I really liked this story!!
Aletha and Rafael meet on a train and in the course of their separate journeys get to discover that love can indeed be found in the most unexpected place and time! Especially since it is close to Christmas when magic and miracles can become a natural occurrence!! I liked how while this is still a historical romance the author does not take us as far back into the past as we usually get to experience.

Short and Sweet!
I would have wished for this story to have been longer. There was so much going for it and yet it is good as it is - what do they say, ah, "short and sweet".
I like the depth of the characters - all of them even the twins and Aletha's obnoxious brother.
Raphael was just yummy.
I'm not a fan of a duo of narrators but these two were good.

I truly enjoyed this short book about unexpected love. Aletha has suffered all her life of bot receiving enough respect due to being woman. Her family's goal for women was just get married and be nice wife. She wanted more of her life...respect and responsibility in her family business. Although when she meets stranger on train her thoughts wander to live and marriage. Little does she know that she will meet him again.
The narration was fabulously done and I loved both voice actors. ...more

Book four in the Miracle Express/Marsden Descendants series it is well written with a very good storyline the story flowed smoothly from page to page. This is Aletha Dewitt and Rafael, Conte Leone's story and there meeting on a train from Bristol to London, not knowing they are going to be staying in the same home. Her brother Christian was a real pain. I want to read more of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Aletha is an American debutante and Rafael is an Italian Lord who meet on a train and end out finding love. This is a well written romance story about two people who meet unexpectedly changing their lives forever. Another great historical romance by a great author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

USA TODAY Bestselling author, DAWN BROWER writes both historical and contemporary romance. There are always stories inside her head; she just never thought she could make them come to life. That creativity has finally found an outlet.
