After delving into the mult-author Havenport world once before, I was eager to repeat that enjoyable experience with a different author. This was especially when I noticed that it was to be a military hero, a small town romance, a pinch of spicy suspense, and a Garden club gang of matchmakers. I hadn't even finished the first page before I cozied in for another delightful Havenport romance.

This was such a fun story. We're introduced to Francesca and Gabe through their letters when he's in the service, then pick up again when he goes to Havenport to see his grandmother. The story progresses very quickly and there's definitely action mixed in.

I do feel like it would have been even better if it had been a little longer since there were some things that felt like they were glossed over or just got resolved really quick
My Review: I received a complimentary copy of this book from Caffeinated PR, the following is my honest review. I love reading books with familiar settings, and even though Havenport is a fictional town, it is still has all the shore town Rhode Island feel. I love how even though this was a short book (under 200 pages), Nicole Patrick was still able to convey a backstory and connection between the characters with previous letters sent back and forth, so when they finally met the tension was alr ...more
