It's time for bed, but Goat isn't tired. Thankfully, he can get his sillies out during his bedtime routine, leaving him ready for bed in the end. Using light text and funny illustrations, this board book from the Hello Genius series showcases the playful side of bedtime.

The first silly moment during Goat's bedtime routine was cute, but the repetition at each stop had me thinking that reading this one with your little might spark a lot of rebellion during their own bedtime process. I also couldn't particularly tell what silly thing Goat was doing in two of the illustrations. It does end sweetly with Goat's parent calming and tucking them in.
This is easily my 2 year old's favorite book. it's silly and makes her laugh, but also helps us put her down at night by mimicking the book's nighttime language of calming our bodies and closing our eyes. No more sillies little goat.
