This was the final book in the series of 4 books altogether...obviously, one book for each season! Living in the midwest, I am very familiar with the changes in each season. Some are more subtle than others! Jack Burton captured the essence of that change with each book in this series...and in the personalities of the individual characters of the books. This book reflected the youngest of the 4 siblings, and it was a tender story of a love that spans several years, while the youngest sibling ...more

In this last installment for A Storm For All Seasons Novel, Spring Rain features Kaitlin and an old friend of the family, Brett.

Kaitlyn Storm is an Events Coordinator for their family business, and Brett McGregor a very talented painter, and owner of a gallery.

Brett was first mentioned on Winter Ice as Aidan’s best friend, and now he’s back to shed some light into his past.

Kaitlyn is determined to place her heart on the line, and in the process of putting herself out there, by all means
*3.5 stars*

I liked this story. I read it out of order so I may have liked it better if I read it the way it was intended, but I thought it was steamy and interesting. I liked the storm family. but, I didn't know how I felt about Brett's deep, dark secret. I thought we needed more there. Otherwise though I enjoyed it. I am actually going to go back and read the first three in the series.
*4- Stars*

I enjoyed this, but the big drama was not as terrible as the hero made it out to be - it was bad though, I don't want to make light of it. The resolution was too simple too. But in a shorter story, that happens. I still enjoyed the series.
