Rocco has his world all wrapped up in a neat package. He has a job that he loves and his daughter, the best thing that's ever happened to him. And he has his rules. These rules keep the order and balance in his life and the women where they should be. But he never counted on Brooke, and she's about to turn his world upside down.
Brooke never had the typical love life. She tried to have it all, but there was always something that held her back from committing. Until Gary. Gary was...not really important. But being with him led her to Rocco in the most unusual way, and now she's about to find out all about his rulebook.
I'm a stay at home mom with a love for romance novels. There's nothing better than reading about a hot, alpha male that makes my heart swoon. I spend most days hanging out with my kids or writing about my next book boyfriend. I love crocheting, sewing, reading, and being outdoors, but in the end, there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book!

One thing I hate about reading a book like this, #21 in a series, where It is my first time reading anything from this series, is the fact that if I really love it, like I did with this book, then I have another whole big series to add to my TBR. And this book was spectacular. It was super hot and steamy, it had action and drama and I was laughing out loud like every few minutes.
Despite the fact that I hadn’t read any of the previous Reed Security books, I feel that I know quite a few of the guys and their women now after reading this book. I love the good natured ribbing that goes on between the guys. Especially the married ones and the single ones. The jokes they play on each other and the situations the set up for each other and even the way they try to help each other are hilarious.
This book was about Rocco, he works for Reed Security and is a single father since he accidentally knocked up a one night stand and after giving birth she dropped the baby off at this front door. Since the time Reed Security was attacked they have put tight security on the base where they all have houses, especially in Rocco’s home around his daughter. Including a panic room high tech security entry to the baby’s room and an armed security robot.
Rocco meets Brooke at a gas station after she has committed a crime against her cheating ex boyfriend and to get away from the cops, Brooke hides in Rocco’s truck. He lets her get his gun away from him and take him hostage because he is attracted to her and wants to get with her, but she thinks he is just a muscle bound gym rat who was easily overpowered. After a few days on the run Rocco shows her how easily he can take his gun back but the cops end up pulling them over and Brooke is arrested.
It turns out that Brooke is best friends with the wife of another member of Reed Security and has met all the guys except Rocco before. Including the owner Sebastian. So in court Sebastian offers the judge to put Brooke up in a house with one of his security force on their property on house arrest rather than have her do jail time. Rocco is selected as that man. Though Rocco has strict rules for the women he is with and Brooke is not the kind of woman to follow rules for long.
This is all the prime setup for a whole lot of hilarity, fun and the chemistry between these two is sizzling hot! I loved every minute of this book and at some point I want to read all of their stories! Man, I really need to win the lottery so I can quit my day job and read more. And also find some way to go without sleep. Why can’t I be a vampire, they never need to sleep! They don’t even need glasses! I would love to get rid of those things too. I’m cleaning them a million time a day.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
Rocco by Giulia Lagomarsino is book 21 in the Reed Security Series. This is the story of Brooke and Rocco. I haven't read the previous book so for me I thought it could be a standalone book. Brooke is working to move forward with her boyfriend but finds out he is cheating on her. Of course Brooke didn't handle it well and that out come is her now ex boyfriend is after her. This leads her to meet Rocco in a somewhat funny way. Rocco is a ex military guy who now is now working as part of the Reed Security team. Rocco also is a single dad to Evie who is his main focus and doesn't date. What he does have are rules for women in his life when he does go further than a short encounter. When he ends up meeting Brooke she breaks all his rules and drives him crazy but he can't seem to stop her crazy train nor does he seem to really want to. Enjoyed this book and want to read more from this author and series.
I love Rocco! This book is the perfect example as to why I will never get tired of the Reed Security series. Giulia Lagomarsino has created this amazing world and casts of characters that has me hooked with each and every book.
Rocco and Brooke were absolutely hilarious, they had me laughing so hard it hurt. Then add in the Reed Security crew and I was in tears laughing. These books would not be what they are if it was not for the entire Reed Security crew. These characters are so close that you cannot have one without the others, this series would not be the same.
Rocco and his rule book were no match for Brooke and her sas. She came into his life like a hurricane and never really stopped the disaster she created. The chemistry these two have towards each other jumps off the page right from the start, which is how Rocco ends up in the mess he's in. I have to say I think Brooke is a brilliant addition to the Reed Security woman. She is just as crazy as the rest of them and will keep Rocco on his toes forever.
Giulia Lagomarsino knows how to make me laugh one minute and make my heart hurt the next. Rocco is a rollercoaster of a ride that I could not get enough of. I never wanted it to end but couldn't put it down. I read the entire book in one sitting and I'm not even sorry! I just loved everything about Rocco and Brooke. I cannot wait to see what she gives us next.
Rocco is a member of Reed Security and has been a single father to his daughter Evie since she was born, and she is his world. He didn’t expect that a stop at the gas station would find his life turned upside down by a woman who refused to follow the rules he created to govern his life.
Brooke’s temper and desire for revenge has got her in a bit of trouble. After making Rocco her unwilling accomplice she now finds herself having to serve her sentence under his roof.
This story has all the things that we know and love about this series including humorous banter, heat, suspense and the great relationships that the characters have with each other.
I’ve read several of the Reed Security books at this point and I’m always taken on an adventure where another of these security team members bites the dust and falls into a relationship that they didn’t know they needed. Rocco and Brooke’s story is no different. Entertaining story line and lots of jokes with an alpha ex military security hero always makes for a good story in this series.
This book was great! I loved Rocco and Brooke, the banter between them was fantastic and their chemistry was palpable. There's lots of great antics and plenty of laughs in this book. Such a entertaining and phenomenal read, I highly recommend you give it a read.

Brooke is a passionate being. She’s also quite understanding. So when she walks in on her boyfriend in the middle of a BDSM scene with another man in their home that she literally JUST moved into with him, she doesn’t immediately freak out. But when he confesses to using her as a cover, the passion ignites and she does some damage with a baseball bat. Fearing jail, she runs and ends up taking a hostage and his vehicle to get away. What she doesn’t realize is that the sinfully sexy guy she absconds with is Rocco of Reed Security. Neither provides their real identity so she also can’t tell him her connection to the security company. When they end up in custody, Brooke is forced to live under house arrest with Rocco for a full year. The guy that rocked her world. The guy that has rules for everything – including hookups. The guy that has a toddler. And consequently a new set of rules concerning the little tyke as well. But Rocco is better than jail and Brooke decides she’s going to have an enormous amount of fun both enforcing and breaking every…single…one…of…the…rules.
Rocco is completely perplexed by Brooke. She’s never acting as he expects, constantly throwing him off guard. He’s a carefully planned man and has rules for everything. It keeps things simple and straightforward. With a young daughter to think about and a highly dangerous job, he can’t afford distractions. But Brooke is a level of crazy he never knew he would crave like a drug. She stands for the complete opposite of everything he holds sacred. She doesn’t like kids, she has no stable employment, no retirement or insurance, and holds a devastating secret that could mean the end of any shot they might have at happiness together. But Rocco’s ways aren’t necessarily the right path either and while his carefully constructed life may have seemed like the way to go, once he and Brooke realize they have more than just fantastic sex together, he also eventually sees that he's got to bend as well. But will he bend in time to save their delicate relationship, or will the dangers of his profession bring everything to a screeching halt before they have a chance to see where this love could lead?
Good Lord! I have never read any of the Reed Security series before. Given that this is the 21st book in the series – You heard me right. Twenty-first! I have no idea how I have not stumbled across these books before. I may have started at 21, but dang, am I happy with it! I can only imagine how great the other books in the series are. Thinking about reading twenty of them to get caught up is a bit daunting, but also thrilling. I mean, how often do you come across a book that you not only enjoy, but find out has so much more to offer with so many other books before it? And that’s not even counting the next two books I am aware of that take place after ROCCO. Good grief! All of these mouth-watering special ops guys who now work for an elite security firm? Yes, please! I was able to obtain a copy of this book when I hosted a tour for it on my blog. I have to admit that the blurb hooked me immediately. I mean a hot man with all of Rocco’s talents and skill, with a daughter, and a rule book for sex? I had to find out more and I was not disappointed. It was hilarious to see this man thrust these rules that make his life uncomplicated toward a woman who is nothing but complication. And her way of testing him at every turn and challenging those rules? Priceless. But Rocco wasn’t the only one thrown for a loop. Brooke, self-proclaimed anti mother material ends up making a huge turn around where Evie is concerned as well. And while the little darling is only a portion of Brooke’s transformation, and definitely a scene-stealer (mostly because of how great Rocco interacts with her), Brooke ends up “domesticated” as Knight would put it. Overall this is a story of give and take, push and pull; making allowances when you love someone, no matter how far outside of your comfort zone it might throw you. And if you are lucky, you’ll find true happiness in a place you never could have thought it would ever exist. Initially, the book started out with a whole lot of crazy and a side of hot mess, but eventually, things began to even out a bit and make sense as you get to know and understand the characters more. Admittedly, these guys would all have to have just a bit of crazy to carry out the jobs they do, so it all works.
Having never immersed myself within the world of Reed Security before, I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the other team members. There were a crap ton of them. But after some time, they began to take shape and before too long, the camaraderie within this tight fold of skilled warriors had effectively drawn me in and left me thoroughly entertained. The heavy banter from one member to another was a joy to experience and even in the face of some horrific situations, they still maintained some levity – their love, loyalty, and trust for one another never in question. Once they discover that Rocco seems to have willingly put himself in a predicament so far out of character and with a woman to boot, they all knew there was something special about Brooke. And the ribbing began. The married men provided advice. It was worthless crap but given with good intentions. The single men saluted to the end of an era and the Captain somehow always had a hand in every little detail that seemed to occur. Knight, also, was a trip. I couldn’t figure him out initially and wondered at his motivation. But it wasn’t long before his intentions were made clear and that my preliminary hesitation toward him was completely unnecessary. I can’t say I have many complaints about this book. Sure, Rocco going along with Brooke from the beginning was a bit far-fetched, but he did a good enough job of explaining his curiosity that I bought into it. So no big deal. But I was a tiny bit disappointed in their sexual chemistry. The times at the motel were hard and hot. But after they moved in together each time was almost anti-climactic. We were led to believe that it was just as explosive as the first time but the descriptions waned quite a bit afterward. Considering that both claimed to want to keep things down and dirty and avoid that “love making shit”, I was surprised at the lack of detail. There was one scene that really tugged when Brooke and Rocco are talking about a future and Brooke’s plans after house arrest is over. It’s glaringly clear on just how differently they think about things and at one point Brooke says, “Well maybe I don’t fit. Did you ever think of that?” I had the worst tingles when she said that - like it was the beginning of the end for them. With Brooke running through life pretty much care-free and Rocco having the career plan, they looked as if they’d found an impassable blockade. But, true to form, Brooke surprises him again and tries to see things his way and he eventually understands her point after a bit of an ass-kicking from his team. Given the constantly changing POV switch between Brooke and Rocco, and the reasons for their specific outlooks on life, this aspect of the book was a nice addition. I liked that there was a depth provided to each of them by allowing a picking of their thought process as events unfolded.
Make no mistake, these are a bunch of rough around the edges, hardcore guys with passion and language to match. If you gravitate towards sweet romance, this isn’t the book (and probably not the series) for you. And don’t get me started on Knight and his mad IT skills. Killer robots in Evie’s room? Check. Laser beams, tear gas, and floor shocks? Check. There is just so much to this book and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the rest of this series. I am assuming it would be best to start at the beginning. With all of the secondary characters introduced to me in this book alone, I would agree that it probably would be a good decision to start with the first book in the series. However, I also enjoyed my time immensely, so if you want to check his book out to check for compatibility, I don’t think you would have any issues reading ROCCO first. Although, you might also be left with a worse problem … having twenty other books to read when you discover how fantastic this book is. LOL But then you would also have the chance to read ROCCO all over again when you work your way back around to it. That’s a bonus. No matter if you decide to start with the first book, or this book, Ms. Lagomarsino and the Reed Security series is not to be missed.

Rocco (Reed Security, #21) by Giulia Lagomarsino was a great 5 star read. I loved Rocco and Brooke, they pulled me right and I had so many LOL moments with them.
Brooke discovers her boyfriend in a not so great predicament and her anger takes over. She takes care of a few things with a bat and flees, she ends up running from the cops.
Rocco meets Brooke when he sees her hop in his truck. He lets her think that she has kidnapped him because he is intrigued by her and wants to know more about her story. Needless to say they end up in bed together and it’s hot as heck.
Things take a twist when Brooke is caught and ordered to one year of house arrest and guess who she has to live with? What will happen when Brooke finds out who Rocco really is?
There are some secrets revealed and twists that added a great element to the story. Brooke was great; she was a strong woman who had her guard up due to things from her past. I had so many LOL moments with her, it was great. Rocco blew me away with his rulebook, he could be a real jerk when he wanted to be but he also had a softside. And the security at his house was off the charts and you will also get some good laughs from the man in charge of setting up the security. There is so much going on that I couldn’t put it down until I was done. I loved all of the secondary characters, they were awesome. I do have to say that where this ended seemed like a cliff hanger for me, I need to know more about this couple. Reading all of the books in the series will help you connect with all of the characters but you can read as a stand alone. I can’t wait to read what's next in this series.

This series just gets better, look forward to the next one... Having read all the books to date, you can either read them alone or want to know more about each of the other characters and trust me you will want to. I started on the first in the series and I can't stop, I look forward to each of their stories and the future of Reed Security. The author draws you in from the start, you don't know what each book will entail but they all share the same feelings and/or thoughts we have with the connects we make in our lives. Through it all, no matter what you'll feel like you're a part of the book, you'll feel the same things or understand them. If you're anything like me, I have a little bit of all them in me. I truly suggest you read each one from the start of the series and the men and women within it. I started with Sinner and went on from there. You can't just read one and move on to another book, oh no, you need to read the next one and the one after that, so on as you find out all the little bits of each character you begin to see the whole story of the series and those behind it. Each character brings their own bit to and and you want to know more. Don't forget to read the series For the Love of a Good Woman with the other men involved in the series. I can't wait for the next book to come out. This is a series that's very intense you can relate to it at some point in your life, the trials and tribulations that they go through, is something either you or someone you know has. I've been totally pulled in by the author and you will be to. Rocco has his ways and leave it to a female other than his daughter to have him change his ways. Sometimes things happen for a reason and they put us where we need to be. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Where to even begin! Brooke was awesome! I really identified a lot to her in my younger days. I felt the same way about kids! Her reactions were so honest. I also love that she is a "sweat the small stuff" kinda person. She is not at all the typical female lead character in a story. She doesn't follow any set ways of how you expect a character to behave. She is completely unique! She is the kind of character that is truly honest. She tells everyone exactly how it is and doesn't put on any airs. Of course at the end I was screaming at her just to do this ONE thing for Rocco and Evie. But I truly love her attitude of "this is me, take it or leave it". Rocco really surprised me. I thought he might be a little too rigid of a character to really relate to in any true way. I found him not only relatable but totally endearing. His way with Evie is obviously captivating but his true colors that come out is what really sell him to me as a character. He is the epitome of teddy bear! Big and sweet. You think at the beginning he is going to be all about his "rules" but when you uncover his deeper side you completely fall in love with him! He is such a strong character and that is necessary to match how big a character Brooke is. All of the banter between the guys is, yet again, PRICELESS! But the interaction with Claire had me rolling! The whole hug thing was SO TRUE! And the way Claire is with her word vomit is hilarious. This book had me hooked on these two from start to finish. I really can't wait to see how their relationship evolves through the rest of the series!

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Sinner (A Reed Security, #1) Cap (A Reed Security, #2) Cazzo (Reed Security, #3) Knight (Reed Security, #4) Irish (Reed Security, #5) Hunter (Reed Security #6) Whiskey (Reed Security, #7) Lola (Reed Security, #8) Ice (Reed Security #9) Burg: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #10) Gabe: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #11) Jules (Reed Security #12) Sniper: Book 1 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #13) Jackson: Book 2 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #14) Chance: Book 3 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #15) Phoenix Rising (Reed Security #16) Alec (Reed Security #17) Storm (Reed Security #18) Wolf (Reed Security #19) A Mad Reed Security Christmas (Reed Security, #20)
This is Brooke and Rocco’s story. Rocco has all he needs in life, his daughter and his rules. But Brooke is making him re-think things. He met her when she hid in his truck after committing a crime. But even after getting arrested he still is interested in her. Can he protect her and his daughter or will she keep running when she should have just accepted his help? He offers his house for her to stay at rather then jail but will that work, or will she run? She is not really a rule follower and he is all about the rules. Can the get along for a day let alone forever?
I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Very emotional story that will have several triggers for some. But all and all it was a great story.
This is the first book I have read by the author and it can be read as a standalone yet I am going back to read all of the previous books in the Reed Security series. It is a book filled with humor, drama and two characters that burn up the pages. Rocco is a single father who puts his daughter Evie first and foremost but being in the security business has him engaging in some harrowing adventures. Brooke is a woman who has grown up too fast and has always looked out for number one. On the fateful day of finishing her move into her boyfriend’s place, she comes face to face with something she never wanted to see that leads her to do something drastic. After the storm, she winds up at a gas station where she runs into Rocco and proceeds to kidnap him and take his weapon. Not one to usually succumb to a woman nor let any situation get the best of him, Rocco decides to go with the flow and winds up on the run with Brooke for a few days. Their attraction is instantaneous and the heat between them makes them fall into bed quickly but not before Rocco mentions his “rules” for women. However, all things come to an end when they get arrested by the police and the subsequent arraignment that Brooke is subjected to that changes the course of both of their lives. Can Brooke open herself up to leaning on another person and learn what it means to be family? Is Rocco willing to stay the course with Brooke? I loved reading each page of this storyline and this is one that you should read for yourself; you will be glad you did! I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
Nothing ever really goes the way you would expect for the characters of the Reed Security series so why should finally finding ‘the one’ be any different?
Rocco’s personality and strength of character have really come through in what we’ve seen of him so far in this series and it’s hard not to like and admire him. He’s got his life planned out and has set upon himself a set of manuals that protect both him and his daughter. Brooke is Rocco’s complete opposite she’s a go with the flow free spirit who lives her life the way she wants.
Everything is going great for our closeted romantic single father Rocco, that is until Brooke enters his life. A series of events and a little interference led to her being under house arrest in his home and with that came a whole lot of problems. How do you reconcile that ‘the one’ for you shares a very important difference of opinion which means a relationship is not going to happen and will ultimately leave you heartbroken if you fall for them? Their clash of lifestyles and opinions create for one interesting journey to a HEA. We see arguments, a chemistry sparking push and pull, a struggle to accept feelings, a changing heart, and a small plan of manipulation.
As we’ve come to expect from this series the men of Reed Security are always there to bring humour to a situation. The camaraderie between these men is one of the best things about this series and I thoroughly enjoyed the teasing and banter between them all. We see some action in Rocco and Brooke’s book that has an ‘edge of your seat’ feel to it. It’s another strong addition to the series that’ll leave you satisfied.
"I thought this was breaking the rules." "Shut up."
Brooke beats up her boyfriend, destroys his car with a baseball bat, takes Rocco's gun and kidnaps him, and now they're on the run. And we're not even done with chapter 2 yet. She's on house arrest, and because she's Reese's friend, Reed Security agrees to be in charge of her. More specifically, Rocco is in charge. They're busy doing the dirty every chance they get. But this isn't a real relationship. He has a little girl - she hates kids. He has "The Rules". And he's drawn a line in the sand regarding "The Rules". How many of them can Brooke get him to break before someone falls in love? These books just keep getting better with each new release. I can't even imagine how the author keeps all the characters straight, and consistent throughout all the books. I love Brooke, and while what she did to her boyfriend and his car was wrong, I really can't blame her for it. Rocco is a terrific father to little Evie, but he needs to take that rule book and shove it... I was impressed that when Brooke realizes that she can't get rid of "The Rules", she decides to turn them on Rocco to her advantage. There's the usual amount of suspense and danger in this book, as well as a ton of steamy scenes. These two are in love long before either of them is willing to admit that they have any feelings at all. The Reed Security guys are in rare form, and the banter is even more hilarious than previous books. I can hardly wait for Coop's story!

Can we talk about what a genius Giulia is for a minute.
This book had me going crazy. From the start this book kept me entertained, first with Brooke's hilarious antics of smashing her boyfriend's car (which he deserved), then with her kidnapping Rocco and it just carried on.
Each page of the book kept me so engrossed that I was dreading the end of their tale. Brooke is an amazing character. she is completely different from the other wives, the fact that she is a badass from the beginning. And I have a feeling that she will be influencing the other wives in the near future. She takes no nonsense, especially from Rocco. In fact she gives him hell right back.
Rocco was also a pleasant surprise, in the fact that he is a closet marshmallow. He is a complete softy for his baby girl, but he gets very very protective like a complete Papa Bear. He doesn't freak out completely when he realizes his true feelings for Brooke, but he does realize that he can't be happy at the expense of Evie.
And then there is the biggest surprise, Knight. His interactions with Brooke is absolutely hilarious.
I really loved the way this book flowed, there were some surprises that had me gasping. But this book really kept me engaged.
Humor, emotion, action and very hot romance Excellent romance of the Reed Security series which from the first two chapters, sets the tone on the characters of Brooke and Rocco. They are as crazy as each other, lost in their denial of emotional bond. I loved the two characters from the first two chapters. The story can be both hilarious, exciting and moving, and I had a great time thanks to the quirky characters. Brooke knows how to choose her men! When she discovers that her two-month-old boyfriend with whom she has just moved in, is gay and like BDSM, she gets angry, breaks his things and flees by getting into Rocco's van. Rocco works in Reed Security, is always armed, and, like almost all the men he works with, he has the muscles, the intelligence, is extremely sexy, but he does not have the art of communication with women, especially the one like Brooke who is not really good either in terms of social ties. She believes he is kidnapping him when he lets himself be, to see how far they will go together. However, following her action against her ex, she finds herself under house arrest in Rocco and his 2-year-old daughter's house. It's quite hard for Brooke who has a sickly repulsion towards children. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Been waiting for poor Brooke to get her book for quite some time now!! And as expected her story did not fail to deliver and was just as awesome and funny as I thought it would be!! About time she got her HEA after watching the boys get theirs from behind her computer!! If your new to Guilia's books as some others have done I suggest you start from the beginning and first read the "For the Love of a Good Woman series where we first meet Cap and Maggie. And follow it up with : Sinner (A Reed Security, #1) Cap (A Reed Security, #2) Cazzo (Reed Security, #3) Knight (Reed Security, #4) Irish (Reed Security, #5) Hunter (Reed Security #6) Whiskey (Reed Security, #7) Lola (Reed Security, #8) Ice (Reed Security #9) Burg: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #10) Gabe: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #11) Jules (Reed Security #12) Sniper: Book 1 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #13) Jackson: Book 2 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #14) Chance: Book 3 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #15) Phoenix Rising (Reed Security #16) Alec (Reed Security #17) Storm (Reed Security #18) Wolf (Reed Security #19) A Mad Reed Security Christmas (Reed Security, #20)
Overall, It was a good read. No real complaints, but it didn't have that extra wow factor that I enjoyed in a few of the other books to make it a 5 star book.
Going on the run with her at the beginning was semi entertaining because she thought she was doing such a good job at kidnapping him and holding him hostage, when it was just really terrible as he described.
Shockingly, Craig actually made some sense in this book and wasn't completely oblivious to everything. Unlike his own book. Which was terrible.
So overall, their story was good and Evie was a hoot with testing Brooke. But they definitely ended up with a nice bond too.
It was also nice to see Parker in the book. Even though it was brief. Still not sure how that completely panned out since they're not ones to let others go like that. However, seeing as he also has his own book in the series, he obviously gets adopted into them as well eventually. Cap has something on him other than being part of the attack. So that will come out, I hope, and I really hope the last book really wraps them up. Because they definitely don't individually wrap anything up.
Rocco was a mass of contradictions with his rigid rule book for women to keep him from forming any attachments and feelings for them. He met his match in feisty Brooke as she burst into his life in a pseudo kidnapping attempt. Hilarious in many ways as their weird meet cute had him interested in her wild desire to escape her cheating ex. ( I loved her cray cray scenes when she caught her fiancée by the way) I’m not sure I liked the way he and his Reed Security cohorts discussed his intimate moments with Brooke as he tried to resist his attraction to her, but it made for entertaining ribbing and banter as the rest of the gang made their appearance in this story. Brooke’s standoffish attitude towards children, especially Evie was as disturbing as Rocco’s rule book. I appreciated the way the author slowly but surely showed them softening in their stance because of their growing relationship with each other.

I've said it time and time again giulia is the frigging book whisper. Each book is better than the last and Rocco was no different. She knocked this book right out the park. I rated this book a 5 star but it deserves a million stars. I've been giulia's biggest fan from the beginning. What happens when rules get broken and lines get blurred.
Rocco is a medic and is a reed security hot ex military guy. He's also a single dad and evie is his world. He doesnt really date and if he does he as a book of rules for dating or if it's just for a one night stand. Evie is so adorable.
Brooke is stubborn and at times very irritating she got on my nerves so much so I wanted to slap some sense into her. She caught her boyfriend cheating on her and took a baseball bat to his car. She meet rocco under a effed up situation. Slowly though she started to grow on me. Rocco got hurt one night on a job. I cried, I laughed in all the right places. Giulia Lagomarsino is frigging amazing at what she writes. Bring on cooper's book next. I cant highly recommend this book enough.
My world has been so enriched by this EPIC series Reed Security, and the brilliant Giulia Lagomarsino, making it my favorite security series EVA! Yeah, I said it, because she's EARNED it with the way she weaves together story after story which never is the same, and Rocco is another clueless single man of Reed Security who has all kinds of rules for his life. There's one problem with that, the woman who was made for him isn't even respecting them. Hell, they met when she thought she was kidnapping him because she was on the run from cops. I'm laughing my behind off just trying to type this up. His buddies decide on a course of action which has her on house arrest at his house, so the fun really begins from there. And Brooke?! OMG SHE WAS EPIC in her absolutely flawed perfection. Plus there's the amazing guys all playing a part in the journey, including Knight, who had me absolutely rolling with his leveled up insanity. This is 100% a MUST READ so get to one clicking! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Excellent! Book 20 OMGOSH- what a great finale. I have loved this series it’s filled to the brim with humour, and drama. Rocco is a single father who puts his daughter Evie first and that was nice to read. Brooke had to grow up much to fast. One day, the last day of her move into her boyfriend’s place, she is faced with something painful. Brook ends up at a gas station where she runs into Rocco and proceeds to kidnap him and take his weapon. Could hardly believe it. Lol Not one to usually succumb to a woman nor let any situation get the best of him, Rocco decides to go with the flow and winds up on the run with Brooke for a few days. They had a spark from the first touch. Their attraction is instantaneous and the heat between them makes them fall into bed quickly. They have a rude awakening when they get arrested by the police and the subsequent arraignment that Brooke is subjected to that changes the course of both of their lives.

Love, love this series. I can't get enough of the sexy alpha males at Reed Security. This the 21th book in this series and I don't want it to end. I have missed a few along the way and I have to go back and read them all over in order again. You don't have to read each one to get the understanding of this series but if you want a better understanding of the back story and characters you really should and you won't be disappointed. This is the story of sexy, follow his rule book Rocco. Rocco has everything wrapped up in his neat little book. He has his book and his daughter and he is good. He has his rules and they work for him, but they didn't count on Brooke coming in and turning his world upside down. The story pulls you in right from the start and keeps you glued to the edge of your seat till the very last word. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. I couldn't put it down and I can't wait for the next book in this series. I recommend this author and series. A must read.

Oh my god. This one was so good. Let me tell you how good it was. So I was in a metro on a long trip- 2 hours , so I was reading this awesome book standing on my feet, and when I was at the part when Rocco fell and... (no spoilers for you ) some idiot snatch my phone from my hand and started running. It was a long tube so basically he didn't have anywhere else to go until the next station. But did I think that? No.!I was so desperate to read what happened with Rocco that I started screaming after him to give me back my book! Yeah, my book, instead of my phone. I stared running after him, screaming until some good samariteans stopped him. I, like a crazy woman that I've never been, jumped the guy taking my "book" back.I didnt think that all my info is in that phone, I didn't think that i could've read the book on my laptop or tablet or that the guy was bigger than me, I've just jumped him telling him that "I was reading some f*cking awesome book, you du*b a*s idiot!"
Brooke goes ballistic on her boyfriend then kidnaps Rocco to help her get away. Brooke had agreed to move in with her boyfriend and was moving stuff in but when she enters the kitchen she find him about to have sex with a man in a BDSM costume. Her anger explodes and she starts taking swings at him with a baseball bat once hitting the other man who moans not in pain but with pleasure. she goes outside and beats on his car then he tells he has called the police so she gets in her car and drives off. Wondering what to do next she pulls into a petrol station and notices the large man filling his car in front of her. She gets in his vehicle and when he gets in she threatens him with the bat telling him to drive. Rocco is intrigued by the woman threatening him and wonders what she is running from. ballistic

We're coming to the end of the Reed Security series, and I’m going to miss these guys! If you remember, Rocco recently found out he was a father & now has sole custody of his two year old daughter, Evie. I laughed at the way this story started-Brooke acts before she thinks & ends up spending a lot of time with Rocco, whether either of them like it. What I loved about this book: the author had a great balance between the romance & action in the plot, a bit of the humorous banter the guys are known for (without it being over the top silly, as it can sometimes get), and the characters. Rocco is a devoted dad & will always do the best for Evie; he's already changed, so he has hope for his relationship with Brooke. My favourite of the series.

Rocco has rules – rules that he uses to keep himself not getting attached to women. Brooke had decided to finally move in with Gary, but what she finds out on the day she moves in, isn’t quite what she expected. Rocco can’t believe the woman that snuck in his truck, she was a knockout, focusing he finds she trying to get away from her cheating ex, deciding to ‘kidnap’ him to get away. Having had enough Rocco can’t take it anymore and lets her know enough talking, and he can see she wants him just as much but knew for one night he could deal with her crazy. Brooke was just trying to get away from her crazy ex and didn’t expect Rocco, Rocco likes how Brooke isn’t scared and has an innocence about her, what he doesn’t realise if she’s the woman that is going to take his rules and destroy them.
Bring twice the usual tissue count. You'll need them from laughing so hard so often when you aren't crying because of the touching or scary sad parts.
Thanks to Knight's IT skills and abusive monitoring actions, everyone knows everything or at least all those he wantsthem to know.
Brooke doesn't have successful relationships. There is always something wrong with the guy. You know, like his hair is too long or maybe too short. Those kinds of things. She knows it just isn't gonna work. How she ended up with Rocco leaves her no choice in the situation, which will be explained in the book, not a spoiler here.
When she was "committed" to a lengthy stay with Rocco, she didn't realize he had a toddler daughter who is the love of his life. Brooke doesn't do kids. She better learn pretty fast.
The confabs with the guys are hilarious. None of them should be with any of their women considering what they would and did do to capture and keep the one for eadc of them. The women are just as funny. Wait till you see what Ice's wife provides for dinner at his demands to prove his alpha control. (just a hint: you'll need a couple of those tissues here)
Brooke doesn't like kids she says. His daughter is the delight of his life. This is gonna be a problem. Rocco gets hurt on a mission. How will they work it out or will they work it out?
The book is one of those you just can't wait to finish and wish there was more when it is done. The characters are all amazing. Their teamwork extends on and off the jobs assigned. The series is wonderful, however, it is not necessary to have read it to enjoy each book/romance alone. There is plenty of steam. This may not be your typical Security Firm. I still strongly recommend it to everyone. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
I cannot believe this book is #21 in the Reed Security Series and after reading every one of these books, Giulia Lagomarsino continues to make each of these characters interesting, the stories are page turners, and so, so funny at times. The men of Reed Security are crazy alpha, passionate, and sometimes just plain crazy. The women are strong, stubborn, and passionate about their men and families. Rocco and Brooke meet in the usual Reed Security way, strangely. Their lust grows and grows but, Brooke "hates: kids and Rocco is a single dad with rules. The storyline moves quickly, there are laugh out loud moments, some tearful ones as well. I love Rocco, Brooke and Evie. I could read this series forever! And hope I can.
