn't so shallow. I loved that Cronus was finally shown as more than a tyrant. He had feelings & was more relatable. Some of the hashtags were funny. I have heard so much hype on this book that I thought I'd love it. Unfortunately, it was a big let down. I won't even be reading t

This book is ridiculous... and yet, oddly engrossing.

I quite liked Maisey. She was ridiculous lol. But oddly endearing.

This got a little slow towards the halfway point.

He tipped his chin up. “I’m a Titan. I have more power in my hand than Zeus has in his whole body.”
A grin pulled at my lips. “Your dick just got bigger as you said that, didn’t it?”

The cover is absolutely stunning!

Loved the humor with the hashtags.
Loved Maisey's voice.
A fast-paced read with a lot of delicious Cronus.
I hope to never meet a person who speaks in hashtags.

Releasing the Gods wasn't a bad book but it wasn't an absolute favorite either. In it, you will meet Maisy and she has the hopes and dreams of becoming an Instagram influencer. Eh, well, she did until she ran into a little problem. Cronus.

Now he just happens to be a Titan who was trapped in a cave. Somehow she frees him and got tethered to him. At this point, we don't really know what happened or what's going to happen. We do know that people

Holy cannoli! I loved this book. If I could give it a rating of more than five stars I would. I’ve actually been waiting to read this book since it first came out but I wanted to wait for the rest of the saga before starting. I’m horrible with cliffhangers and this has a good one. I’m starting the next book as soon as I finish this review.

I absolutely LOVE a good book that is about gods, goddesses, Titans, etc. I also enjoy a good twist and modern take on the classic mythology stories. This boo

It’s okay.

I like the story and the back and forth, but the # crap is annoying more than anything. There is a point where you get one on each page. If it was a once in awhile thing I could ignore it, but I feel like it’s just this annoying thing hanging over a good story.

The story itself starts off fast and sort of “meh” but it does admittedly get better by the half way point of the book. Good enough to make me want to read part two.

This book blew away any expectations that I had going into it. It was absolutely phenomenal! Not only was it funny, a great escape and an epic adventure, it was also very heart-felt. These authors really created a gem with this book and I am really looking forward for book two!

This book starts with Maisy climbing up a cliff to a cave for a dare. Once up there, she accidentally opens up a portal that releases a imprisoned Titan. This supernaturally chains them together and Maisy gets entangled in

#GodsAreHot #SorryNotSorry

Two of my favorite authors team up to create a funny, if fast, modern tale of historical proportions. We’ve got Titans, Greek gods, the fates and a millennial who really just wants to reach those 100k followers on the ‘Gram. Cute, funny and timely.

- Funny!
- She’s immature and flighty, but there is sooo much more to her.
- The Titans are hot.
- Hashtag heaven.
- Pop culture galore... bit annoying.

- The hashtags... I laughed, I got annoyed.
- Where do these em

Jaymin and Leia have done it again!!! This duo is seriously THE BEST!! I love everything they’ve ever written together and separately!
Maisey is my new favorite FMC she is tough and strong willed and seriously so fun!
I loved all the hashtags and thought they were a fun addition to an amazing story! Cronus was interesting and I loved having him in the story! This take on Greek mythology has made me fall in love! I cannot wait for the second book to see where they go from here! Read this if you k

i just found this book on it´s release day on a accident and i just started reading and got caught in it until i finished it. Before i started to read it, i was in a reading slump and i had a hard time getting into books, either they where just not having my interest or i just got bored or something at the beginning. But i think this book got me out of the slump hopefully

This book is amazing. The main character Maisey is hilarious and so very typical modern day 20 something with all the #hashtags. Loved it. Great read and I can not wait for the next book I need me some more titans!

I admit, the cover captivated me. It’s unique, gorgeous, and mysterious. I’ve read several books from each author and was thoroughly psyched for this collaboration. From the beginning, the book read like it was designed for younger generations, and mind you, I’m in my 30’s, so I don’t even consider myself that old, so that’s saying something. The hashtags are overwhelming, and even when they’re not, you see parts where you start second guessing why there isn’t one in there and if they toned it d ...more

I can understand why some reviewers would have a problem with the main character. Maisey is a conundrum. She can be shallow and self-absorbed, caring about getting the best shot of her body for her Instagram, but she can also be selfless without thinking twice about it. Which is the weird part. If she can be selfless without doubt, then why are the authors trying to make me think she's a stupid, dumb blonde who only cares about how many followers she has? And that's another thing. When there is ...more

Can we talk about that gorgeous cover?!? It is absolutely beautiful! I have been eyeing this book for awhile and I finally listened to it on audio. It was a fun, and fast paced read! So much happens in the first book that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was never boring to me. I’m not sure which of the authors is the hashtag queen but those # when they popped out of Maisy were hilarious. Then you cue in #HotGod into the picture and whoa. I truly enjoyed the spin of The Greek gods, Titans, the gram, ...more
