Oh, how I adore Ad Ellis' Silver in the City series. The third book, Silver and Spice, is wonderful, finally gifting us with Bay and Kyson's story.

This story involves a quirky old grandmother who bribes Bay into getting married to Kyson. Thus, from the start I was intrigued. What starts as a fake relationship turns real for these men and it's fantastic. They are so good together. All they needed was a kick in the ass to realize their feelings. If you've been reading along with the series, we

This was such a good book. It was so well written and flows really well. I did not want to put it down! I think it is a good cap to the series.
I love Kyson and Bay so much. They both have feelings for each other, but have their own reasons for not letting those feelings out. Kyson helps Bay out after his grandmother gives him an offer that will help him raise Arlo comfortably. When neither one will admit they really care for each other and want to give their relationship a shot, Bay's

Silver & Spice is the final book in the Silver in the City series and I think it's my favorite. Having read the series in order, we've been seeing Kyson and Bay dance around each other and the end of book two left us with a pretty big cliffhanger that is resolved in this book. Bay, who recently became a father to his nephew after his sister died, has been fighting his attraction to Kyson. Kyson is several years younger than Bay and Bay doesn't think it's fair to saddle the younger man with a ...more

I was sooo looking for this book. Kyson and Bay had me intrigued from the first time they met in Silver&Sage. I mean, it was cute watching the way they've been circling each other from the beginning, neither willing to make the first move.

Maybe because of how much Kyson and Bay tried to stay away from each other, I felt like their story was more emotionally and sexually charged than the others. Attraction has been cackling between from the get go, only intensifying the more time they spent

Finally. This is book three of the series. Bay and Kyson. Ok and Arlo because he is a big part of this story.

These two men have had a connection which starts on book one. Kyson really wants a relationship with Bay but Bay is not willing to take that step. He feels he would be holding Kyson back from freedom of a relationship that doesn’t start with a child involved. Pfft. Kyson loves Arlo already and he wants a family with them.

When they finally get their act together with some great

Silver and Spice picks up where Silver and Gold left off. There was an emergency with Bay so Kyson rushed to the hospital, thinking the worst.

These two! Kyson has feelings for Bay and at times it's hard to understand what Bay is feeling because hes so freaking stubborn! I mean, its admirable, he wants to put his son Arlo first, but he doesn't need to sacrifice love and happiness for himself in order to do so. The perfect partner for him, and second parent for his son is right there in front of

There are so many things wrong with this book, it's not even "funny"!! Let me count the ways:

1a. There is SO much tell!! In fact, there is SOOOO much tell, the author spends 95% of the book TELLING us what happens between Kyson & Bay!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!!!

1b. There are so many time jumps that ultimately rob us of seeing/witnessing/experiencing ANY development between the two MCs! Frankly, again, this was convenient enough so the author could rob us from witnessing the story firsthand!!

Finally it is Bay and Ky's story! I've been waiting for these two since they met in the first book, and I wasn't disappointed. They have insane chemistry and the slow burn before they finally give in is delicious! Both of them are keeping the other at arm's length, Bay especially. He doesn't want to burden Ky with suddenly becoming a parent to Arlo, and he's convinced that it has to stay that way... even when Ky is the only one he can turn too for a huge favour. Their fake relationship was ...more

I'm sad that the series is ending but happy to finally be able to read Kyson and Bay's story. It was very frustrating! Hahaha! I felt like the first two books in the series also included all the foreplay for Ky and Bay so when it was time for their story, things would just happen. I don't want to ruin it for any of you future readers but they take a few more frustrating turns until these guys realize what is right in front of them. And then it's all honesty, romance and hot

What an awesome conclusion to the Silver in the City series! These guys though! Just can't get enough of them. Ms. Ellis has given her characters so much sophistication, empathy, grit and heart, it is absolutely impossible to not love them all. Reality shines through in each and every book in this series, allowing the reader a strong connection to the characters and giving us that feeling of being able to relate. A definite must read!

I know it actually hasn’t been long, but I feel like I’ve been waiting for Kyson and Bay’s story forever! Well now I have it and I loved it. Definitely my favourite of the series, Silver and Spice is funny, heartwarming and sexy. It takes some pretty elaborate hijinks to finally get the men together but when they do it’s wonderful. With some wrap up stories at the end to tie the whole series together as an extra treat it made the book even more enjoyable.

This is a great book to end the series on, even if I did want to shake some sense into Bay for a lot of the book, hell, for the series in general. It takes a very young at heart and often inappropriate grandma meddling to eventually light a fire under these two. I love the relationship between all the guys and the way they all chip in to take care of little Arlo.
I thought that this was a really cute series of books, a really cozy read.

I have been waiting for this book since the series started. I loved that the relationship between Kyson and Bay is teased throughout the other two books. It was a great to watch the slow build up of their relationship and them over come their demons. Each of the guys over comes their inner turmoil to become a strong couple and a great family unit. I loved watching them become a family.

My favorite out of the 3 books! They were all good, but this one had all the best stuff! There was slow burn, hilarious family match making, dirty talk, steamy filthy mess sex, devotion, love, happily ever afters, ice cream, adoptions, kids, ducksedos, puppies, babies, and Disney. It doesn't get a whole lot better!
And then it did!
Some perfect, and some seriously funny, wrap ups to the Silver boys finding love in the city. The the extras at the end were like the sprinkles and cherry on top of a

Grandmother Millie made it! I really enjoyed seeing these men flourish in their lives thru work, love and family. A really good series!

A.D. Ellis is an Indiana girl, born and raised. She spends much of her time in central Indiana as an instructional coach/teacher in the inner city of Indianapolis, being a mom to two amazing school-aged children, and wondering how she and her husband of nearly two decades haven't driven each other insane yet. A lot of her time is also devoted to phone call avoidance and her hatred of cooking.
