What's an ex-God to do after he eventually defeats the Big Bad and regains his God powers, knowing full well that he can't safely remain in the human realm, while his 8 loving mates can't live in the God realm? GAH!

That very question weighed heavily on Sawyer's mind throughout a large part of this book, and I kept praying that they would find a way to remain together. As in fully, completely together, the way they had been for all four of the previous books.

I shouldn't have worried so much,
Barbara➰ it truly the end? Everything has led up to this book. All anguish, the tears, the laughter, the hot sex...

It's the final showdown between the brothers. All the mates are coming together and everything is finally in place. Mistakes are made. Truths come out and plans are made. Can Sawyer win the war with all his mates intact?

I feel like I've waited forever for this book but really it's only been 6 months or so. I have absolutely loved this series. All the mates are unique and you can't

A very nearly perfect end to this pretty damn awesome series! I'm left with a happy and also thankful that bit at 97% was all magic and not...(view spoiler).

I will definitely be putting this series (and Hellhounds) on the reread shelf.

I have no idea how to rate this. I’m going to need to give this some thought. And I will probably have to read it again.

2/15/2020 Ok. I went back and reread books 1-5 (yes again). I still loved the series. I’m sort of satisfied with the ending (even if I don’t really agree with how it all went down). There were some unexpected elements. There were some things that really left me scratching my head. Like (view spoiler)
This book was imperfectly perfect for a fan of the series like me! That might seem a bit confusing to you but when/if you read this series, you would definitely understand where I’m coming from. Things happened that I didn’t like/agree with but it worked so well into the overarching storyline that I couldn’t even nitpick too much.

And the sexy times?! Wooo child! It wasn’t as abundant as in the first couple of books (I think because of the logistics of writing a scene with 9 partners all doing

What an ending!!! I didn't know what to expect and I'm kind of glad I didn't have any expectations. This was just about perfect to me. It wrapped everything up in an epic and very, very happily ever after way and really, I couldn't ask for more than that.

I mean, I could ask for more stories in this world...AND I COULD GET IT!!

Woohoo!! I really have loved everything in this world and was a little sad to see it come to an end but am so glad there is more in this world to come.

I'm rambling.

This series is all crack, no substance and I Do. Not. Give. A. Fuck. 'Cuz it is tasty, delicious crack and I will read it ALLLLLL!!!!!!! This final installment (or is it?!?) was not as polished as the last two books -- which I thought really elevated the series -- but it was still a satisfying conclusion overall. Too much time spent with Pip's mama at the beginning and not enough time getting to know Pip and Dakota better OUTSIDE the bedroom -- but there were, as usual, plenty of bedroom ...more

Well sadly our journey has come to and end, for the most part, and truly I am more conflicted than ever.

I snagged this on the release date and haven’t written a review yet because I still just don’t know how I feel. On one hand, I have been waiting somewhat patiently (only check once every couple weeks to see if it’s release date was available) for this so I could hang out with the gang again and see what the hell is happening. And on the other hand I was somewhat disappointed... I

It was a long wait for the this book to be released! Let me tell you, I'm sad the series is over! I will miss all the antics Henry and Pip get into.
I love the ending and happy that Macy is going to continue writing books in this world created by the "chosen one".

A very good ending to the series.

The reason why I didn't like this as much as some of the other installments is because of two things; first, it's a confusing story, at times. At lot happens inside minds, and I probably should have reread the series before this to get full enjoyment out of the plot. Second, it reverts back to some of the first installments in terms of sex vs. plot balance, and at this point I wanted the story more than the sex. The balance wasn't leaning too much

Despite the surprisingly high expectations, I am, overall, satisfied with the final instalment of the series. I mean, this is series about how a pretty normal (just not) guy finds 8 boyfriends. Who happens to be a vampire, a dragon, a lynx, a sylph... and so on. So forgive me for being a little sceptic about it. It's hard to read about 9 guys finding a life together and not immediately label it as porn-pretending-to-be-a-love-story.

And the funny and great things is that it definitely was not

First things first - for those of you unfamiliar with this series, you absolutely must read the first four books for this to make sense. And reading Macy Blake's Hellhound series will also help you out here. If that seems like a lot of books, you will so thank me for telling you this once you read them all! This is one of those rare series where she could write several dozen more books and I would beg for more, the characters and the world-building she has done are that amazing.

So we're at the

The Chosen Universe is so amazing. With 5 books in the Chosen series and 4 in the Hellhound series, there were a lot of storylines to weave together to make a successful series ending book. Stop at Nothing is what series finales dream of becoming! Somehow, Macy Blake has taken all of the loose ends from this truly amazing world and delivered her fans the best possible happily ever after. To get to that ending, however, there is a whole lot of heart wrenching moments and spectacular action. There ...more

What a great end to this series! I loved how the Guardians banned together and supported Sawyer in getting rid of his brother. I am left with questions however??? **** Spoilers**** Cecil and his mate, where did that come from. Also Mike and his mates, I want more now that he is woke and apparently a God too!

I can keep going but I won't. I help these and more are answered in the upcoming books.

Stop at Nothing by Macy Blake is the fifth and final book in The Chosen One series and it just blew my mind! This paranormal m/m + series has held me captive since I first met Sawyer and my love has only grown with each mate we met on the way. So much heat between these sexy men. HOT!! Protective, attentive and sweet and sexy; I love each one of these characters. The universe created here is so amazing and has me hoping we will explore more facets of the world in the future with different ...more

Perfect conclusion to an amazing series!

This series has been a favorite since I picked up book 1 on a whim, not even sure if it would be my thing. How wrong I was! If I recall-just like with this book-I read it straight through while pretending life didn’t exist around me.

Macy Blake brings this world and these characters to life in a perfect flow from page 1 of book 1 through the last page of this final book. There are many characters, but they all stand out with unique features and

Can I just say that my review will disclose my age... sort of! *snort* LOL!!!

Right after the VERY sudden opening sex scene, the story went sideways... repeatedly! Let's just say that several times during the book an old Frank Sinatra song kept running through my head...

I can't believe this series is over! I've gotten so much joy out of reading about Sawyer and his amazing mates, and I can't wait to see what spin-offs Blake has planned!

The stakes are the highest they've ever been, and Sawyer and his mates are going to need more than their courage and determination to save the world from Palinourous. This book brings the main storyline to a thrilling conclusion that I was very satisfied with. And that little epilogue at the end was so perfect (Macy, you'd better

I thought this to be a wonderful conclusion to the Chosen saga. The ending made me both happy and sad at the same time. I think the conclusion to Sawyer’s story was almost perfect. I just wanted to know more about how Meshaq and Drew handled the events that transpired. I also want to know more about what happened with Cecil. I’m really hoping we get some answers in the spin-off series the author is planning. I also wanted more from Pip. I think he was a bit short-changed in the

I really enjoyed this story.
The fun and banter between Sawyer and his mates was as entertaining as ever.
I loved the alternating POV's. It added great depth to the story.
There was plenty of action as well as some super hot sexy times.
It was an emotional, heart wrenching story, as you can really feel connection between all these mates.
A story of overcoming adversity and struggling with decisions for the greater good.
Can Sawyer and his mates defeat the God of Air?
A great ending to the series and I

This series has been mind blowing since the very beginning. There were several unexpected twists and surprises and that’s what made the story that much more exciting.

Sawyer and his mates stood strong together and their love and devotion shined fiercely through the pages.

Amazing series and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Awesome conclusion to the series.

Macy Blake has again shown how good she is. Giving us another well written and original instalment in this amazing, fantastical series.
Sawyer and all his mates are back fighting the good fight. They still have amazing chemistry, love, loyalty and humour. The prophecy continues and all the usual side characters are included in this final book.
There is love, drama, angst and all the feels to keep you engaged. It’s a page turner from start to finish and I couldn’

WOW.....Awesome ending. Also awesome to see that there will still be more of this world. Can't wait.
How do you kill a god? How do you kill a god if he's your brother?

Poor Sawyer… God or not, this has actually been a dilemma since the dawn of time. You know, that whole good versus evil and survival of the fittest. Brother against brother, even when they had no choice.

I never would have thought when I read the first book, in the Chosen Series, over a year ago (goddess, I can't believe it has been that long) that this is where we'd end up. I remember being terrified of those damned crows, and

I have been a huge fan of Sawyer and his Guardians from the beginning , always giving it a 5 star rating .

I loved the story , the funny moments , the love and yes the sexy scenes. So I hate to say this last serie finale didnt do it for me. We met Pip at the end of the book 4 and I dont like him. He is 20 aparently but behaves and talks like a 10 year old. He is even more sex crazed than the whole group combined and it was just to much and to scrambled in the book ( dont know any other way to

DO NOT PANIC, this is not the last in the series. Ok, just needed to say that first.

First of all, that opening chapter had me cursing up a storm. Why would you start the book like that woman ? Good lord. But it’s fine, obviously it works out, still, I spent a good 1/2 of the book knowing what will eventually happen aka that prologue, so you know, lots of anticipation. I have serious love for these characters, I really do. That being said, WTH was up with Drew ? I swear the way he was behaving

I've adored Sawyer and Draco since the very beginning, and I fell in love with each of their mates as they were introduced. This book is the conclusion they've been working towards, where Sawyer has to face off against his evil brother to save everything. I was not disappointed at all.
I was happy to see how much attention each mate was given, and I enjoyed getting to know Dakota better. Seeing him accept his place as a guardian and grow to care about his mates was lovely. And Pip was just as

I was so disappointed with this book. It wasn't bad, the writing was good, the characters were still the same characters I fell in love with back in book one, however, it felt like the author dropped the plot and the threads just got all tangled up.
Sawyer's story went in a completely different direction than I thought it was going to. I think that if the author had kept books 4 & 5 as one book and did a lot more development I would have liked it more. It felt super rushed and the amazing
