This book is a joke. It's more of a guide to "How to use Facebook" than a book that will tell you anything about how to actually market a business on Facebook. Go check out a few blogs on social media marketing and you'll learn way more and not spend a dime.

Very easy read. Would not suggest for anyone that is very familiar with Facebook already. Some of the content is already out of date.

This might have been a decent book about 10 years ago or for someone new to Facebook (if there are any people new to Facebook left). I didn't learn anything new unfortunately.

When many people think about Facebook, they tend to think of a social network for the younger generation. They assume that Facebook is just a glorified chatroom. Therefore, when doing social marketing, most businesses focus on MySpace and Linked In.

Facebook Marketing states that businesses that exclude Facebook in their social marketing are missing out on important opportunities. There re countless ways that individuals and companies can be noticed, without spamming. If done properly, social networking and even advertising on Facebook can provide a good deal of promotion for any business.

Facebook Marketing takes the entrepreneur through the process of setting up a Facebook account and then making the best use of the network’s applications. It also gives information on how to advertise on Facebook. Throughout the book is advice on best practices and how to assure that you won’t be accused of spamming.

This book is a great beginners guide to facebook and the tools available to use for marketing. It does not, however, prescribe how to use facebook to market. If you are looking for a book on marketing suggestions, statistics, etc. this is not the book for you. This book captures the essentials of facebook tools and explains them in a very easy to understand fashion. I would definitely recommend this to those that are just starting out on facebook or have not utilized all of facebook's functionality. You will learn a thing or two.

A very basic step by step guide to Facebook and an introduction to marketing. If you are at all familiar with Facebook this book won't help you much. Some good basic information in the second half of the book but very broad and not deep enough in my opinion.

This is a BASIC guide to Facebook... not a comprehensive study of all the intricacies of Facebook...but it's simple and easy to follow.

I would call this Facebook 101 for beginners.

Had some okay information, but not enough for me to read the entire book. I lost interest less than halfway through, and I do this stuff for a living.

I was afraid this might already be outdated and it totally is...what a difference a year makes!

Provides simple screenshots and step-by-step instructions for creating and maintaining a Facebook page. Not as helpful if you're already familiar with Facebook.

Facebook changes so quickly that most of this book already seems out of date. Print books will never be able to keep up. Unless you know nothing about Facebook, this edition isn't much help.

The content already out date.
I think this book not about marketing on facebook. It more like a guide about "how to use facebook".
