She wasnt trying to prove anything, was she?

Ooooh, this was cool. I haven't read the Wild Heritance books, but this novella has left me bursting with questions. Such great world building and adventure! I can't wait to see where the story takes Namid.

The first level of an RPG

I hadn't realized this was a novella when I came across it. Thankfully, this is the prequel to two more books. It read like the starter quest for a thief in a fantasy RPG. This is a good thing. The world was well developed. I enjoyed both Namid and Aahmes. The only problems I had were with some words. Shadower felt off.
