Pieces of a Pattern: LaCroix

Rate this book
This is fashion designer Christian Lacroix's own account of his life and career. He recalls his childhood in Arles, his vie de boheme as a student in Montpellier, his arrival in Paris, and his rise from Patou to his own label within only six years. Hundreds of colour and monochrome illustrations from his sketchpads, diary, pinboard and family albums, are interspersed with vividly remembered impressions that were the sources of his creativity.
