I don't understand what Theo saw in Hunter, and I really don't understand why Hunter was so petulant and fought the attraction for so long.

On top of that, Theo pushed Hunter when Hunter said no; this was painted as a "no means yes" kind of thing, which is a despicable concept. Unless said as part of a specific, consensual scene, no means no. Period.

The steam was plentiful, but I never felt the connection between the MCs. The HEA came out of nowhere. Indeed, the entire story felt rushed.

Even the reason behind Hunter's refusal to bottom felt contrived to fit the storyline. Hunter needed therapy, not magic dick.

I liked the first two books in this series and will give book 4 a chance, but sadly this one was a no-go for me.

This has been an enjoyable series and HUNTER just added another dose of fun to it with it's game of Cat and Mouse between Hunter and Theo.

Hunter is considered the "Bad Boy" amongst his friends but the truth is he hasn't been bad at all lately so when he has the opportunity to let off some steam he takes it, only things didn't go quite the way he thought they would.

Theo is gobsmacked when he runs into Hunter again since thinking about him constantly after their one brief encounter that left him craving more. But the fates must be on his side because when he needs help Hunter is the one there offering his support.

Hunter and Theo have great chemistry and the story had a nice flow to it, I really enjoyed watching Hunter come to terms with what he wanted and what he needed to do in order to get it.

HUNTER while the third book in the TWILIGHT FALLS SERIES can be read as a standalone. This book as well as other in the series are meant for adults.

Happy Reading!!!

A sweet, mediocre story. Nothing shocking happened. A lot of meddling protective friends.
It was a lovely story, nicely written, but again, nothing happened besides their blooming relationship.
Hunter's hostility to Theo was not in balance with the brief contact they had.
The big issue from Hunter was a bit extreme in relation to the whole story.
I couldn’t feel the chemistry between characters.
The environments were original, overall I enjoyed the story, but I hoped for something more.

I was given my copy of this book.
Hunter met Theo in a club and had a night he will never forget. Short time after, Theo walks into his clothing store, as the owner/manager of a new clothing store that opened immediately opposite Hunter’s. There follows a wicked game of cat and mouse, but it’s quite clear that Theo is the cat, chasing Hunter, even though he calls Hunter his kitty cat.
This is book 3 in the Twilight Falls series, but can be read as a standalone. I loved book 1, Alex. Book 2, Carter, didn’t hit the spot for me but I still gave it 4 stars.
This one?? My favourite of the three! I LOVED Hunter and Theo!
I mean I sat down to read a few pages before bed, well, that’s the lie you tell yourself, but sometimes, you just cannot put a book down! Read it in one sitting.
It’s a wonderful tale, with some darker bits, but only enough to explain why Hunter doesn’t bottom. It’s more the aftermath that is dealt with, rather than the event though. It all makes sense, once Hunter tells Theo. That he even TELLS Theo is telling in itself, and at that point, it became totally and utter obvious to both of them, that they were made for each other.
It’s lots of fun. Hunter and Theo are incredibly playful, even before they get really close.
The preparation that Theo does for Hunter is a little . . . . clinical at points, a bit of an idiots guide to getting ready to bottom BUT they made it fun. Hunter spoke to his friends, and made notes. Led to some super hawt fun, I tell ya!
What I especially loved was how the feelings of MORE came out of left field for Theo, the way he announced that made me chuckle. I don’t think HE expected it to come out quite so soon!
There is no break-up and make-up. No nutty ex. Just an accident that takes Theo away from Hunter for a time.
It’s a whole bundle of too stinking cute, wrapped up in a layer of warm and fuzzies and it was JUST what I needed!
I would give it more than 5 stars if I could cos I loved it more than Alex, but I can’t so . . .
5 full and shiny stars

Book three in the Twilight Falls; Hunter brings us right back to the sleepy small town and characters that we know and love.

Known as a bad boy, Hunter Thomson hits a club on a trip into L.A hoping to loose a few hours in pleasure. What he was not expecting was to meet a man that filled dreams he didn't even know he had. After the most meaningful, but puzzling sexual experiences of his life, Hunter makes a run for it. Or rather, the hazel eyed man that invoked those feelings.

Theo Miller is new to Twilight Falls, opening a new location for one of his many other shops, he thought of nothing else but the shop and the mysterious man he meet for a one night stand in L.A. Little does he know that the little town of Twilight Falls holds the key to his heart. As luck has it, the shop owner across from his new store is none other than the mystery man he can't get out of his head.

While Theo pursues Hunter, the unthinkable happens; Theo is injured in a climbing accident while saving not only Hunter, but Hunter's friend as well. Feeling guilty, and the pull of all things Theo, Hunter decides to help Theo while he is recovering. Things heat up in more than one way and the past comes to light as we learn new things about Hunter and his "shy" ways. Enter back into Twilight Falls, and into the loving story of Hunter and Theo.

First things first, while you can read Hunter as a standalone, I personally recommend reading the first and second books in the series to get the most out of the series. This is a man on man romance, if that isn't your cuppa tea, then just be aware. If you haven't explored this genre much, then come on in, this a good one dip your toes into for beginners.

Hunter and Theo's story is so sexy and sweet, you can't help but like it. When I first started, I was unsure how I felt about Hunter, he was stand offish and kind of cold, but after reading more, you learn why and what makes him that way. The vulnerability of his past gives Hunter a tough outer shell that hides a shy, loving inside. Theo, now he'a upfront, bold and sexy. He knows what he wants and isn't shy about going after it. Their relationship is somewhat bumpy at first, but throughout the book the story line flows and the chemistry is so real. 5 out of 5 stars, and very much hoping for more in this series. I think Tristan would make a great book!

Hunter, the third instalment in the Twilight Falls series, focuses on Hunter.

He is the self-proclaimed bad boy of the Terrible Seven (although I don't know why, sure, he's closed off, but he never really does anything bad boyish?) and always the alpha in his sexual encounters.
He has a very hot encounter with Theo in a club, but they don’t exchange more than names, as that’s very much his style. Except, in the weeks after their brief experience, he cannot stop thinking of Theo and wishing he could see the man again.
Theo feels the same way about the man that he simply cannot get out of his mind, or fantasies. He glimpsed something in Hunter that he would very much have liked to explore.

Turns out both will get their wishes as Theo opens up a store right across the street from Hunter’s store! And they are sort of business competitors, as both shops sell sports apparel (although Theo’s focuses much more on fashion in general). They see each other every day PLUS Theo moved next door to Hunter, so they are neighbours as well! They cannot seem to keep their hands off each other when they are alone, however, and their sexual chemistry is off the charts!

I loved the conversations these two had—in between the kissing, of course—as it is 100% clear that Hunter feels something more for Theo than just pure lust, but something is holding him back from going all in. It takes quite a few games of cat and mouse between the two men—Theo being injured and Hunter taking care of him, and Theo knowing when to push and when to back off—for Hunter to share why he is so against being in a relationship with Theo. That conversation between the two was sensitively handled, and I loved how, once Hunter opened up a little about his aversion to being a bottom, he went guns blazing to Alex and Elijah for advice. Now, that was an interesting conversation!

All in all, this was a lovely, low-angst story showing what a complete softie Hunter is under that hard shell of his and how much fun the love he and Theo share brings to both their lives!

This is the 3rd book and while it can be read as a standalone, it is best enjoyed if you've read the previous books since the characters, which are a group of friends, appear throughout the series. Each book focuses on one of the friends.
This book focuses on Hunter and his unwanted (so he thinks) journey to a HEA. Hunter is hiding something and when he meets Theo, he fears that Theo will make him face his demons, so he runs away. But fate cannot be outrun and Theo is back in Hunter's life. This is where their intriguing dance of giving in to their attraction but not to feelings begins. And what a steamy dance it is!! But once the heart decides what it wants there's no ignoring it and love will find a way to succeed. And Theo patience, vulnerability, and pain begins to erode Hunter's walls. Hunter loses the battles before he even realizes and is forced to face his demons (why he believes a HEA relationship could never be for him). While Theo is forced to face his unwanted past and let go of the pain that has been eating at his soul. These vulnerable moments just made my heart ache for them but then it melted with the sweet and tender moments they shared. And of course, there were plenty of humorous moments to balance it all out. The group of friends and their nosiness and teasing had me cracking up.
Now I'm off to read the next book, I'm addicted to the Twilight Falls world.

This is the third book in the Twilight Falls series. I recommend reading them in order. Hunter and Theo enjoy a very hot encounter in LA and they both enjoy the memory of the hottest night of either of their lives. Hunter is the successful owner of the only sporting goods store in or around Twilight Falls until Theo arrives on the scene and opens a clothing store that also carries sports apparel. Sparks fly between the two but then an accident has Hunter helping Theo and driving him to work. As they spent more time together, they let the sparks ignite the passion they have for each other that has been present since the first time they were together, and they fall in love.

I really enjoyed this book. I love the way this author writes. The MC’s have amazing chemistry and the entire cast of characters are very believable and likable. It was heartbreaking to learn what happened to Hunter in the past but I am so glad that Theo enticed him to try again to experience intimacy with ultimate respect and loving tenderness for his body. The steamy scenes were well-written and very satisfying. I highly recommend this series and author. I can’t wait to read about the next Terrible Seven friend.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was another good addition to the Twilight Falls Series. I thought that Hunter and Theo were great together, and their chemistry was off the charts. Yes, like the previous two books this was very insta-love. After a hot bathroom hookup in a club in LA Hunter freaks out due to the intense feelings that Theo evokes, Hunter flees back to his hometown as he’s worried that he’s going to end up getting hurt like what happened to him in the past. Hunter can’t stop thinking about Theo.

He has no idea that fate is trying to bring them back together until he finds out that his new business rival and neighbour both at work and at home. Hunter is not happy but it’s obvious to him that Hunter likes him but he’s scared. When Theo is injured Hunter helps him out and sparks fly. I loved that Theo was patient with Hunter and when Hunter opened up about what happened to him and why he’s apprehensive Theo helps Hunter feel safe and loved so he can slowly let down his walls. I enjoyed getting snippets of the “terrible seven” during this book and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of their stories as the series continues. I’d recommend this book, series and author to others.

Hot damn, these men have some sexual tension going on and it only magnifies when it’s acted on. Hunter and Theo met and anonymously hooked up. Neither one expecting to ever see each other again. WRONG. Life is full of irony.

Theo spends most of the book trying to convince Hunter to give in, while Hunter spends as much time denying it. Unbeknownst to Theo, Hunter has something in his past that affects his present.

Watching the cat and mouse game between these two was not unpleasant. Not at all. Hunter’s friends were equally amused. I love the camaraderie between this group of friends.

This is book three in this series. While it can be read as a standalone, the background characters spilled over from previous books, and some will have their own stories in the future, according to the author. This is the first book I’ve read in the series, and I liked it so much that I went and bought books one and two. I enjoyed this book very much. The writing was great, and the characters were engaging. Hunter and Theo are a couple who are easy to root for.

Hunter is the third book in the Twilight Falls series by the talented AM Salinger. Hunter is the bad boy of his friends. Alex and Carter have already fallen and now it's his turn, but he isn't going to like it! After a hot one night fling with a stranger, Hunter is a little thrown by how much he liked the guy. And he's really shocked to find him opening up a store in Twilight Falls, across the street from his. What are the chances? Theo is very happy to see Hunter again. Now he's going to take his time with him and show him that he always gets what he wants. Hunter isn't going to make it easy on him though. He's going to fight the attraction until Theo refuses to give up. I loved watching Hunter fall. He really did fight it but it was awesome to watch him give in! Theo is so delicious and he's the perfect match for Hunter. He didn't let him push him away. He took his time and showed him he wanted more from him. I loved catching up with the whole gang and I can't wait to see who's next!

I am not usually a fan of books where sexual tension drives the book, but in this case it works and propels an excellent storyline. Seems Twilight Falls bad boy Hunter has been good too long so he heads to LA for a night of fun and frivolity. He has a wonderful hot night with Theo never expecting to see him again. However fate happens that Theo is opening a new story in----Twilight Falls. They meet again and despite combustion and chemistry, they realize they are business rivals. Theo works hard to convince Hunter to take a chance for much of this book and finally when Theo needs help it is Hunter to the rescue. I love that for all the books in this series, "friendship" is at the core. And yes while each can be read as a standalone, your reading pleasure will be enhanced if you read them order and plots/characters sometimes crossover. Book three is a great addition to this series. Look forward to the next one. I did receive an ARC and leave this honest review.

3.5 stars rounded up

Hunter Thomson and Theo Miller are business rivals of a sort, but the real issue between them isn't really the possibility of one losing business to the other. It's the possibility of losing out on true love because of Hunter's fears. Their attraction is instant the first time they meet, and when serendipity brings Theo back into Hunter's world, all bets are off. Theo gradually seduces him with charm, humor, and endless determination. And Theo helps him get over the fear that only serves to deepen their already explosive attraction. It's a cute story, very sweet and amusing in parts. I confess that sometimes I wondered how old Hunter was because his behavior and thoughts were often so confusingly youthful, almost childlike. And I don't really understand why he had to introduce Theo to Miles, especially at the point of the story when he's about to tell him of his deepest fear. For me, that was the other discordant note in the novel.

Hot guys, steam with low angst💦

3.5🌟stars
I liked the earlier novel Carter in this A.M. Salinger series better. The male leads here are fine, likable, and their assumed rivalry as business competitors quickly becomes a non-issue, but I was not emotionally invested in their story.

I found it difficult to comprehend how these guys, Twilight Falls business owner Hunter and his new business rival Theo, formed such a deep connection so quickly after a spontaneous club hookup in Los Angeles.
I did not feel the emotion, but the steam is full throttle as Theo gets Hunter to admit he has him hooked.

The story blurb depicts Hunter as a bit of a wild spirit and I did not see it in the actual story.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

Hunter Thomson has a reputation for being a bad boy but has slipped in recent weeks. He goes to a club in LA to rectify that and experiences an amazing encounter with a stranger. It was so intense that Hunter, scared, decides to flee. Theo Miller moves to Twilight Falls to open his newest store. He can’t believe it when his competition turns out to be the sexy stranger who ended their encounter much too soon. As the two dance around each other, an accident forces the them together and the sparks fly.

These two together were absolutely amazing. Theo was so tender with Hunter as he worked through some of Hunter’s fears. Romance is truly alive in Twilight Falls. With a little help from friends, these two find themselves often together. I love seeing our other friends from the previous books as another one of the seven falls to love. I am enjoying these books so much.

Hunter and Theo have a steamy meeting that ends abruptly because Hunter has some issues that he is still dealing with. Since they were in a bar and didn't exchange more than first names neither expected to see the man that preoccupied each other's minds again. Then Theo opens a business across the street from Hunter's and rents a house across the street from Hunter's. This pair seemed fated to be together and Theo's pursuit of Hunter though persistent was sweet and respectful and at times hot. Their chemistry was intense and they really got to know one another and build not only a friendship but a life together that each really wanted to pursue. I just adore the friend group that are secondary characters throughout this series.

3.5 Stars ⭐️

✅Rivals to Lovers
✅One Night Stand
✅High Heat
✅Sweetness

When one night of letting go turns into so much more. After an explosive chance encounter that neither can forget, Hunter and Theo unexpectedly become business rivals when Theo comes to Twilight Falls to open his new business This one was tasty in terms of heat, tons of pining and push back from Hunter for reasons which we find out as the story progresses. This had a bit of a hurt/comfort and trust vibe to it and Theo was the perfect character to pair a timid Hunter with once he let his walls of protection crumble. While reading this it seemed like this story went by fast and ended rather abruptly, with that being said it ended on a happy note with tones of a HEA.
I'd recommend, especially for series fans.

This is the 3rd in the series and I didn’t love it as much sadly, don’t get me wrong, it’s great, Hunter comes across as a dark, growly man with issues, really he’s a soft teddy bear with issues but it takes falling for Theo for him to work through those issues. The pair fell in lust/love quickly, as happens in all these books so far. The characters are great, likeable and amusing, for me the star was lost because I found (and I really could be the only one to say this…!) the sex scenes just got a little much! They just seemed to drag a little and I found myself wanting to skip the pages which isn’t like me at all! As I said, could just be me, the story is lovely, the drama is little but affective, the writing is good (few words missing or wrong tenses used but nothing to put you off) it’s worth a read and now I’m off to read book 4!

THIS SERIES JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER!

I really enjoyed the teasing banter and comfort that Hunter and Theo gave each other and how Theo had all the patience and understanding when it came to the stubborn, sexy man of his dreams!

A bad experience made Hunter a top only guy but when he met Theo Mills in a bathroom it seems the stunning man ticked all the boxes and then some!

Can two business rivals and neighbours who both top be compatible where it matters the most or will something have to change in their dynamic?

These two guys have so much sexual tension that if they don’t do something about it soon the rest of the Terrible Seven will help guaranteed!

I look forward to Wyatt’s story next!

This is the 3rd book and while it can be read as a standalone, it is best enjoyed if you've read the previous books since the characters, which are a group of friends, appear throughout the series. Each book focuses on one of the friends.
What happens when the hot hookup you ran from shows up in your hometown as a new business owner?
That's just what Hunter and Theo will find out.
After a hot one night fling with a stranger, Hunter is a little thrown by how much he liked the guy. And he's really shocked to find him opening up a store in Twilight Falls, across the street from his. What are the chances? Theo is very happy to see Hunter again.
I enjoyed the back and forth between these two guys.

What are the chances? Hunter, meets Theo in fun circumstances when neither were expecting it. They hooked up, enjoyed the encounter very much and parted with fond memories. When Hunter returns to Twilight Falls, he has fond memories. Then he realizes, Theo represents the company that is moving in across the street from his store. A rival clothing store. Is there room in town for both stores, both men? When they meet, will it be business or pleasure? Can they overcome, overlook their rivalry? Does Theo's accident change their balance? Good story. Both men are adorable in their own rights and move toward great teammates. Totally hot story. Nice cover art, good story, well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I’ve read this series out of order but I don’t think it mattered to this story. I’ve read The Nights series ages ago and fell in love with Ava’s descriptive sensual writing ability. Other authors could learn a few lessons from her. Her weekly sneak peeks drew me to Hunter and Theo’s story. It’s a beautiful goosebump producing storyline with no angst just a couple of men finding a palpable connection. I look forward to reading Alex and then Carter’s book in the very near future. This group of friends and their shenanigans should produce lots of further books based around the Twilights Fall series. I look forward to reading each and every one of them. Well done Ava.

I enjoyed this, loved it a lot more than Carter I think.
I do wish these books had a little more of me being part of the "getting to know each other" part of the relationship. Instead of being TOLD like "we talked about everything, or through our talks I've come to realise he's a very kind generous person" I want first hand information, to be part of the conversation.
I also feel we were given a lot of detail in what Theo looks like and not much with Hunter.
And because I don't get to be part of them getting to know each on a personal level, them falling in love feels a little fast.

Meet Hunter and Theo

Oh these boys are hot hot hot! I do I’ll don’t get enough of this story. This book is full of lust and love and everything in between. Hunter and Theo share a chance encounter in a LA club. And then there he is again moving in across the street. Everywhere he loves Theo is there. And Theo makes it known he’s in it for the long haul so he better get on the same level. I loved how Theo seemed to be able to sooth Hunters hard edges with just his simple words or a touch. Their love story is pretty angst free which I loved. I can’t wait for Wyatts story next

I Enjoyed this third book of the series but it didn’t quite have the same spark for me as the previous two. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very good I just think I didn’t warm as quickly to Hunter as much as I did Alex and Carter.

He’s had some trauma that’s stuck with him and it takes Theo’s careful, loving attention to get him to a place where he’s ready to overcome his fears. Theo has a strength about him that Hunter finds he can lean on. There’s a bit of backwards and forwards between the pair as Hunter takes a little time to trust his feelings but once he accepts them it’s full steam ahead. They have really sweet chemistry and Theo definitely knows how to turn up the heat.

I’m really enjoying this series and so glad I picked this authors work up.

Hunter was a great addition to the Twilight Falls series, which I am really enjoying. I’ve really liked meeting all these characters and getting to know each a bit more in their individual stories. Learning more about Hunter’s emotional background and seeing him find his HEA with Theo was a treat. They had some spicy times. Theo is perfect for Hunter and fits in nicely with the rest of the group.

I love catching up with the characters in this series and seeing how the paired up ones are coming along. I’m excited to see what the next member of the Terrible Seven has to share.

I love these men of Twilight Falls, a group of friends who met in school, suffered through a tragedy together and now very protective of each other.
Hunter, a successful owner of a store, is shocked to hear of a competitor opening up a business directly opposite his location. Even more so when he finds out who it is. It took Hunter much longer to acknowledge and admit to his feelings towards Theo, but his concerns were justifiable.
I look forward to reading more from these friends.

I hooked on this one trying to figure out what had happened to turn Hunter into the man he is. He's earned a reputation in town and when he has his intense encounter with Theo in LA, he immediately runs away from it and any chance of a relationship. There's clearly something in his past. When Theo turns up in Twilight Falls in the form of a business rival he's puzzled by Hunter but still attracted to him and when events conspire to bring them into close contact, he gradually wins Hunter's trust and we find out about Hunter. Another great entry in the series.

Two likeable characters, sexy times and I still like the series overall. BUT I liked book #2 a lot better. This one seemed to be in need of a conflict, and a few threads got close but nothing that stood out. They were sort of business rivals but the author never fully commits to that trope - they're both too nice, and both businesses co-exist without any threat of one closing. Could have been some conflict around Hunter being afraid to bottom, but that is resolved pretty neatly too. There is a bit of 3rd act drama about whether one MC will move back to LA but that is also resolved in like one chapter.

I really enjoyed Hunter and Theo. This book is an enemies to lovers romance and, although there is not much action in the plot, the development of their relationship was good enough to keep me invested. The writing is good and the development of the story is well paced. I am glad I gave it a try and I am certainly going to enjoy the next book in the series.

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.
