This would've been five stars if not for the ridiculous 60-page bore-fest in which Andy Warhol "interviews" Capote by simply transcribing a tape he made of them wandering around NY, drinking and lunching. Otherwise it's a brilliant study of the man in his own words, ending with a touching "self-interview" that draws all the threads together in a sad, yet powerful, final burst of heart.

This was a great book that had conversations with Capote about various things.
