Jude is divorced, dealing with ex-wife woes while he tries to have a relationship with Raven. She's a recovering addict, with no support from her family due to her relationship with Jude. Besides these emotional issues, there are family secrets, traditions, and tribal politics to be dealt with. I really enjoyed this book, as I have the others from this author, appreciating the insight into the her culture.

I've read several books written by Maggie Blackbird; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the characters.

Renewed is the fourth book in the Matawapit Family series and is an emotional read.

This has been a wonderful series (I have only missed the first in the series) and I love the story of Jude and Raven and their fight for a life together. This story is well written and emotional, with secrets, traditions, family issues, vengeance, and love.

I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
