A poetry anthology of those who have remained unspoken for too long.

Who have silenced their hearts and souls--for better and for worse--and now want to break free and be heard, without harming others.

There is healing in the storm and growth in rain-tears. And always, always a way forward.

No matter what.

This anthology was entirely unplanned at the start.

Writing poetry regularly was unplanned.
Testing out a pen name was unplanned.
Closing down that pen name to own the hard, vulnerable unique words I was sharing? Totally unplanned.
Actually daring to self-publish an anthology? Nope, not on the schedule.
Having that self-publication be my final release this year? Hah!

Except all of that happened. And the anthology I never planned on writing, the feelings I never planned on sharing, the conversation I

Small, but beautiful and powerful. Poetry is proof that a few words can hold the power to impact hearts.

As I read more and more raw poetry, I'm finding that it's one of my favorite art forms. Through the rawness of the poet on the page, the hearts of the reader and author connect. Poetry is such a powerful medium and Janeen Ippolito is an artist of the highest measure.

I liked the last section the best. All were good, but I think I tend to react to happier emotions more. I don't really know poetry well enough to say anything helpful here, but I found them tasty word snacks. ...more

I admit poetry is a challenge for me. I'm a bit of a speed reader. That's a problem because, speed reading poetry is like speed walking through an art museum. You get flashes of meaning but you don't enjoy much.

Poetry forces me to slow down and really focus on the words. I actually read this anthology through twice, to take in the beauty of the words and to ponder various meanings. I do struggle with my own form of depression. I usually self medicate with fiction. And while escaping into new wor

As a reader, there’s a delicate beauty to experiencing soulful emotions in verse, and, as a poet, a brave feat to release them into the world. This collection of brief poems offers a transparent view of thoughts and emotions with hope.

Small but mighty

This isn’t a long, thick book... but it’s solid. And the contents are special. I’m not a poetry reader. But these... well, these are special. And they resonate.
