Foster Marlett was always there...until he wasn't.

After disappearing for four years without so much as a goodbye, he's back, and something has definitely changed about him other than his marital status.

Long gone is the boy who left on a whim.

He's taller.
And have his arms always been that big?

When he starts sending looks my way I know I should ignore, I can't help bu

As always I m having fun reading Ms Hunter books. They just have this appeal and fun vibe that sucks you in. I choose her when I don't want drama and unnecessary angst.
Wren and Foster are best friends-to-lovers. They were cute and the banter was hilarious. A sweet love story that had its sexy moments.

I’ve never read anything by this author so this was a first for me! This one was short, simple and sweet. Sometimes I need something like that. There was no drama, it was simply about these characters falling for each other. I loooove it when one of the characters (especially the hero) is pining over the other. Unrequited love sucks balls but it’s hella entertaining to read about. I also appreciate that the pining was one sided during the younger years and it wasn’t a big ol’ mi

A Pizza My Heart is downright adorable. This book had be giggling, swooning, and cheering on the characters from beginning to end. I loved Wren and Foster! I love how they had a connection years ago that wasn't acknowledged but later rekindled. I love how easy their love story was; there wasn't any unnecessary drama or over the top issues to ruin the book. And I absolutely fell hard fo

Cheesy! cheesy! Pizza, my heart, get it? OK, I'll stop now. The cutest thing about this book was the title, which was why I read it, but it kind of went downhill from there. I thought it was going to be funny or witty, but it was kind of bland and a bit dull. I'm just not a fan of the whole oblivious thing and this whole book was based on that, so no. It missed the mark for me.

HAPPY RELEASE DAY TO A PIZZA MY HEART, the first book in a new series by Teagan Hunter: yessss! Thank you Teagan for providing me with an ARC.
This ARC was received in exchange for me leaving an honest review.

This was a quite typical Teagan Hunter read, with which I mean: a one sitting book < Once started, I just can’t stop reading anymore! It’s super fast paced thanks to the fun and addictive dialogues between the characters Wren and F

Oh, I just love a good Teagan Hunter book. Her sassy, comedic, and steamy writing always makes for the perfect combination in a book. This past year I have fallen in love with the Romantic Comedy book, and she played a HUGE part in that when I stumbled upon her Texting series. <--Go run and check those out..seriously, laugh out loud funny, and you can't put them down! A Pizza My Heart was no different, it was another great Teagan Hunter read. This book releases on JUNE 20TH and it comes HIGHLY r ...more

5 Star review A Pizza My Heart by Teagan Hunter

This is a second chance at love story that captivated me from the first chapter to the last. To be honest just the name of this book A Pizza My Heart was enough for me to jump at the chance to review and I couldn’t wait to dive in.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about this story. Foster returns to town finally single determined that the women he has always wanted Wren Daniels, realise what she is missing. It’s time she sees Foster as a man an

One thing I’ve come to learn from Teagan Hunter, is that she is ridiculously talented when it comes to writing RomCom stories. Her words just seem so effortless and they are an actual joy to read.
Being a massive fan of her previous books, I knew reading this one was going to be a no-brainer. I picked it up quite late last night, and this morning I went to work with bags under my eyes and a smile on my face; once I had started Wren and Fosters story, I just couldn’t stop. The banter between them

I'm giving this a 3/5 stars instead of a 3.5/5 because I read the ending and epilogue and the sneak peak of the next book in the series and it all reminded me of why I didn't really enjoy this book as much as I did in the beginning. I realized there was a lot of fillers in dialogue. I can feel Teagan trying to write a quirky and funny novel by adding a lot of banter and one liners but after 50% and no action between the two main characters, I was getting annoyed very quickly. It's slow burn. But ...more

This best-friends to lovers romance gives us Wren and the guy who kept his feelings hidden from her - Foster. I was really enjoying the start of this book and settled in to enjoy - the banter was fun and entertaining and then some how my interest dipped low about half way through. So finished this feeling meh, but enjoyed the start.

Oh my heart. This was the cutest fluffing book I've read in a long time and I absolutely FLOVED it. I found myself smiling the whole way through.

After reading Doughn't Let Me Go (book 3 in the slice series) I just new I had to go back and read the 1st two books. Im slightly ashamed to admit that these
Joy Novel Thoughts
I will admit it. I've been cranky when it comes to books lately.

For a person who readily admits hates angst is upset that there was no angst.

I knew going in that A Pizza My Heart was going to be low on the drama and angst and I still dove in wholeheartedly expecting I don't know... some drama?

Her brother being pissed at his best friend for making a move on his sister? But nope. I didn't head these warnings when going in, like when I read it the outcome would be different. Silly, silly me.

A Pizza My Heart is exactly what it looks like. A cute slow burn kinda-second-chance between two best friends.
If you're in the mood for a cute, sweet, without any kind of drama story this is the book for you.

I am always ready to read about male characters pining after their childhood best friend's.

Hower this one didn't really do much for me. Maybe I just need at least some angst in my books or at least some action. It felt like really nothing happened, but I still enjoyed some parts a lot. If it
Super cute book, 4.5 stars!

My first Teagan book, and absoloutely loved it!! Im not a huge fan of romcom because most of the time the book is too OTT, the jokes are too cheesy, and I end up cringing instead of laughing, but not this book! This book I did actually laugh or smile through it, it was such a cute and lighthearted book! It didn't have the unnecessary drama that other books have nowadays, and it's also nice for the guy to have the crush on the girl for a change. I can't wait for the nex

i figured i should probably start writing why i dnf certain things so future me isn't extremely confused when she comes across a bunch of books she has literally no memory of reading and wonders why they were on her shelves in the first place. i don't think this book was bad in the slightest, it was just really boring. i'm all here for male characters pining for the female mc for years, but the way it was presented early in the book told me everything i already needed to know. drew seem
3.5 Stars. As with all Hunter's books, the addictive writing made this a fast read. I really loved about the first half. I'm all about the slow burn. I also loved the banter. I just felt like once they started to get together it became all about the physical relationship, which kind of cheapened the actual love story. I also wish the secondary characters were developed a little bit more. However, it was a quick fun read and I definitely shipped Wren and Foster.

I'm absolutely here for the brother's BFF trope, but add in a few high recommendations and pizza and I was eager to jump into this one.

I like Wren and Foster well enough. She's determined to stand on her own two feet and he's coming back home. I really enjoyed their shared history and how they were able to basically pick back up from where they left off. There are a few other characters, but this is clearly the Wren and Foster show.

Plot wise, it was just okay. It's a very slow burn and it felt

Oh how I adored every slice of this delicious story! Wren and Foster worked together immediately. Their chemistry was believable, as friends and as a couple.

APMH gives me more of that signature Teagan Hunter snark that I so deeply love. The characters have a great sense of humor throughout the entire book and it feels like

Before beginning this new series by Teagan Hunter, I was afraid it could not compete with the Texting series and especially Let's Get Textual.
But I must say I really really did love this one!
This book contains everything I was expecting and more: An easy to read but also super authentic brothers-best-friend-romance which is as well super funny and damn hot, with a lovable couple and great side characters (I am so excited for I Knead You Tonight!).

This was so much fun and entertaining to read! I loved that it was light, no over-the-top drama, just an easy read with a great love story. One of the many things that draws me to Teagan's writing are her characters. I totally want to be friends with all of them. With Wren and Foster, they have amazing chemistry together and their banter is so on point. It was fun reading them go back and forth. I can't wait for the next book in this series, it's going to be a good one!
A higher 2.75 stars.

It kind of pains me to not rate this higher because I've loved all previous books from the author, especially the text series but this one felt very flat throughout and took a while for me to even finish. I didn't even buy into these two having feelings for each other. A positive is it had good sex scenes.

I'll just sit and sads for a while. This one wasn't for me. Love the author and her style usually, so I'm waiting for the next book.
