High House Ursa is still under attack from within and Kincaid has been accused of stealing from the House account. The queen is giving him time to work out who is framing him but it would be a lot easier if she hadn’t ordered to take his accuser along with him.

The second book in the High House Ursa series is thrilling and full of non-stop excitement as Kincaid and Haley try to stay alive long enough to discover the truth. Kincaid and Haley are two strong, bold characters that has sparks flying

Because the attack was centered on mages, the danger was greater due to pressure sensors on the roof and other difficult-to-detect wards and spell defenses that only another magic user could sense. But unfortunately Kincaid, head of High House Ursa’s operations in the European theatre, didn’t have a true magic user available to him. Instead, his Queen had sent Kvoss to help him – and they had never gotten along.

The rogue mage, Samuel Girard, was pinned down and trapped in the building they were

This is the second book in the High House Ursa Series by Riley Storm. I did read, and enjoy, book 1 but this can easily be read as a standalone. In this book we meet Kincaid and Haley. He has been accused of theft and his accuser is the human accountant for the House of Ursa, Haley. They both don't want to work together to prove his innocence - at least not at first. But as time goes by their attraction for each other sizzles across the pages of my Kindle. This is another page turner that is ...more

Furever Loyal is the second book in the series and it just keeps getting better. The world building is not overwhelming where the reader gets lost in hierarchy or terminology. Riley Storm does a fantastic job with the characters and grabbing your interest from beginning to end. It's not hard to get caught up in the story, especially the shifter fight scenes.

The author also does a great job drawing on your emotions. I felt for Kincaid with having everyone doubt his loyalty, including Haley. I

I am so enjoying this author and this series. I truly enjoyed Kincaid and Haley's story. Loved their love/hate relationship and when they finally gave in to their passion and desire for each other. The mystery was good too as it kept you at the edge of your seat. I was only going to read a few chapters and then continue the next day but I couldn't put it down and read it in one day. I can't wait for the next one and to find out who the enemy is finally!

I totally loved this story. The plot was different. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. I loved Kincaid!!! He and Haley made a great couple and team! Lots of drama, tension, and action!!! Definitely a page turner just to see what happens next and try to figure out the puzzle! I will definitely go back and read book 1 as well as continue on with book 3 in this series!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book...

Damn, book 2 was and is as good if not slightly better than book one. Some - Kvos, makes want to send him off never to be heard of again, he’s annoying.Kincaid and Haley’s story is so awesome, I love that she’s a spitfire. I hope they catch the bad soon! I truly enjoyed this book, yes it has an HEA and can be read as a stand alone (but you really should read the first book!)

Well written mystery full of drama, banter and sizzling chemistry

This was another fab mystery in the House of Ursa series - this time based on accounting 'discrepancies'. The story unfolds at a great pace, although I wish we knew more of Haley's background a little sooner to understand her fears better. That aside, this story has secrets, action, drama, banter, betrayal, sizzling chemistry and love. It was a thrill ride to read and I look forward to more stories in this series.

Great plot and characters, just like the first one. I also really love that this sequel didn't follow the trope of the genre, where the female character's friend/sister/roommate is the star of the second book. Some inconsistencies are there, like when Haley is tied up in the warehouse, and from one page to the next, her duct-taped mouth is no longer duck-taped? Overall, though, an enjoyable read.

Haley is an accountant for the House of Ursa, and has to find some missing millions. She accuses Kincaid - and the proof seems real - but has she made a mistake? There are many secrets that she has no idea about - and her life is about to change forever. There is danger at every turn, and romance for her as well - an awesome well rounded story, and i cant wait to read more of this author's work :-)

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Imagine you're loving your job, following the rules since you overstepped them once and had to pay the highest price for this and suddenly you're introduced to a world you never ever thought possible... Well, you might have to break out of line - if only to stay alive. I really liked this one. The relationship - If you can call it that in the beginning, between Kincaid and her is just lovely.

Guilty or framed?

I have one question...how will I ever make by TBR list get completed if I keep finding great new writers? I loved this story but realize I HAVE to go back and read book 1! Kincaid and Haley were wonderful together. The story-line contained just the right mix of danger, treachery and romance to keep the pages turning. Was Kincaid guilty or framed for embezzlement? Read to find out.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. Kincaid is accused of stealing money from the House of Ursa. Hailey a human and Kincaid a shifter must work together to find out who is trying to frame him. This is a fast-paced read with lots of drama and suspense. The chemistry between Kincaid and Hailey is steamy and the mystery really draws you into this paranormal read. I really liked it.
