I am in no way an artist, but I know what I like: Representational art. You can keep your Rembrandt and Picasso -- I’ll stick with Charles Russell and the Wyeths and others like them. In fact, I generally prefer illustration to “fine art” and that’s where Hunt got his start, laboring in London art agencies, designing packaging and advertising campaigns, and finally moving into book covers. Shelves: gifts, sea, art
This lovely book was a gift for my birthday last summer, and with Christmas fast approaching, which with any luck will bring me something new to read, it seemed a good idea to pick Hunt's portfolio up again and move it off that 'currently reading' pile.
