P.S. It's Always Been You is the first installment in Lauren Blakley's new second chance romance and after finishing it, I can't wait to get to the next two installments.

In the past, Presley and Hunter were so in love with each other. But Hunter took off to do a secret, important job and left Presley behind, breaking up with her in the worst way. It's been years, but since he's a bit of a celebrity now, she can't escape seeing his face everywhere. If that's not bad enough, now she has

Once again Lauren Blakely is bringing the big guns. Scott Eastwood? Dayum. His voice is smooth like cream with a little roughness that works perfectly for this ragged, adventurer. His narration talent is raw but with a couple more

This was a fun and quick listen. There isn't a painful cliffhanger at the end, but listeners should note that the story is broken into three parts. In this first installment we meet Hunter and Presley, who after an intense, but brief romance, reunite 10 years later on a project for work. The reason behind the separation isn't my favorite, but I'm always a sucker for a second chance romance. Throw in a little forced proximity, humor, and

This was ok. Honestly, I had really high hopes for Scott Eastwood's narration and it was just ok. Not bad. Just... fine...

Plus Hunter was pretty self centered and Presley was about to cave. Even still, I will probably finish the series between reads.

The story is a tease of something more and that is exciting.
I kind of wished I had waited till all the parts were out to listen all together because even though I like Presley and Hunter I just kind of felt a little disconnected. Almost like we know they are going to get a second chance, which is my favorite kind of story, but for me I didn’t feel the chemistry and maybe that is just because we only got so much of the story as of now. Maybe that will come; I have hope because I usually love

5 star review of P.S. It’s Always Been You Part 1 by Lauren Blakely

This was a captivating start to this story about the narration by Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt was absolutely spot on. They blended so well together you would think that they had been a team for years.

This is a second chance at love story for Hunter and Presley and one that I listened to in it’s entirety. I was intrigued by the story and totally invested in this first part. Scott Eastwood’s voice was swoon worthy

I love a good second chance romance and Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors so of course I jumped at the chance to review this audiobook. Presley and Hunter used to date ten years ago but went their separate ways. They are forced to reunite for a project. As always Andi Arndt did a great job with her performance of Presley. Scott Eastwood did better than expected but at times I felt
Andi Arndt is one of my favorite female narrators and I enjoyed Scott Eastwood's narration as well. I think this was his first time narrating a book? If so, I think he did a really good job and I wonder if he'll continue narrating books after this 3 book series. If he does decide to continue narrating books, I'll listen to them if they were to be available in Audible Escape lol.

This audio book was a perfect length for what I was in the mood for and I knew going in that this story will continue

This was a quick listen which instantly hooked me. I really enjoy well done second chance love stories and appreciated that this audiobook opened with the characters together so we got a chance to see their connection in action. I also loved the background on this story- an art history buff/writer teaming up with an adventure junkie as they look into an estate of a famed world traveler.

The writing perfectly captured the connection between Hunter and Presley, which was only enhanced by great

I enjoyed the start of this three part story, it’s only 12 chapters so you will breeze through it. It sets the scene up decorously for us to know about their past and how they got to be working together. It has a little mystery content as well.

Lauren Blakely is renowned for her amazing rom coms and how she brings them to life in audio books. She takes her books to the next level in multi casting. This edition is Andi and Scott narrating in dual style (I do prefer duet). Andi is brilliant as

Man oh man...

This one started a little slow, but once LB got going...well, Hunter and Presley pack a punch.

A second chance story packed with some intrigue and mystery, this portion of the story is a lot of background, until the very end, when the two former lovers discover something that is going to send them on the adventure of a lifetime.

Make sure you have part 2 lines up and ready to go, because you're not going to want to pause between episodes.

Oh, and Scott Eastwood can tell me a story

I didn't want to start this series until all 3 parts were available, but with part 3 coming out in a few days, I thought it was time to get started! I'm glad I made that decision since part 1 ended on a bit of a cliffhanger as expected.

I liked the overall story idea, and think that part 1 was a good start into what might end up being a cute story. I'm not crazy about the narration, in particular on Scott's side. It's too slow and bit stilted. I would prefer more emotion or animation. Not to be

Scott Eastwood was a big draw to this story, but his stilted narration is taking me out of the story. Not to mention that this story just starts getting interesting and it's over. I'm willing to listen to the next part, but I really hope there is some more meat to this story or I may forego the third installment.

Blakely marks the beginning of heartstopping adventure with a page turner of a romance. P.S. It's Always Been You takes a bite out of hearts with the swoon-worthy voices of Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt who work surprisingly well together. Between their masterful delivery and Blakely's unpredictable characters, Presley and Hunter, P.S. It's Always Been You proves to be a risk worth taking.

P.S. It's Always Been You Part 1 is the first third of a novel by LBlakely and released as an Audible Original. It nicely set up the backstory between Presley and Hunter as well as their present circumstances and what has brought them together again. I love the premise of this story and I'm a sucker for second chance romance. I'm pulling hard for these two even if Hunter did a sound job of breaking Presley's heart years ago. There's still crackling chemistry between them and I'm eager to see ...more

This is an intriguing, sexy, second chance romance with a touch of mystery. I love the concept of this story and this first installment sets up this story beautifully. We really get to know Presley and Hunter, their history, and the circumstances that force them to meet again. Presley was blindsided and heartbroken when Hunter left suddenly on a secret adventure. She has worked hard to heal her heart and become a successful Art Curator while Hunter became a famous adventurer. When Presley has ...more

The first installment of the It's Always Been You series combines the brilliance of Lauren Blakely's writing, with the amazing voices of Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt. Meet Presley: 25 years old, sassy, romantic, gorgeous, and in love. Now, meet Hunter, the gorgeous 27-year-old adventure junkie who Presley loves and who loves her back. The problem? Their romance has an expiration date from the start. When they met, Presley and Hunter hit it off immediately. From then on, they decided to spend ...more
I am a hit or miss reader of Lauren Blakely's work. This book (pffft, PART of a book) was just not appealing to me. I think part of my issue was narrator related, which I'll get to in a sec. As it happened, I continued to listen while I worked on other things, so I didn't put my full focus on it after the first 1.5 hours. I did go on to listen to part 2 while I finished up working. Part 2 got interesting once a "mystery" was introduced and the sexual tension increased. At the end though, I ...more

The beginning of Hunter & Presley's story is awesome...I need more ASAP. (All 3 parts are out and I need to find time to listen to the ASAP!)

Hunter's life has taken off - he's a TV heartthrob, best selling author, and all-around great guy.

Presley's life has somewhat stalled...she's not where she hoped she be at this point in her life but in comes Hunter...back...after years of no communication...

The story captured my attention and I don't' want to wait for more but I have to!

Where to begin? P.S. It Always Been You is the introductory 'episode' of a three-part second chance romance serial. We are introduced intimately to our main characters, Presley and Hunter, with an intriguing look in their history together as a couple, the reason fr their initial breakup or lack thereof, and the circumstances behind their inevitable reunion ten years later.

My only critique was that at various points throughout the

What do you get when you put together Hunter, a sexy adventure junkie, and Presley, an equally sexy history guru? A love affair, a breakup, and perhaps a second chance.

Hunter and Presley are thrust together professionally several years after their breakup--to unlock a mystery that takes their professional expertise to solve. Both having baggage from their breakup, they try to make the best of their situation and work to solve the mysteries before them. With the relationship in the past, and not

Serials are always tough for me, as I like to get to the end and see what happens. But this story has me intrigued. Lauren Blakely's first installment of the It's Always Been You series has me wondering. What is going to happen next? Why is Presley even talking to him? How could Hunter just pick up and go? There are so many questions from the past and so many things that could happen in their future. This couple is going to be the ultimate second chance romance. I can feel the suspense coming ...more

P.S. It's Always Been You: Part 1 by Lauren Blakely is a great start to what seems to be an adventurous Rom Com. Andi Arndt is narration status: platinum!! She is amazing and I love listening to her. Scott Eastwood, while usually an actor/model, is amazing voicing daredevil Hunter. It's hard not to imagine him as Hunter in a movie version.

I don't really understand why this is broken up into three parts. This is an Audible exclusive but if it were all together it would be a normal length novel.

P.S. It’s Always Been You is the first installment to what I’m sure will be a great second chance romance story.

Two young lovers, Presley and Hunter, reuniting after 10 years. The Intro is a little backstory to their young love which suddenly ends when Hunter is offered an opportunity of a lifetime. Skip forward 10 years when both are brought together on a work project. This first installment definitely had me wanting more. You get glimpses of their past love
