Leo has a little problem, okay a big problem. He's one of the unluckiest people you will ever meet. That's probably why he can't hold down a job to save himself, and has to deliver for a food delivery app to make ends meet. At least if he works for himself he doesn't have to worry about hurting anyone, including himself. You see, Leo is one of those adorably clueless peopl ...more

The best thing about this? The cover. Very nice. I thought it might be some steampunk kind of thing but sadly it's not. It's a clumsy boy who can barely take care of himself meeting and falling in insta love with a local mechanic. Said mechanic has some sad story of his own. The elements of this could've made a good story, if told in a different, less chatty way. Disappointing. ...more

This was kind of all over the place and there were things that, to me, didn’t makes sense. So Leo is what, twenty-something, a nusing school drop out and, by his own (and his parent’s) admission, a menace to society. So sure, the parents just up and move to Florida and leave him behind. So what does said menace do, since he can’t handle nursing school? He spends his days driving around in a poorly maintained vehicle delivering food orders. Then when he meets Billy, it’s insta-love until but for ...more

I have read this before. It is one of the reviews that are gone after I left Goodreads for awhile. I have arrived at the line that cracked me up on the first read. Leo is touring the room he might rent in the big, old Victorian house: ‘With its position on the front. Inside the Tourette. I always wondered how the builders made a room with round walls.’ Hilarious editing mistake with the use of that instead of ‘turret’ room.
I am rereading, but I think I remember enjoying this book.

It's sweet and simple

Leo is sweet as pie, wouldn't hurt a soul and has all the coordination of a newborn giraffe. Billy is an older man with a lot of baggage and a big hope.

Having them find their HEA together was adorable. A bit contrived and a whole lot of insta love, but sometimes that's what you're looking for.

If you want sweet this one is for you.

This fluctuates between super sappy insta love and terrible cheesy porn dialogue and it switches fast enough between the two to give you whiplash. (Sidenote: the mechanic parts of this, as far as I got were not well researched at all, which had me rolling my eyes)
