From the very beginning to the very end, this book had my emotions on a rollercoaster's edge. The Friend Agreement has everything you need from a friends with benefits book. It has the right amount of angst, heartbreak, LOL moments, sexy scenes, off-the-charts chemistry, complications, and love.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

Trent and Mia met at college and became friends and then friends with benefits over the years they don’t lose their attraction and end up going to a friend’s wedding in Vegas where they end up getting married while drunk. Will they make it work? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. Great characters with amazing chemistry. I like it.

I hope young women who are reading this do not mistake Trent's treatment of Mia as "Love", that they're not as desperate for any man as she is, and NOT be like a doormat as Mia is. Honestly how surprising is it that they had unprotected sex multiple times and she got pregnant?

i wanted to point out how toxic of a guy Trent is, he knows Mia as deep feelings for him and uses her to his content. He even mention multiple times that he "loves" her but couldnt help himself so he uses her again knowing full well that he's gonna be gone soon anyways. If he really loved her, he would respect her, put HER first and NOT HIS ITCH. honestly one chapter was just one disappointment after another, Mia was ok being trent's personal doormat knowing full well what it will do to her - and she's an adult not some love sick teenager.

Alexis Winter has written a 5-star book that has Mia and Trent dealing with their friends with benefits relationship. Mia has loved Trent since she met him back in college. They have a relationship that allows them to hook up whenever Trent is in town. Each time this happens, Mia loses a little bit more of her heart to him. He never stays with her and she doesn't know how to tell him no. Danielle, a friend of Mia's has called her to invite her to Vegas with her and a group of friends but Mia tells her that she doesn't know the friends and that she can't afford to go. Danielle's husband and a friend of Mia's tell Danielle to tell Mia that Trent will be there. This gets Mia to start thinking about how every time she sees Trent he hurts her a little more. Mia again tells Danielle that she can't go and hangs up her phone. A few minutes later her phone rings and it is Trent. He talks her into going on the trip. Things go back to the way they were for Mia and Trent until one night they get drunk and end up getting married. With things the way they are between them they decide to file for a divorce. Mia goes to see Trent one weekend while he is in Canada and now he hasn't seen her in 10 weeks. Mia is over at Danielle's house for dinner and is telling Danielle that she is not feeling well, Danielle asks how she feels and Mia tells her. Danielle gets her to take a pregnancy test and it is positive. She goes to see the doctor and confirms the pregnancy. When Trent calls her, she asks him "if he wants to still go through with the divorce?' and he tells her yes, that he thinks it would be best for both of them. Mia doesn't tell Trent about the pregnancy, she thinks that since he doesn't want her he wouldn't want the baby. Now when Trent calls Mia she lets it go to voicemail. Levi calls Trent and gives him hell for the way he has treated Mia and let's slip that she is now 10 weeks pregnant. Trent tells Levi that she took what he said wrong. Levi tells him that since he still wanted the divorce then she would not trap him with the baby.
Will Mia ever get the point of telling Trent enough is enough or will she take what he gives her time and time again?
Can Trent ever get the girl he wants or will he lose her for good this time?
This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and misunderstandings between Mia and Trent. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Rewriting the Agreement: The Negotiations of Love

Mia and Trent were part of a group of friends during college, but Mia and Trent’s relationship was deeper—they were best friends, and that friendship continued after college. All their friends knew that they were close, but no one fully understood that their friendship included “benefits” until Mia realized that she couldn’t be “that friend” anymore. Each time Trent had stopped by Chicago in the past, they fell into that same “friends with benefits” relationship, and while he was with her, it was heaven. He was her heart, but he kept breaking her heart each time he left.

Now, the gang gathers again to join in a belated wedding celebration for Levi and Dani who had eloped, not even alerting their friends of their intention to marry. So now, after Levi and Dani’s first child is old enough to left with family, they contact their posse, and all fly to Vegas for a belated celebration. All who are invited are couples—and the arrangements locate each couple in their own room. And, it is assumed that best friends, Mia and Trent could share a room with two beds without difficulty. Except no one really knows how close Mia and Trent are, and how that close proximity will impact the fragile emotional entanglement now that Mia has decided to be just friends with Trent with no benefits.

With the dynamics of Vegas, the influence of alcohol, and the magic of a shared room, friendship with benefits morphs into something else; the friends almost seem like lovers; the lovers seem like people in love, but can the friends with benefits that lovers usually claim admit that what they really feel is love? And, what happens when one of the outcomes of friends with benefits is a baby?

The story of Mia and Trent continues to weave the stories of love of a group of friends that become that magical combination of friends that are family, family that are friends.

This story is about two friends who used to hook up in college and always had a good relationship, but went their separate ways after graduating. Trent is an engineer who travels the world for months at a time, but always gets two weeks off between his travels. He enjoys returning to Chicago to visit his group of friends, which includes Mia. He and Mia enjoy spending his time off together, as friends with benefits...until he leaves once again. Mia has always loved Trent, but Trent believes Mia deserves a man who can stay home with her, give her babies, and a home with a white picket fence.

The group of friends go to Vegas for a short holiday, and Trent and Mia are put in the same room. They spend the time partying, hooking up, and getting totally lit. After a particularly hard night of drinking, the couple wake up with raging hangovers and gold wedding rings...only they remember absolutely nothing about it.

When they return to Chicago they have to make a decision as to whether they should remain married or get a divorce. After all, Trent still has 4 years left on his contract and will be leaving again soon for work in Canada. Mia surprises him by showing up at his hotel, so they enjoy another week together. Then Trent decides they should divorce, and Mia is devastated once again, except that she finds herself with a major surprise. One that will change both of their lives forever.

This book is absolutely fantastic! I laughed and I cried and I absolutely loved it! A wonderful love story about friends who fall in love, mess it up for years, then finally end up where they belong - in each other's arms. Mia and Trent met in college and became fast friends. Always there when the other needed them, it soon gets complicated when they end up in bed together. It's great and then he walks away and she's broken hearted. Mia finally manages to get some distance between them when mutual friends have them going to Vegas together and staying in the same room. Mia tries to fight it but they can't seem to keep their hands off of each other and too much alcohol has them waking up married and not remembering a thing. They put off making a real decision about whether to stay together or not but when they return to Chicago and Trent is getting ready to leave for work, they decide to end it. It still hurts and they both struggle with the fact that they love each other but can never seem to make it work. Their friend Levi talks some sense into Trent and even though he puts his foot in his mouth, Trent manages to get back with Mia to make it work. Add in that she's now pregnant and it's all Trent ever wanted. They get to move forward with the happily ever after Trent always wanted with Mia but never thought he was good enough to have.

This is the first book in the Make her mine series that I have read. The tension and conflict of best friends since college, Mia and Trent, is amazing! What makes it so good is that it is actually something that could happen. College friends, to college friends with benefits with an agreement that it is just friends with benefits. Trent: I fell in love with my best friend, but I travel the world for work. She deserves so much more than I can give...so why can't I just walk away from her bright eyes and amazing curves that fit me just right? If we were meant to be together we would have been already right?
Mia: I fell in love with my best friend, but he has made it clear that I am just a friend with benefits. He is gone most of the time and I don't see him, so why can't I just get over him and move on. I have tried, really I have, but now I am mostly just a recluse working from home with my cat for company. If he wanted to be with me, he would have told me right?

Mia and Trent are thrust together by there mutual friends from college, Levi and Dani (from My Best Friend's Ex), who are planning an adult party in Vegas. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? What if that isn't what I want? What is a single weekend in Vegas is the just appetizer to what our life could be together? Can best friends with benefits become a happily ever after?

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This is my first novel from this author and overall I enjoyed it. Mia and Trent both have inner struggles with themselves and their feelings toward one another, so a lot of the novel was bouncing back and forth on how they felt at that particular moment. If they would have just been frank and upfront with each other, a lot of their issues wouldn't have happened and they would have been on the same page.

I do relate to long distant relationships since my significant other travels a lot for work. I don't know why they didn't think it could work for the two of them for a little while until they could get it figured out, instead of deciding they were to end it. People do it all the time - especially military families. I know that every person has their own thoughts about that, and some can't live without their spouse right next to them, but it's not as impossible as these two made it out to be.

I do have more books by this author that I'm planning to read, so hopefully I can give higher star reviews for those. I'm glad I got a chance to read this novel and I'm looking forward to more by Alexis Winter.

Exhilaration rocks this jewel, bringing it home with such intensity and precision, running bareback and imparting one block busting piece of perfection, thrusting this gem to life brilliantly. Navigating the trials and tribulations, noting the thrilling twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. Dynamics and presentation in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. Intense attraction and chemistry sizzles through the pages, alluring and mesmerizing, drawing you closer until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. 4.5 stars rounded up.

Mia and Trent used to be best friends, then they became friends with benefits. They broke things off and went their separate ways mostly because neither could admit their feelings went deeper. After some friends get married an impromptu trip to Vegas thrusts then together. Not only do they have to be around each other, they have to share a room.

At first they are both committed to keeping things friendly only but it doesn’t take long before they’re tearing each other’s clothes off and reliving old times. Throw in an unplanned wedding and a shocking pregnancy! Follow along and fall in love as they overcome old hurts and finally learn how to be honest.

I enjoyed the characters. Trent has a cockiness on the outside even as he struggles with his own feelings and Mia has a genuine insecurity and puts up walls to stop getting hurt again. The supporting characters are ones you’ll be familiar with if you’ve read the other books in this series. This can be read as a stand-alone because even though there is character overlap enough information is given to give readers a full picture.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last.
The main characters are Mia and Trent. They became best friends after meeting on their first day of college. Their friendship was strong and soon they became friends with benefits. Trent never planned on staying around after graduation and Mia knew that.

They remain friends in the years after college, and when Trent is in town, they hook up. Unfortunately, it breaks Mia’s heart a little more each time. Neither one of them has spoken about feelings or commitments. She knows she has to stop this to save herself from more heartbreak.

They are both invited to Vegas to celebrate their college friend’s marriage. Mia doesn’t want to go, but Trent convinces her time. The question now is, can being in Vegas with your best friend that you have always loved, and a lot of alcohol bring you a happily ever after?

Loved this book and really found the characters relatable. It was a fun read, though I wanted to shake some sense into the characters at times!! I would definitely recommend it!

This is is a steamy romance with a large side of laughter. Mia and Trent are friends that go back to college days. Since graduation, when Trent is in town, he and Mia hook up. His job takes him around the world while Mia lives and works in Chicago. Mia has been in love with Trent since they first met so she always makes herself available as friends with benefits. When some mutual friends book a weekend in Vegas for themselves and their friends, Mia tries to hold Trent at arms length. She wants more from a relationship than great sex; she wants a partner who will be home every night. By definition, Trent is not husband material.

What happens in Vegas leaves both Mia and Trent reeling from a hangover and the change in their relationship. Mia is a snarky, independent woman who knows what she wants. Trent is a successful engineer who travels the globe. Will the two of them resolve the problems they face? Can they find their HEA ending? Read this book by Alexis Winters for a hilarious and steamy romp between friends!

Lack of communication was their biggest mistake!
by sewsummore

Mia and Trent had a history of hooking up, from the time they first met while both were still in college. After college, every parting caused Mia more heartache until she decided to avoid the heartbreak by avoiding Trent. When their friends organize a celebration weekend in Las Vegas, and despite their differences, they share a room once again. The inevitable happens and spend the night making love. After several days of celebrating and nights drinking and making love, they wake up with wedding rings on their fingers with no memory of getting married. This book was a quick read with a happy ending, though not without a lot of heartache and misunderstandings before they reunited once again. These two lovers could have avoided a lot of pain and suffering if they had communicated better with each other, it saddened me to read about the pain Mia experienced every time they said goodbye and if Trent had not decided what he thought was best for Maddie without asking her first.

What a book and what an author! Alexis has written one of her best books yet. This is her 5th book in the Make Her Mine series and she just keeps getting better. Trent, Mia & Levi have been friends since their freshman year of college and Trent was there when Mia went through a break up and jokingly told her she didn’t need that guy anyway when she had him. What went from being friends turned into friends with benefits until they parted ways after college and Mia was heartbroken. They would see each other every now and then but with Trent traveling with his job they barely saw each other. Levi and Dani plan a weekend get away in Vegas and Levi finally talks Mia into going. What will happen when her and Trent spend the weekend together?
Alexis does a fantastic job with this story!!! I love the fact that Mia is strong and doesn’t cut Trent any slack. I love Trent and the love he has for Mia and my gosh the love they have for each other and the way Alexis tells their story just blew me away and I couldn’t get enough of them.

I was pulled into this book right from the beginning and that is where I stayed until I had read the last word written. All the time I had my little mini movie playing along in my head.
The emotions that the characters go through can be felt, some of them actually pulled on my heart strings. I did find myself getting frustrated a time or two and I really wanted to smack a few of the characters, but they redeemed themselves by the end of the book. I went through most of the emotions along with the characters, I might of cried a little bit more than the characters. It doesn't matter how many times I read this book I cried at the same places each and every time.
There are surprises throughout the book, some are large, while others are small. Some you may see coming while others you won't, but each and every single one of them is equally as important with in the story as the next. They all play there own part in making the story the fantastic read that it is.
There isn't a single part of this book that I didn't enjoy, I wish I could give it more than five stars as I think it s worth so many more stars.
I highly recommend this book.

On the first day at college, the two had something in common. First they were best friends, then friends with benefits and then ... something changed. But neither were strong enough to stand by his feelings. In the end, both are injured. There best friends want to celebrate their wedding and there is no avoiding a meeting. Old feelings flare up, especially if you have to share a room in a hotel in Vegas. As in the old days, one leads to another, only that the other leads to an unwanted marriage... The book captivates the reader from the first to the last minute and sometimes you want to take the two and shake them and say: Damn it start talking. But I think it's like in real life, sometimes you just don't have the courage. Thank you Alexis for a story that feels like real life. I laughed and cried and was sometimes a little annoyed that two people love each other and spend so much time apart, because you don't dare to stand by your feelings.

I absolutely love this series. Mia and Trent have known each other since college and haves loved each other since they met. However, neither knows how the other feels. Trent has a hold on Mia like no other and vice versa. Trent knowledge he should let her go, but he can’t. When they go to Vegas with their friends, fun ensues. One night they have lots to drink and end up married. Will they finally admit their feelings to each other and stay married or not? There are times that I wanted to smack these two and ask them what are you doing, speak up. 😂 Trent and Mia have such a strong connection with each other and they are always there for the other person, whether by text, email and in person. The chemistry between them is WOW!! So dang hot and explosive. They could win the gold in Olympics for sex. 😂 I really enjoyed the story and love the characters. You get to see all the characters from the previous books in this series. You don’t need to read them first, but I think you get a better enjoyment if you do. If you read this one first, you’ll want to read the others.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARCOF The Friendship Agreement. Overall I really enjoyed this book, but not as much as the previous books in the series. I was really enjoying the first 3/4 and then it kind of went off the rails. Trent kept saying that he couldn’t be with Mia because of his job, which technically turns out not be true. Trent kept stringing Mia along without realizes he was hurting her. I didn’t feel like Mia was being walked all over, which I sometimes do with these tropes, she willingly goes back over and over, even though she knows they want different things. My reason for the 3 stars is that I liked the slow burn and dialogue for most of the book, but then it just kind of sped through to the end. Like some pretty important details about both main characters was just kind of tossed in there like it was no big deal.

Overall, I did enjoy it, and I especially loved the cameos from all the other couples in this series. I’m not sure if this is meant to be the last of the series, but it did kind of tie up all the stories with a nice bow. Worth the read.

I received this ebook ARC from the author on the condition that I write an honest review.
O love the theme of best friends becoming lovers, then they actually get married. The male main character is Trent, an engineer, that travels a lot for his job. The female main character is Mia, a lonely woman with a home job and limited friends. Trent and Mia have known each other for years, and loved each other, but due to Trent’s job, they only get together infrequently, and it’s usually to just hook-up. A Vegas trip changes their situation completely, when they realize how much they truly love each other. Because of them barely seeing each other, Mia has a lot of insecurities about their relationship. They go thru several misunderstandings, until life and love fixes their situation. Eventually they achieve their HEA with some added family. I will definitely be reading more books by Ms Winter, and I highly recommend this particular book.

I adored this story of two people that have been best friends for years, only for that to grow into a "friends with benefits" deal. Trent and Mia both hiding their true feelings until a fateful night in Vegas when they end up doing the unthinkable and wake up the next morning to see they have gold bands on their fingers.
I loved seeing how Trent and Mia both grew in this tale, I laughed at their banter, and swooned over their hot scenes together. Mia is definitely a top favorite heroine of mine with her "take no bs" and tell it like it is attitude. I grew to love Trent and was so happy to see that he stepped up (even after it took some knocking of sense into him). Alexis won me over and had me glued to the pages until the end with this sweet tale that had a hilarious moments and a happily ever after that left me grinning ear to ear. I can't wait to read what she writes next!

Mia and Trent have loved each other for years but have never shared how they felt. Their friendship from college has evolved into a friends with benefits arrangement whenever he pops into town. They end up pulling apart when Mia can't handle being always left hurting and Trent knowing Mia deserves better. Fast forward and they are in Vegas with their group of friends. What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas and the ramifications will change things. The story made my heart hurt at times as I could feel the pain radiating off Mia and sometimes off of Trent. The book also at times had you high on the couple's love. There was fabulous banter between them and lots of steamy times. The steamy times took up a lot of the book because they could not keep their hands off of each other even when they knew it wasn't the best idea. Their HEA arrives before the end of the book and is drawn out a bit to expand on their happiness.

** Spoiler Tag**

The main characters of both Mia and Trent are very relatable. Both in the sense that they have a very complicated past between the two of them. As the story line progresses you come to understand that they have feelings that are more than just being friends with one another.
Although towards the middle of the book the only thing that you really want to do to the both of them is just shake them. Simply because they both have a misunderstanding about one another that leads to a lot of miscommunications. By the end of the book, you actually come to grow fond of not only the two main characters but their surrounding friends. Their is a deep sense of not only love but of also deep friendship.

Mia and Trent have been best friends forever and also friends with benefits. Each are in love with each other but neither know about the other. Their friends want to have a party in Las Vegas and want them to both come but Mia doesn't want to go. They finally get her to promise to go even though Trent will be there also. Unknown to Mia they booked a room for her and Trent to share. They end up making love and then Mia will be cold as ice to Trent. He doesn't know if he is coming or going. Eventually the last night they get really drunk and end up getting married but don't realize it just before they have to leave to go back home. Mia wants a divorce and Trent wants to try it out. She finds out she is pregnant and doesn't want to tell him. They finally get things worked out after much heartache on both sides, and find their happy ever after

[This book was apparently renamed from "The Friend Agreement" (Goodreads) to "Best Friend's Baby (Make Her Mine)" (Amazon/BookBub) and has a different cover.]

Mia and Trent have been best friends for years. They finally progressed into a "friends with benefits" arrangement. Although those benefits were perfect and satisfying, they both kept quiet about their “real” feelings for each other.

When they woke up in Vegas – and we all know that scenario is lethal, right? -- Trent and Mia found they were wearing wedding bands! Now what will they do? Admit the truth? Lie and try to get out of it (like trying to stuff the genie back in the bottle)? You will love reading their story! Lots of laughs and some growing up! Why is it so difficult to just talk to your partner and say what you feel? I guess we wouldn’t get such cute stories if it were that easy!

Once you get started you won’t want to put it down! A steamy fun read about friendship, love, timing and Vegas weddings.

These two characters are easy to relate to. Mia and Trent meet in college and fall into the friends-with-benefits relationship. Each one afraid to scare or break the others heart by communicating their feelings. Until they are forced to after a weekend in Vegas.

“Trent is and always will be my addiction, I’ll do anything to stay away from it, but I always fall back into the same trap”

“She knew not to fall for me because I would be leaving. I knew not to fall for her because I didn’t want to break her heart.”

This is a great read that was easy to get lost in. There was a lot of growth and the characters were easy to love. This book will leave you wanting more of their story!

This book was fabulous! This was Alexis Winter at her finest! Trent and Mia had so much sexual chemistry. Trent and Mia had been best friends with benefits since college. Years later, Trent is an engineer and goes all over the world with his job. He is only at home a couple of months a year. At first, Trent would call Mia when he was in town and they would hook-up. Everytime it got harder and harder for Mia to say good-bye until she just started making excuses when he would call wanting to see her. Then their friends planned a trip for a get-together in Los Vegas and it was sprung on Mia at the last minute that her and Trent would be sharing a hotel room. Mia insisted it was a bad idea. Especially after a drunken night waking up the next morning and realizing you both have wedding bands on! Ahhh...but this was merely the beginning! This book is a must read and I highly recommend!

This book was a wonderful read. Mia and Trent start off as the best of friends. They were always there for each other in every way and then they add in benefits. The pair fall in love, but are to stubborn to admit it to each other. After a couple of years, the benefits die off because they are to difficult to deal with and they dont see each other for a while. On a trip to Vegas things become complicated and just keep getting more complicated. They finally admit their true feelings and everything comes together for a happy ending. This is a well written story and that will take you through every emotion. And you get to revisit characters from other stories.
