It's just not my love story...

I came to a bit of a realisation while listening to the third instalment of P.S. It's Always Been You I realised I shouldn't judge someone else's love story as wrong. Obviously, I know this already, but it's easy, as a reader/listener, to be judge and jury when the characters are not doing what you want them to do. I wanted these characters to put love in front of their careers. I wanted him to put Presley first. I wanted Presley to accept nothing but the best from

Awww... this ended up being so sweet and Hunter won me over and Presley made me like her too! Happy reading!

Ahh ok, this mini series was off to a rocky start for me, but Lauren always brings it home. I enjoyed this last installment of Hunter and Presley's love story. It really did come full circle and second chances are my all time favorite kind of stories.

I love the way the treasure hunt brought them back to each other. That it wasn't just one thing but it was a combination of people and things that showed them the right path.

I adored the ending it was prefect.

Initial Thoughts
I have to say that I think it was a mistake to break this book into 3 parts. It was unnecessary and having to wait a week to pick up the story again took away all of the book's momentum. Now that all three parts are out in the world, readers will not be forced to wait as I was but it still felt like the only reason to split the book up like they did was money.

The story picks up right where the last part left off. The characters were good and I liked getting to know more about

This was a sweet conclusion to Hunter and Presley's story. I loved how it brought all the players together to solve the mystery. The story had a lot of promise overall, but being broken into parts made it a little too choppy for me. I love second chance romances, but never really felt the fire re-ignite between Hunter and Presley. There was a lot going on in the story in order to solve the mystery, and even though it centered

The conclusion was good, and had a bit of fun surprises to it. And not just that, I liked that it was pretty realistic in how the two dealt with challenges that came up in their relationship. Not overly dramatic, although there may have been a first thought for each, but both quickly realized that being together was important not how they did it. I loved the way that Hunter came to his realization, and that he was able to be there for Presley and put her first. Once again though, Scott Eastwoods ...more

2 boring scavenger hunt Stars

This had a good recipe of a story however it was just a little boring. I didnt like the male narrator at all and the like of the female Andi Arnt couldnt bring it back. I think it tried too hard and I just wasnt buying it.

But I like the author so Ill read something else of hers Im sure.

This is such a quick, fun series to read.
I am a fan of Blakely and love her way of writing, keeping things moving within the storyline, all the while creating characters and stories I love.
The 3rd book in this series was the perfect ending. I loved the twist that happens in this book, it really allowed for the ending to be one that felt well played and not rushed.

Hunter Armstrong is a man who tries not to have regrets. He lives his life to the fullest just as he was taught to do. He is an adventurer, survivalist, author, and documents his daring stunts on his own show and special. For all intents and purposes, he is living his dream...but when a stunt goes wrong, the one regret he tried to bury keeps coming to the forefront of his mind.

Having now listened to the full serial, I am saddened. Throughout the first two installments, I kept telling myself that there was more to come, so there is still room to be wowed. But unfortunately, it remained merely an 'okay' read/listen for me.

The slow pace of the first two novels continued into the third, and the book ended with me not believing the love the characters told us they had for each other. I wanted to be swept off my

5 star review of P.S. Its Always Been You Part 3 by Lauren Blakely

Firstly if you havent listened to part one and two, then stop and do so, as this book picks up where part two finished.

Another intriguing addition to the story of Hunter and Presley narrated by Andi Arndt, Scott Eastwood, Saskia Maarleveld and Zachary Webber and was entertaining.

This is the conclusion to Hunter and Presleys story and it was intriguing to listen to them as their past relationship morphs into their

It's no surprise that I was caught up in the treasure hunt of this story. The fantastic romance behind the letters is just perfect! Such a sweet, devoted love story deserves to be told and absolutely is worthy of inspiring others who need a nudge to grasp what is right in front of them. I love how this worked out.

Narration is just the icing on the cake. Some of my favorite narrators bring this story to life in a way you cannot get outside of audio. Performances are great! I look forward to more

I was so excited when Lauren Blakely announced that Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt were narrating, who doesn't adore them both? I have to confess, I didn't love Scott Eastwood as a narrator, overall he did pretty good (I'm sure that narrating an audiobook is really difficult), his voice is delicious, especially when he read the love letters *swoon with a side of ovaries exploding*, but his cadence felt off. At times it almost felt like listening to William Shatner, however, that was obviously not ...more

Review from book 1

The first of the series and didnt start off too well for me. Hes so in love with her but chooses his career over her or wouldnt even try and find a way they can work it out? Theres not much fight from him to salvage his relationship so how much in Love is he?

Second. (Keep in mind there may be spoilers for the other two books)

He comes back into her life and theres no sort of working taking place. Just them overcome with lust and desire. She stupidly falls head over heels for

First, if you haven't listened to parts 1 & 2, you will need to before beginning this gem! This third installment wraps up our story of Hunter and Presley. These two for me are so much fun as their love for this adventure grows. I loved the treasure hunt, the love story they were following and watching their relationship flourish. It's refreshing seeing how

What a wonderful ending to this intriguing, and sexy, second chance romance! Presley and Hunter continue their quest to uncover all the clues from the Valentino letters. It was fun watching them work together so skillfully, playing off each others strengths. I loved how their relationship unfolded synonymously with the beautiful love story that was described through the Valentino Love Letters. All through this adventure, I also enjoyed seeing Presley and Hunter change and grow, wanting the ...more

Solid 3 stars and only because I'm feeling a little generous.

There were aspects I liked - the second chance love story was sweet; Andi's narration; the love letters from long ago. However there were bits I liked much less - Scott's narration (more on this below); a portion of the ending (how it involves other people); the pacing for Hunter & Presley's story.

Re: Scott's narration: I think he could develop into a good narrator, but he needs some work. He has a great voice, so that's a start.
lmao though I was reviewing for part 2, not 3. #awkward.

Okay onto the real review.

The third and final part for Hunter and Presley's happily ever after! I honestly felt like the pace for this one was off from the previous two. No idea why that happened but everything just kind of slowed down for me. Not quite sure if that was a good or bad thing at the moment.

Still in love with the narrators though - so that was a huge plus!

Other than that, I am happy that these two grew a lot throughout this

I loved how this story ended. This was a sweet and romantic second chance serial. I think each part was better than the last. There is a little bit of a "secret" in this story and I figured it out during book 1 but that didn't make any effect on the story for me. I enjoyed Hunter & Presley's story even if it felt a little choppy because of the "parts". The narration was best in this last book. I think Scott just needed to find his way with narrating and he got better with

PS It's Always Been You Part 3 is the final book in the trilogy. The suspense has kept me interested and waiting to find out what's going to happen next. I really enjoyed listening to Andi, Scott, Zachary and Saskia, as they told the story not only of Hunter and Presley, but of the love story they are seeking. This is a fantastic second chance romance with a side of puzzle solving suspense. I love a good cliffhanger and they didn't make us wait too long to find out the next steps Hunter and ...more

What a wonderful ending! I can't tell you much without spoiling, but deep swooning will occur!

This was such a beautiful love story. Hunter and Presley both growing so much since their breakup ten years prior. I was so anxious for those letters, almost as much as Hunter and Presley. Those letters were their own great love story. Hunter and Presley's tale was unfolding, even though they didn't know it. Everything happens for a reason, and true love endures.

What a very enjoyable final installment on this lovely second chance romance. I have been pulling for Hunter and Presley and they do not disappoint. The best part for me, is the treasure hunt where they meet all sorts of people interrelated to get to the treasure. The ending is so fabulous and I have to say that Lauren Blakley never ever disappoints me. Ever. If you have a chance to listen to the audio, do so as it is incredible. There is such romance, love, adventure, and some many feels in ...more

The final installment of this audio series was a pleasantly delightful experience. I wasn't overly sold on the first two installments, but I am glad that I finished. This final experience filled my romantic heart with joy. I will say, if this wasn't on Audible Escape, I would have been frustrated having to pay for three different novellas that should have been one full length story.

This review is for the whole series.
This is a great story but I wish it were written in just 1 book instead of 3.
I recommend that this series be read as opposed to being listened to with an audiobook. The reason for this is that the story involves clues and I think that you process the clues better when you read them.
