I’ve been following this family saga from book one and was eager to see what Ms. Butler had in store for the characters I’ve grown to love and root for. I certainly was not disappointed! In this new installment, Lydie finds herself in a psychiatric facility, locked in an embittered battle with demons of her past. An excellent read with twists and turns and a few larger than life characters, which I like. As the story built up, I found myself wondering what would happen to them all. I won't give away any spoilers suffice to say that this is part of The Laurelhurst Chronicles but in this book, the protagonist spends a year in a psychiatric clinic in America.
