This was a very nicely done book about this subject. It's very detailed and informative. The way the book is written has several 'boxes' with texts talking about various things on the page along with photos and illustrations of Hurricanes and Tornadoes. For older children they can read all the text or, like I did for my special needs teen age son, I just read the main text on each page. Talking about information of how and where and what the Hurricanes and Tornadoes are and do. The other boxes talks about real life events that have happened including death rates and damage etc. Scary stuff for younger or sensitive readers. This book is set up where you don't have to read 'all' the text to get the information out of it, which I appreciated. Giving this book a wide variety of ages this could be for.
