When I first picked up this title, I wasn't sure what to expect. The content/trigger warning, which was very much appreciated, promised some dark subject matter. Poetry is a wonderful vehicle with which to unpack some of the darkest recesses of the mind, and I thought this would be no different. And in reality, it wasn't. The author took us to dizzying heights and terrifying lows in a chapbook collection of
