Sebastian survived an entire year on the run from the supernatural. Then he met Liam, his fated mate and alpha werewolf, and thought maybe hed found a home. Until the fae come calling. They want control of Sebs power, even if that means

I absolutely adored the first book in this series and was so excited that finally the second book was out.

Witchblood: Kitsune Chronicles

If you have not read a Lissa Kasey book before be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions.
Sebastian is not your ordinary fox shifter, he is witchblood, kitsune. His past experience has taught him fear, anxiety and not to trust. He takes us on a roller coaster of emotions as he navigates his past fears, anxiety and trust issues all the while trying to get back to his mate and navigating the perrals of the Fae underworld. Be prepared for your emotions to be all

Okay, again with the cover. I'll make this quick, as I clearly stated my opinion in my review of Witchblood. I am a Caucasian, working single mom. Still, I find it offensive that a character who is very aware of his mixed heritage, and much darker skin tone, is depicted as a very pale white man on the cover of these books. And what's up with the eyeliner? SMH.

This book begins a short time after the end of the first book, Witchblood. I'm not sure exactly where to begin with this review. I did

I just finished reading Kitsune Chronicles #1 and #2 in one long rainy-day sitting, so probably shouldnt rate with a book hangover, but would say 4.5 for #2. I loved these very well-written shifter world books with mates, family and pack ties linked to magic, coexisting with the humans and a seemingly endless assortment of diverse shifters and paranormals. Faced with scary, life-threatening challenges from the paranormals and humans, the MCs struggle to retain and strengthen their bond, their ...more

A really intriguing MM shifter romance which I enjoyed reading. The continuation of the story from Witchblood #1) into this book is smooth & flawless. The plot is interesting with some suspenseful situations & there is some good scene descriptions & world building. The characters (a caring alpha werewolf, Liam) & (a witchborn omega fox shifter, Sebastian) are realistically flawed with emotional vulnerabilities & continue to evolve throughout the story-line but there are new ...more

The 2nd book in this series did not disappoint at all.

A continuation of Witchblood, Lissa Kasey continues to build her world and her shifter mythos, bringing in the fae mythos and weaving it throughout the world she is creating. It was another of those books that I couldn't put down after I started to read.

I love the vulnerabilities she allows her main character to have, the imperfections and character flaws that she has written into Sebastian. I admire how Liam tries to help but also tries to

Fascinating and spellbinding

I loved this book! So much was packed into and it answered many questions while leaving new ones. Liam and Seb are such a powerful couple. Their bond fascinates me. We see Seb finding his way, with himself and the pack, and it comes with a unique set of ups and downs. Many times his stubbornness and reticence frustrated me but I did enjoy seeing him work through it all. Liam, ok so maybe he can be an alpha-hole at times, but I love him so much. He is the calm in the

This is one that of those series that you cant put down once youve started.

This author weaves a complex, intriguing yet mind blowing story that simply left me wanting more.

Sebastian in his Kitsune form was magnificent, scary and badass. The Fae underworld was a twisted, scary and dangerous place to be in.

A fantastic story with plenty of action, mayhem, heat, love, mystery and suspense. World building was amazing - the author made everything come alive. A unique shifter story that takes you on
Picks up around the time book 1 left off at. Sebastian is trying to get used to pack life but is plagued by nightmares and self doubts along with the feeling of not belonging within the pack. Things take a turn for the worse when a fight between Liam and a vampire blows up and shifters are on the way of being outed. Sebastian discovers things about himself, underhill and readers questions concerning Nicky are finally addressed in this book.

There was a moment where I went "Oh great another book

Sebastian is trying to be a good mate to Liam, trying to navigate his feelings for his mate, while also trying to figure out his place in the pack. And then the fae show up and cause all sorts of trouble.

Most of the book takes place in Underhill, the land of the fae filled with monsters where danger is everywhere. Sebastian gets thrown back in and needs to find his way out.

This was a great continuation of the series. There are new characters, more twists, and new problems that need to be

The second book is as action packed as the first. With Seb and Liam settling into their mating and pack, but things arent easy as Sebs past which has taught him nothing but pain and fear keeps his anxiety high. Now the fae are playing games.

This book is full of emotions, they clashed together as emotions do and to this end it is so well written, I did get a little lost for part of the book as it felt disjointed to me and I very nearly put it down, I am glad that I persevered, but I am not sure I

I think I would have enjoyed this book more if it hadn't had so much explanation in it. Not only more information than we would ever want to know about kitsunes, but also repetition of information and events that happened in the first book. It was almost like, "you don't have to read Witchblood, it's all here."

That being said, it was a Good Read.

Another great add to the series. Sebastian and Liam are at it again and I love where this series is going. Shifters, Demons and Fae oh my! With new challenges to face I loved being able to see Seb grow more into himself. Liam and his pack there and growing this relationship with both. Sweet and sexy moments full of emotions and I can't wait to know more. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Authors Copy' of this book. ...more

A lot of this book read like I had taken a hit of an illegal substance while reading. I had to reread several parts to make sure it was the authors doing and not me in the process of having a stroke or something. That being said, I enjoyed this. Hey, its a free, legal mindf^&k. 😉
There were some questions from the first book answered, but there were new questions that arose that did not get addressed. I can't give you those questions without throwing out spoilers, but also, I still feel

Witchbond by Lissa Kasey is the second book in the Kitsune Chronicles series and continues the journey of Sebastian and his mate, Liam. This book is just as fantastic as the first, with great world building, a well written story and interesting story that draw the reader deeper into their world. The story is fascinating - entertaining and satisfying. There is a good mix of drama, action, suspense, and romance... with magic.

This is the second book in The Kitsune Chronicles Series. This book is an improvement over the first book. The plot was entertaining and less confusing in this book. I found the story and characters likeable. I think that this book still needed some help, but I was able to enjoy it more. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Absolutely Brilliant

Poor Seb was really run ragged and considering his past that's saying something. I already can't wait for the next book because Seb is finally coming into his own and he and Liam have some work to do.

We learn so much more about the kitsune but not at the same time. The faes tricks really try their bond but they push through. And Seb found Nicky, though well have to wait until another book to see how they go back to get him and the Volkov. So much goes on in this book but Seb is finally able to unlock that final piece that was in the way of his bond with Liam to make their bond more solid. I really look forward to more books in this series to see what is going to happen.

Witchbond is the second novel in the Kitsune Chronicles series and just as exciting, suspenseful, filled with surprises and revelations as the first. Set in an extremely well-thought-out supernatural domain with a specific, unique set of rules, this world combines witches and magic with kitsune lore, shifter myths, and fae interference on various levels. It continues the story of Sebastian, a young fox shifter with special abilities as a kitsune that nobody really understands in detail. He may ...more

Before reading this second book in the series I strongly recommend to read book 1 to fully enjoy this incredible plot. I loved how Ms Kasey continued the story, from the evolution in Sebastian and Liam relationship to the complex interactions between paranormals in the story passing by the answers for some of the mysteries left unsolved in the first book. Simply brilliant!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
