I lost my job and got kicked out by my roommate, who happens to be my ex-husband, on the same day.

If I nail one interview, I can get my life back on track. I even get to fly on a private jet with my prospective boss's dad Gentry King, a widowed oil company CEO. We'll make one stop and once Mr. King's business is done, we'll continue on to Denver where I'll hopefully land a

This book was riveting and fascinating. It is hard not to feel compassion and sympathy for both Gentry and Kendall, not to mention admiration for their inner strength and perseverance to move forward in life. Out of work, recently divorced and currently living with her parents again, Kendall is willing to travel to Denver in order to interview for a job. She ends up on a private plane with Gentry King, the rich and powerful CEO of King Oil. The spark of attraction is palpable between them, but ...more

    Large Age Difference.
Kendall is only a year older than Gentry King’s oldest son but the age difference doesn’t matter to either of them. As the oldest of six with busy parents, Kendall has practically brought her siblings up and they still rely on her for support, something her previous partners have not been understanding of. Gentry has four grown boys and understands family loyalty but due to his lifestyle after the death of his wife years earlier and Kendall’s age, his sons and ex
