Wow, where do I even start?! Adelaide does it again, delivering a book that will give you ALL THE FEELS, but also leave you with a lot of food for thought, (as the saying goes.) Apparently my reviews for Ads' books are LONG so I'll try not to gush too much, but, *ahem* we shall see!

This book is just a smidge unlike her other two. It's fast paced from the get-go, packs a punch, and rarely lets up. There's also a good smattering of memory-hopping. (If you don't know what the means, then you haven'

This was such an exciting conclusion to a unique, fascinating YA sci-fi/adventure series! Something awesome about this series is that I can highly recommend it for families with older children that want to be able to enjoy a book together (read aloud or on audiobook) without having to worry about inappropriate material or anyone getting bored. Thorne does a tremendous job of creating stories that are wholesome without sacrificing the sort of elements that give you thrills and chills. I also real ...more

Adelaide Thorne is a storytelling genius.

This series totally won me over from book one. The Trace, The Integer, and The Anamnesis are incomparable to one another; they're all ridiculously amazing. This is an incredible conclusion to an incredible series.

The characters have grown TREMENDOUSLY from book one. Ella is still our beloved Ella Kepler, the protean Fallow, but now armed with new knowledge about everything, including the MTA's past. The

I truly loved this book. Thorne does an amazing job of wrapping up this series in beautiful and surprising ways, which caused me to stay up way too late reading just "one page more". All of the twists and turns of the entire series keep the plot exciting and moving forward, and the characters make you fall in love with the story (heartaches, friendships, loyalty, betrayals, love 😭). I want to pick up book 1 and start all over again! Highly recommend!!

What a way to go out with a bang! Thorne's final installment of "Whitewashed" is a must-read. All questions are explained, your heart is broken, and the ending leaves you on the edge of your seat!

My favorite part to this book was the progression/regression of a certain character (whom I shall not name to save spoilers). His arc kept me on my toes and made my heartache. I love this particular character and his internal journey made me appreciate him even more.

There were times where I thought the

Where do I start? Once upon a time, I did a fun experiment where I read the first two in this trilogy in a different order than how they were released, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. This book is more than I imagined it could be: a beautiful wrap up to all the things unknown and still waiting to be answered. Adelaide does an incredible job at weaving together a story in which you literally cannot take in fast enough. And yet, I wanted it to be slow because I knew this was the end. I’ve never ...more

I always have a love/hate relationship with the last book of a series!! I have fallen in love with all the characters and hate to see them go... but I NEED TO KNOW how everything comes together. Then I close the book... pick up the first book... and start over ;)

This final book was a doozy. We get to know Kara much better (finally!), see Banks' softer side? (yes, he DOES have one!), more Ethella moments (but also moments you just want to punch Ethan), find out what's up with Leader *cough* and B

The Anamnesis broke my heart then put it back together. I was extremely excited when I received the PDF file in my email, but I was scared too. Both The Trace and The Integer were amazing books with complex, yet reasonable plots. When I laid my eyes one the first chapter, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed... And I wasn't. The Anamnesis not only wraps up questions brought up by the first two books, but it also gives new background information that serves as a new string in the rope that is this t ...more

Picking up this book after previously having taken part in the author's "experiment" (reading the first two books in chronological order rather than the story order), was interesting. This book deals a lot with the frustration and anger that the characters feel after having realized that they have been lied to and manipulated their whole lives. And that frustration might have informed my experience reading this, had I not read this series in the order it took place, so that at no point was I lef ...more

So satisfying . I put it off for a while cause I was scared she was going to break my heart and she did . In the most unexpected way. But then she tied it up so nice that I forgive her ....sort of ...still mad about that one big part. And loved hearing the audio for this one . Love these characters and what a ride. I never reread books but this series begs for it. Whatcha writing next ? I’m in!

After her stick figure comic series “The Adventures of The Unstoppable” failed to garner any fans, Adelaide Thorne accepted that drawing would never be her superpower. She also accepted that she was not, after all, The Unstoppable. Twelve-year-old Adelaide never forgot the thrill of adventure, however, and the mystery of heroes, powers, and a bad guy who maybe is only bad because he feels stuck. O ...more
