Ok. So I have to warn you. If you’ve read anything of Matt’s, you should know his stuff is horror. If you haven’t, then be warned now. His stuff is so very well written, but it is horror and it is very dark. This one also needs to come with trigger warnings. I don’t want to go into too much detail so I don’t give anything away, but there is neglect, physical and sexual abuse in this and it leads to something else. I can’t say what that part is because it will give stuff away.

Well, this absolutely was everything you could want in a horror story. There was blood, gore, screaming, so much intrigue, and a twist you won't see coming.

This downtown apartment building has seen better days. Each apartment contains someone with a bit of a story, an interesting quirk, and the ability to be the killer. When a string of gruesome murders and a fire hit the tiny building, the tenants are worried for their lives. Luckily, the supervisor, Sean, is in charge. He knows everyone and

4.5 stars...A book told over a series of events leading with a murder and more, puzzling dreams, and dark shadows. Can you guess who the killer is? Brilliantly written. This had me puzzling with who it could be. One character is at the fore front of suspects but I had my doubts about him. There is a twist in thing toward the ending hmm yah I'd advise not to read this at night.. A drama filled ending mixed with sadness. Trigger warnings for horrible murder scenes included. This is not a romance ...more

You want to read mystery and horror look no further this book has it all...
And just add a bit of blood!

Extremely well written , when reading I could imagine everything what was happening very visual.
There is a twist and a question , who is doing these dreadful deeds ?

All the characters have substance they all are extremely likable.
They each have a story will they all remember it ?
So very worth five stars...

Buckle up for a ride into the depths of terror.
The author delves into the psyche of a deranged killer and takes us along for the journey.
The twist and turns keep coming at a breakneck pace, keeping you on the edge of your seat, leading you up the primrose path to a shocking conclusion.

There's a new twisted mind in town and his name is Matt Converse.
This is a dark, twisted, tale of mystery, murder and, well, read it and you'll see. If you are a fan of the macabre, of murder mysteries that aren't just blood and gore but also mind-twisting roller-coasters, then you love this dark tale. Set in San Francisco, this story takes you through a maze of weirdness, twisting left, then right, until you reach an end that will have you breathing a sigh of relief and pride for having
