Except they didn’t count on a competitor, and one who is set on ruining the Nightmare Courts.

And when something monumental is unearthed, Alyx and her men will have a decision, one that will take them on a grand adventure…or doom them all.

I love a good quest

I've been excited to get to know Alyx. Was not disappointed! I love her strength and her unapologetic look at life. She owns who she is and who she loves and wants.
I think my favorite theme throughout these books are strong women, and that strength shows differently for each, owning who they are, what they believe in, and their sexuality. It's refreshing in a world that doesn't always encourage these ideals.

Seriously can these books get any more detailed. Loved this first with Alyx and her guard. Can't wait to see what they find next. I really love the detail the authors are providing us with in the growth and the "un-hiding" of Faerie. And this cover? DAMN! Stunning. If you need new book boyfriends that are outside the norm, the Court series is where you should go!

OMG Action and Adventures

This is the fun, exciting, risk taking mayhem fae princess. No BS here. Has two guards and is waiting on her third to make up his mind.. And he's a prince.. Maybe a map and treasure hunt will help them bond.

I loved this book and cannot wait for the next book to come out. This look into Alyx's world will keep you laughing and wondering what else is going to happen to them. At least a portion of the issue is taken care of but a whole nother one takes it's place. There is a great big mystery to get through and the pieces will hopefully come together starting in the next book.

A Grand New Adventure

Alyx is a fae princess who is starting to establish a new court, however she also is a warrior and has been keen to take up the challenge to search the world, both human and faerie to find lost hoards of treasure. The treasure isn’t always gold and jewels, but also information, which is sometimes much more valuable. One such hoard leads Alyx and her men, Khalid and Scur to visit the faeblin prince, Abaxley. Abaxley is half fae and half goblin and can read the scroll they found. Abaxley is supposed to be part of Alyx’s court, but he’s been resisting.

This scroll is the start of a new quest for Alyx and as usual she jumps in feet first all gung ho.

I’ve always like the character of Alyx. She’s fierce and fun with a lust for life. When she was battling her brother Quinn, a member of the Queen’s court, it started to make me like her. This book also helps us to understand her men better than before, which is what usually happens with spin off series. I would say, as always with these books, you probably won’t understand a lot of what is unsaid in this book unless you have read from the beginning of the various series, ie Slumber (The Sleeping Court Series).

I will warn you that there is a doozy of a cliffhanger, and I’m just glad the next book is already out or I would be cursing the authors!

I absolutely adore every Princess in Faerie, but I’ve loved Alyx since she was introduced to us. Alyx is my absolute girl crush. She’s a badass and wicked smart. How could you not love her? Now that she and her Guard are off on their quest the excitement and extremely sexy times are just beginning. You definitely want to read this series immediately. Start with The Sleeping Court and I promise you will not be disappointed.
